What's the time? It's quarter to nine, time to have a bath — what do you mean? We're already clean! — scrub scrub scrub till the waters brown!

Virgil rolled onto his back sluggishly, staring at the ceiling through the darkness that shrouded the room. There was some light pouring in from the moonlight; living in the mind giving them the ability to change the "outside" world they could gaze at through the windows. It was a cute little feature, Virgil always found himself imagining the full moon directed towards his room, while - for instance - Logan prefers complete darkness and solitude, so he would usually leave the world a pitch night sky, plus drawing the curtains closed, too.
Sighing through his nose, Virgil lifted his arm and rested it under his head, propping himself up slightly. He had wanted to sleep for awhile, but it just...wasn't coming to him. Maybe if he let himself daydream, he could accidentally fall asleep.
Through the darkness, he heard Roman shift on his own bed, slowly tilting his head to the right to see his boyfriend on his side facing him, with the soft glowing light Virgil was able to detect Roman's open eyes, probing that the boy had woken up.
They had only recently gotten into a relationship, so they weren't used to being affectionate around the other, or receiving affection - cuddling was definitely something they would have to ease into, but they still wanted to sleep in the same room, so they devised a plan that they would rest in separate beds until they were comfortable sleeping in the same bed.
"Can't sleep?" Roman murmured into the silence, breaking it. Virgil nodded, humming a little as a hearable response. Roman breathed in deeply and stretched his body, rolling onto his back. They both fell into silence again, basking in the peacefulness of which was the room they created.
"What's the time?" Roman asked another question, a little curious too see what time he had woken up at. Virgil reached for his phone, pressing the home button, scowling when the low power symbol appeared on his screen. Shit, he forgot to put it on charge. Eh, he could find another way to tell the time.
Raising his arm, he snapped his fingers and suddenly "I'm not okay [I promise]" started blaring through the mind loudly. Roman narrowed his eyes in confusion, turning to ask Virgil why he had done that, but another shout silenced his own.
"WHO IS PLAYING MUSIC AT 3:26AM?!"
In a flash, Virgil clicked his fingers again, and the music shut off.
"It's 3:26am" Virgil finally answered Roman's question - said man had rolled onto his side to stifle his laughs by pushing his face into the pillow.
Everyone in the mind was ready to fall back asleep when another song began to filter through the walls.
"Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff. He's Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh"
"Patton!"
