"Good morning, beautiful" I say to Katniss as she starts to wake, "today's the day"
"I don't want to get up" she groans.
"Johanna's party will be fun and we promised we'd go"
"I know" she replies kissing me lightly. "Wanna join me in the shower?"
"Of course I do" I reply lifting her up and walking into the bathroom.
We stand under the steamy water which comes at us from all different directions gently washing each other
Her hand traces my chest lightly. She looks up at me, "I really love you" she whispers.
"I love you too" I reply
"I love you more" she challenges.
"That's not possible"
"Yes it is"
"No it isn't"
"Actually, it is totally possi-"
I cut her off with a kiss, pressing her against the shower wall.
"I love you" she mumbles in between kisses
"I love you too"
"I love you more" she replies with a smirk.
I quickly slip inside of her, and that shuts her up.
"Oh shit, yes Peeta, keep doing that, don't stop, oh Peeta" she moans
I feel her nails digging into my back as she climaxes.
"That was amazing" I gasp.
She nods. "Yeah, it was so good"
I gently kiss her before we hear the banging of the door.
"Shit, that must be Jo, I'll go stall her" Katniss says, kissing me quickly, hopping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around her.
I finish washing, and listen in on the conversation downstairs.
"What were you doing?" Johanna asks.
"Isn't it obvious? I was hunting for fairies."
"Haha" Johanna replies "that's funny"
"I was in the shower just in case you couldn't tell"
"Thanks for the clarification"
"You're welcome"
"Wait, where's bread boy?" Johanna asks
"Uh, he's uh upstairs."
Johanna laughs. "Let me guess, he was hunting for fairies too?"
"Johanna!" Katniss exclaims.
"You can tell me"
"Just don't, please just don't!"
"I'll find out sooner or later." Johanna replies, "well anyway, we have a party to go to. It's in 4. So we need to leave now, I'm driving and Haymitch already called shotgun, so you two are in the back with Mollie. We're meeting Kenzie, Annie, Eva, Blake and some of the guys there. So hurry up, tell bread boy to stop hunting for fairies"
"Okay."
"Good, y'all have half an hour"
Twenty minutes later the babysitter has arrived. And exactly half an hour later we hear the beep of Johanna's horn. "Get your asses in the car!" She screams
We walk slowly down the path. I open the back door for Katniss.
"You're only doing this so I'm in the middle" she complains.
"That's not true" I say as she slides in beside Mollie.
I slide in beside Katniss and close the door!
"Alright bitches, it's time to get to district 4!" Johanna says. She turns round. "Mollie, please keep an eye on Katniss and Peeta and make sure they don't do any fairy hunting"
"Jo!" Katniss protests going red
"So, fairy hunting, eh?" Haymitch asks, faking interest "Sounds like fun. How can I join?"
"I don't know" Katniss retorts. "Ask Effie"
"Oh shit" Mollie mutters
Johanna squeals with laughter "Holy shit!"
"Well then, Johanna" Haymitch replies, "have you asked Jack?"
"I told you. I'm not dating Jack anymore"
"So who's the new guy?"
"I already told you. I'm dating Blake. Get your shit together, Haymitch"
"So how many people have you dated?" He asks
"Well at least I'm not fucking the Capitol lapdog" Johanna retorts
"You fucking asshole!" Haymitch yells, "she's going to be here!"
"Well it's true. What was her job again, prettying tributes up for slaughter?"
"What was your job after you won?"
"Listen, you bastard. I was a mentor. Just like you, not an escort. We were forced into it. That was just a career choice for Effie. Do you really fucking think I could walk up to Snow and say 'hey bitch, I don't really want to do this mentor thing, so I think I'll stay at home this year, fuck you.' Because I think if I'd of said that-"
"Didn't you say that? Didn't you swear at the Capitol on TV?"
"I was going to fucking die, it didn't really matter"
"Should we stop them?" Mollie whispers to Katniss.
"I wouldn't. Unless you want an axe in your face" Katniss whispers. "Let them fight it out"
"I really hate you" Johanna screams
"The feelings mutual"
"Guys, just stop fighting, please. It's not going to be a good journey if you continue" Mollie says.
"Says the one dating Charlie" Johanna retorts
"Why are you bringing Charlie into this?"
Haymitch answers next. "Probably because bakers are known for having small dicks"
"That's bullshit!" Katniss screams
"What the fuck did I do to you sweetheart?"
"Dude, you're forgetting something." Johanna tells him
"What the fuck am I forgetting?"
"What's Peeta's job?"
"Shit" Haymitch answers. "I meant most bakers"
"I hope you don't want bread anytime soon, because you sure as hell won't get it" I tell him
"You're over-reacting"
"Hardly"
"Everyone knows its alcoholics that have the small dicks. Poor Effie" Mollie tells him
"Oh my god! You fucking owned him, Mol. Holy fucking shit" Johanna exclaims
"Thank you" Katniss whispers. "He deserved that"
"Wait, why are stopping in 7?" I ask
"Kenzie texted me and I said I'd pick her up" Johanna answers.
"There's only 5 seats"
"She can squeeze in"
"What if we get caught?" Mollie asks
"Then we're fucked."
"Awesome" she replies as Kenzie squeezes in between Katniss and Mollie due to Johanna's recommendation
"I'm putting Kenzie in between you two so you don't plot against me" Jo says casually
"We weren't plotting anything" Katniss says taking out her phone.
Katniss selects Mollie's number. 'Okay, you kill Kenzie, I'll kill Jo, then we'll keep Haymitch as a hostage and we'll take over the car' Katniss texts.
Mollies phone beeps and she checks it.
She laughs.
"Who texted you?" Kenzie asked
"Uh, Charlie"
"You're a terrible liar" Johanna tells her.
"I know" Mollie replied
"So who texted you?"
"It's a, uh secret"
"Cheating on Charlie" Haymitch mumbles.
"Just ignore them" I tell her.
The journey gets a little boring, and Katniss leans her head on my shoulder. I wrap my arm around her, stroking her hair until she falls asleep.
"Aww look at the lovebirds in the backseat"
"Yeah" I reply "Kenzie and Mollie are awful close"
"That's very funny" Kenzie replies sarcastically.
Katniss stirs slightly, I lightly kiss the top of her head.
"You two are disgusting" Haymitch mutters.
"They're actually really cute" Mollie replies
"No they're not" Haymitch replies
"We are, just admit it" I reply
I fall asleep too, and I stay asleep until we reach the outskirts of district 4.
Kenzie and Johanna are chatting about some girl Makayla
I notice that Mollie has fell asleep too, and Haymitch is nursing a bottle of liquor.
"Wake up bitches!" Johanna screams.
Katniss jolts awake. "Don't worry" I whisper. "It's just Johanna being an asshole"
She relaxes in my arms.
"5 more minutes" Mollie mumbles
"We're hear now"
"But I'm not ready to get up" Mollie complains
"Get up or I'll put my axe in your face"
"Shit! I'm up! I'm up!" Mollie exclaims
"Okay, let's go!" Johanna yells
