Lurking in the shadows
Under the moonlight
There's a spirit hiding
In a haunted house.
It's deserted, I know,
And the spirit is all alone.
But he doesn't matter, for he's
Actually a disguise of the mind.
So, why not start a party?
He wants friends, but he can't
Find them in the darkness.
He has to find a lantern.
But where is the lantern?
All he can find in the house
Is a smashed pumpkin. He'll have
To make do with the moonlight.
How does he find friends?
He leaves the the haunted
House, and stops by a tombstone
Where a skull is sitting by.
He asks the skull to join him
And rejoices as he accepts.
But instead of returning to
The house, they get into a coffin.
The coffin is hiding lots of
Deadly secrets, something you
Wish you'd never learn, as well
As tons of candy.
As they taste it, they rejoice
And make a solemn promise,
The one to become friends
And have fun with each other.
