Chapter 22 -
We walked threw the doors of the sports hall to see kids dancing the disco ball shining you couldn't see much detail cause it was pitch black but it looked amazing "Lets dance !" Isabelle said enthusiastically pulling me and Mikaela to the dance floor "Be careful" Jaden warned be before we left i was dancing with them laughing until a saw him with the corner of my eye , Michael!
I saw him he was holding a frightened Drew in his hands with a gun pointed to his head he gestured to the door of the hall into the changing rooms , looked at drew he was scared i couldn't let him get hurt "Hey guys I'm just gonna get a drink" I said before heading of in Michael's direction and into the changing room. He slammed the door shut and pushed Drew over to me and i grabbed him tightly "Drew are you ok " i said making him face me and stroking his cheek
"Yeah yeah im fine" he said grabbing me in another tight hug "Im sorry " he whisperd before pulling back and facing Michael he didnt look as scared what was that all about ?
"Your coming with me " he said grabbing my arm
"Wait what about our deal?" Drew said standing up before Michael could pull be out of the gym
"Sorry kid " he said pulling me out of the back doors and forcefully pushing me into a 2 seated black car with tinted windows,i looked back at Drew and he mouthed 'i love you' but i just looked away tears in my eyes.
When Michael got in the car he began driving to a old warehouse down the road from here i guess this was it ...
Jaden's P.O.V
I looked around the hall trying to find Alex but i could'nt see her i walked over to Isabelle talking to some guy and Mikaela and Bobby behind her dancing together i pulled them all to the side "Where is Alex" i said over at her she looked around a bit then realised "Oh no" she squealed
"What?"
"She said she was going to get a drink but she hasn't come back .... "
"How could you be so foolish come on Mikaela you track her down using her scent and we'll go find her - " i said us all walking out of the exit and onto the Field just to be stopped in our tracks by Emelia Jackson and Angel standing in our way
"Your not going anywhere " Angel said smugly
"Oh really" i picked her up and chucked across the field i ignored her moaning and ran inhumanly fast towards the car with Mikaela
"Its ok you two go , me and Isabelle will hold em back" Bobby said looking over at Jackson with rage in his eyes.
I speed of down the road to an old warehouse that Mikaela said she could smell Alex's scent "Right when we go in you get Alex ill hold back Michael and just go!"
"But what about you?" Mikaela said
"It doesn't matter about me ill be fine you just get Alex ok ?" i said angrily did she not get why i was doing this? i loved Alex and i would do anything for her !
"Ok " she said while we opened the warehouse door we couldn't see much i turned on the light switch on the wall to see Alex strapped up in a chair a cloth tied in her mouth and a cut down her cheek "Alex Mikaela stay here" i said walking over to Alex and uniting the strapped cloth from her mouth she kept shaking her head didn't she want me to save her , i finally untied her mouth "Get out of here!" she said while i untied her feet and removing her from the chair.
"What why ?" before she could answer i was pulled backwards and was thrown across the room hitting the wall and landing on the floor below "Ahh" a stinging sensation went threw my back and i heard a crack i think i broke my spine and i could,nt move it will heal soon but for now I'm hopeless. Michael walked over to me his big black boots pounding with every step he took , lifted my head up to look at him standing over me and behind him across the room scared her hands sill tied but she was unstrapped from the chair and huddled in a corner.
"So i guess your here to save the day right ?" Michael said bending down towards me "Well sorry but i dont allow tacky kinghts in shiny tin foil ruin my plans so " he walked over to Alex grabbed her and pulled her down to me so she landed next to me "lucky you , you get front row seats "
I grabbed alex and grip her tightily into a hug "Dont hurt her!" i warned him
"And what are you gonna do about ?"
"Well he cant do anything since you hit him into a wall and paralized his back but i can do something" Mikalia said in her cocky tone and ran at him so they both went flying across the room when he landed on the bottom on the staircase and Mikalia ran over to us "Hey Jaden will you be ok on your own" yeah i said my back healing and i got up handing Alex over Mikalia "ill see you soon go" i said holding Alex in my hands looking into her eyes.
"Arnt you coming with us?" she asked
"No ive got to deal with Michael but ill be back soon just go get the others and get to somewhere safe you got it ?" she nodded while Mikalia helped out of the warehouse and when i heard their engine roar i turned to where Michael was last but he was no longer their i turned my head to left he wasnt their then to the right he wasnt their either
"Michael i dont think this is a time for playing hide and seek how about you come down here and we'll play some real games" i said looking around anymovement when i heard a woosh behind me , i turned aroud and grabbed his troat and he grabbed mine none of us getting the upper hand
"Ughh t-th-thi-this is no-not w-wor-workin-working" Michael said letting go but i had other ideas i grabbed him and threw him across the room "You thought that would hurt?" he laughed "Come on your weak" he said circuling me "you need blood Jaden"
"No i don't" i said getting angry i knew what his game was get me to drink blood agian and then join him but know been their done that.
"Yes you do cause if not then i can just do this" he pinned me down and shoved a steak threw my chest.
"Should have just joined me" he said shoving the stake further in my chest "We coud have been friends" he went ove to an old steroe and turned some music on some old calssic woman singing it was really depressing (Multimedia).
"Well m-michael i-i n-never come without a b-backup plan" i said coughing and spluttering blood every where
"Wha-" i grabbed the litter from my back pocket and chucked it on a curtain and in two secounds the place lit on fire.
"Bye Michael" i said falling to the floor and pulling out my stake and him trying to get out but all the exits were on fire.
Alex's P.O.V
We driving down the road the house still in view i looked at the reiw view mirror as we headed back to the school to get the others i noticed smoke coming from the house "MIKALIA !" i said shaking her.
"What !" she said trying to focus on the road
"The house its on fire , turn back"
"We cant "
"We have to " i could feel anger boiling up in me and my hands began to burn
"No!"
"Fine ill go myself " itried to open the dorr but she locked it
"No Jaden can take of himself and im taking care of you !"thats when it happend light shout out of my hands and letting the door fly open mikaila slammed the brakes on "What was that?"
"I guess this is what Michael meant" i said looking down at my hand in astioniashment "Im going back" i said walking out of the open door and running over to the house and by my suprise i was their it two secounds , i guess thats another one of my props.
I could feel the heat of the house how im i supposed to get in their i looked threw i crack of the window and saw Jaden on the floor wth blood around him, i didnt care anymore i burst the door down and ran towards him and shelterd him, i lent my head down on his chest sobbing ,ba-ba-bum, wait that was a heart beat "Jaden , Jaden " i said trying to wake him up he eyes flutterd open and then shcok hit his eyes "Alex?" he asked queitly i nodded my head in happiness
"Yes come on we've to get out of here" i said trying to pull him up but before i could something exploded and a huge flame erupted setting the hall house on fire the only thing i could think of doing was protect him and that's extacly i openend my eyes to see what i did i huge blue ball surroned us from the fire it was the same light that was coming from my hands , i was protecting him from dieing.
Alex it means the protector of mankind i guess that its true ...
