❝mark,❞ donghyuck mumbled, loving the feeling of his partner's hand playing with his hair. ❝i never thought we would end up like this.❞
mark wanted to say something but decided not to. he wants to listen to donghyuck's voice. ever since they were together he wanted to spend their moments together as if it's their last. he wants every second, every hour, every minute, every day, every step they take, he wants it special. he wants donghyuck to feel special.
❝cuddling with you like this, being your boyfriend..❞ donghyuck smiled as he mentioned the label they have, ❝being your boyfriend.❞
❝boyfriend.❞ mark repeated the word again, turning donghyuck around and is now facing him.
he leaned forward and gave the younger a kiss. a peck turned into into kiss that lasted for seconds. they pulled away and connected their lips back as if it has been years since they last kissed each other. the all so called peck turned into a heated kiss but nothing more. they are just having a passionate kiss.

❝i'm glad you stole my wallet.❞ mark said as sood as he pulled away from the kiss. ❝but you know what i'm most thankful for?❞
not knowing what the answer is, donghyuck shrugged. instead of trying to think what the answer is, he admired mark's face. every detail he appreciated it. he wondered how god this beautiful masterpiece. he raised his hand and ran it through mark's soft hair, probably made out of cotton. he slid his hand down and caressed the older's smooth cheeks, god probably rubbed it with 1% manliness and 99% baby powder. lastly, but definitely not the least, his eyes. donghyuck stared at his eyes, at mark's beautiful eyes.
❝you stole my heart, and i'm thankful for that.❞ mark rubbed his nose with donghyuck's when he noticed the boy spacing out. he giggled, ❝who knows where i will be now, what i will be doing and who i will end up with if you did not steal my heart.❞
it was donghyuck's turn to stay silent and just listen to what mark will say.
❝don't give it back, okay?❞ mark leaned forward, kissing donghyuck's forehead ❝let it stay in your hold. it's getting comfortable there and i bet that heart of mine won't go back to me. it's much better if it's with you, take care of it.❞

way to ruin the mood. mark wasn't this type of guy and donghyuck just reminded him by ruining the mood. the older blushed, ❝shut up.❞
❝is this the person i'll end up marrying with?❞ donghyuck stood up from mark's lap and ruffled mark's hair before walking towards the box and getting the something he placed inside awhile ago when they arrived, ❝because i'm lucky to have you as my partner.❞
mark properly sat down on the sofa and watched donghyuck walk back to him, holding a familiar thing.
❝here's for being the best boyfriend, and probably going to be the best husband.❞
mark smiled, gladly accepting the pin that he knew donghyuck made with hardwork. ❝you forgot something.❞

❝daddy mark.❞ that was supposed to be a joke but then covered his mouth as he realized it sounded wrong, ❝wait what?❞
he's so cute. donghyuck is so cute. mark stood up, ❝do you think it's only you that has something to give?❞
donghyuck rolled his eyes playfully, ❝i bet you're going to give me your love, which i already have, or share some of your cheesy lines— a phone!?❞

❝mark why did you buy me a phone!?❞ not happy, donghyuck furrowed his brows ❝you're wasting your money—❞
his sentence was cut off by mark giving him a peck on the lips, ❝don't overreact for once. it's just a phone. i just want to communicate with you if ever we are far from each other.❞

❝i know, i'm not supposed to waste money on useless stuff, but a phone is quite usefull. it can let you watch movies, make you listen to music and—❞
❝i know what a phone is dumb dumb.❞ donghyuck slapped mark by the arm lightly because he was holding a box that had a phone inside. ❝thank you.❞
matching the mood, the music turned into something that sounded like it fits for slow dances. mark placed the box down next to the pin that donghyuck made and pulled his hand out asking donghyuck out on a dance.
❝take my hand..❞ mark began to sing, ❝take a breath..❞
knowing where he got that, instead of making fun of him, donghyuck decided to just go with the flow and sang the next part, ❝pull me close..❞
❝and take one step..❞ mark noticed donghyuck taking two baby steps, ❝or two.❞ he giggled.
donghyuck wrapped his arms around the older's neck and just went to follow the song. unlike the first time he had dance to a slow dance with mark, he was improving. he wasn't stepping on mark's foot anymore, he also wasn't looking down to see if his moves were right.
he has learned a lot.

jeno turned to the side, ignoring the spoon that was poking his cheeks. ❝no.❞
the guy sighed, ❝do you want to die out of hunger?❞
❝i'm going to die anyways if i eat food coming from strangers.❞ jeno clicked his tongue, ❝who knows, maybe you poisoned that.❞
❝jeno just be a good boy and eat.❞ the guy kept on poking the spoon the younger's cheeks but soon stopped as he heard sniffling sounds. it didn't take him minutes to realize that jeno is crying.
he didn't want to ask what's wrong, why he is crying, because he knows why and he couldn't help but feel pity for him. but it isn't going to let his good side take over him, his family is on the line.
he won't save a random kid and let his parents be killed.
❝i just want to go home. i just want to live a normal life. i didn't ask for parents that uses human beings as lab rats for a job. all i wanted was to live a normal life and have a normal family.❞ maybe to fall in love with someone that has no one also but he's too clouded with thoughts of escaping to even think about love anymore.

oh boy, if jeno only knows what happened to his father and where his mother is right now. but the guy there wasn't in the position to say anything to jeno. maybe there's at least one thing he could do to at least change the mood.
❝let's start this properly, shall we?❞ he placed the spoon down the tray and the tray down the floor.
standing up, he dusted the dirt from his pants and gave jeno a soft smile. he can't anything right now, it would be risky, but introducing himself won't hurt. jeno knows him anyways, maybe not just by his name but his face. after all, it isn't the first time they first met.
