~Tessa's POV~
I sat on my bed in Grimmauld Place, reading a book quietly.
I was nearly startled off the bed when there was a crack behind me and both Weasley Twins were on either side of me.
I glared at both of them, breathing deeply
"Hey Tessa!" They said in unison
"You scared me! Can't you just walk in like normal people?" I asked
"What's the fun in that?" asked George
"When we aren't normal people?" Fred finished
I laughed a little and shook my head. I closed the book in my hand and looked at them
"So what can I help you two with?" I asked
"Well we were wondering if you were willing to help us" Fred said
"With pranking your twin" George said
"It'll be fun" they said in unison
"Sounds tempting" I said with a smile "what do I do?"
"You just need to tell us your favorite color. We can do the rest" George said
"So Tessa what is your favorite color?" Fred asked "Red?"
"Yellow?"
"Purple?"
"Green?"
"Brown?"
I tried to get a word in
"No one likes brown Freddie"
"What if I like brown?"
"Then you're weird"
"What about black?"
"I think she likes orange"
"I like orange"
"It's a good color"
"Excellent color"
"Indeed"
"Guys can I interject?" I said finally
They both looked at me
"First of all, I like green. Second if it's pranking my brother you're doing then I want in!" I said, "you would want to help me if I were pranking Ron, Percy, Bill, or Charlie"
"That's true" they chorused
"So what are you doing to him?" I asked
"We'll surprise you with the color bit but you can help us with a different prank." George offered
I nodded "Alright then"
"We're going to try to scare him. Horribly. And I think you can be the perfect weapon" George said
"Ooh now that sounds fun. What do I do?" I asked, grinning
"We just make it seem like you're dead" George said
"Isn't that a bit cruel?" I asked.
They looked at each for a moment "Yes..." They said together
"I'm sure we can find something else to do" I said
"It would've been seriously fun though" George said, leaning on me. (I was legit about to write Siriusly😂 old punning habits die hard)
I smiled at him and thought for a moment. "Anything?" Fred asked
I sighed "No"
They nodded "We'll think of something" Fred said
"Yeah don't worry Tessa" George agreed
I smiled at them and hugged them both.
"We could give you one of our soon to be patented fainting fancies" Fred said thoughtfully
"What are-"
"Those could have a bad effect on her" George said
"We've tested them on ourselves. They work fine" Fred argued
George frowned at his brother.
"Trouble in Paradise...?" I asked
They looked at me and shook their heads
"So what are fainting fancies?" I asked
"They make you faint in an instant! We'll be using them to help students get out class" George said
"We really want to make our mark" Fred grinned
"Alright let's do that" I said with a smile.
~Later~
~George's POV~
We sat in Tessa room while she looked over the small sweet we'd just given her
"Is it safe?" She asked
"Yes" my brother and I chorused.
"What does it taste like? Does it taste good?"
"Yes"
"What if I don't wake up?"
"You will"
"What if Harry gets mad?"
"He won't."
She looked up at me then Fred. I sighed and patted her head
"Don't worry Tess. It's just like falling asleep. You'll be awake in no time, you'll see" I assured her. She nodded
After a moment more of her staring at the sweet, she popped it in her mouth.
"Hm. This actually tastes quite-" she was cut off when she lost consiousness. She nearly fell off the bed.
"Alright Georgie. Pick her up. We'll set her on the floor. Then make a loud noise and call Harry up" Fred instructed.
I nodded and picked her up. Tessa was quite small actually. I suppose that happens when you have an aunt and uncle who nearly starve you. I felt sorry for her.
I gently laid her on the floor.
I stood back up and looked at Fred "You're sure this is safe?"
"We have a counter spell if something goes wrong. It'll be fine" Fred assured me, patting my shoulder, "and you can talk to her about your crush later"
"My-My what?" I looked at him on surprise.
"George. I'm your brother. I know more about you than you do. I can tell" Fred said, "let's do this"
He stood on the bed. I nodded and got up on the bed too
"Ready Fred?"
"Ready George"
We both jumped off the bed and slammed our feet on the floor. If the floor were any weaker I had every confidence that it would've given out.
"Harry!" I yelled, "come quick!"
There were footsteps from the stairs.
As Harry came in, he said "what was tha- Tessa!" He quickly went over to her.
He shook her a bit
"Tess. Tessa. C'mon wake up" he said, "what happened?'
Fred murmured a quiet spell.
I snickered when I saw that Harry's hair was now bright green
"What are you two laughing at?? What happened to my sister?" Harry asked
"Maybe she saw your ugly mug and passed out" Tessa said, weakly. Then she started giggling when she saw Harry's hair
Harry looked at us with his mouth hanging open
"Wh- Tessa what happened?" He asked
"Oh nothing" she said, standing up. She stood in between Fred and me.
"Something obviously happened" Harry said, crossing his arms
"I don't know what you mean" she said
"Tessa this isn't funny." Harry said
"Kind of is" Fred and I said.
Harry huffed and stormed out.
"He'll get over it" Tessa said
"Just wait until he sees his hair" I noted
She laughed.
We all walked out the room together. Then there was a yell
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAIR??"
