After Di Xin's actions, everyone just stared at me and moved further away from me. I decided to use the water from the stream to wash my face. There was nothing I could do about my clothes being wet from the drinks that splashed on it.

I wash my hair and my face. As I open my eyes, I see a little girl looking at me. I say little but she should be around my age, maybe five or six years old. Her face was really close to mine.
"Ah!" I shout.
I fall back on my butt in shock.

"Hi! Are you one of the people here to join the disciple selection of the immortal sects?" she asks.

The system and the girl's sweet voice overlaps and her unceasing questions render me confused. Still on my butt, I move back to give myself some space, but she inches forward every time I move backwards.
"Do you have any secret techniques? Have you created your own martial arts? If you cannot fly, can you jump really high? What does it feel like when you are high up in the sky?" she continues asking questions without letting me answer or say anything.
"Stop! Stop stop stop!" I say in a raised voice.

I move my head to the side a little and show a curious expression and ask Ying Yue "You don't know how to cultivate?"
Ying Yue's expression becomes sorrowful immediately.

I put on a gentle smile and look at Yue er and say "I have an unusual method to absorb qi, do you want to try?"
I take out the spirit stone that was returned to me after the cultivators from the immortal sects had examined it and show Yue er.
Yue er smiles excitedly and replies me in a raised voice "Okay big brother! You will teach me your special cultivation technique! It will be our secret te hehe~."
I stand up straight and pretentiously pat my clothes, copying the movies from my past life and act cool.

I do not use any qi as this is just a demonstration, but a soft sounding "boom" still sounds out. This makes me wonder if my father used any qi when teaching the drill punch to me, and if he didn't, just how strong must he be to cause a small explosion without any qi?
After I am done demonstrating, Yue er tries to copy me clumsily, so I correct the areas where she has made mistakes and help her perfect her posture. She then executes the form of Drill Punch.
"Big brother, how did Yue er do? Did I do okay?" she looks at me with her big eyes and asks with anticipation with a hint of worry in her voice. I cannot help but wonder why God made the world this way. An innocent little girl who has done no sin cannot do what everyone else takes for granted and just the slight hope that she might be able to do what other people consider "normal", would give her so much happiness and joy.
"Mmm, not bad. Practice a few more times for me then I will teach you my cultivation technique." I nod my head and reply like an expert teaching his disciple.
Yue-er seems to have talent in the martial way, as she could already mimic the form of Drill Punch quickly try. While she did not master it, she could definitely execute it if she had qi.
After watching her punch out a few more times, I nod my head and say "Okay, that's enough. Now try holding on the spirit stone and execute the drill punch. This is the flow of qi that you must remember." I point towards her heart without shame and then draw a line to her fist.
"Just imagine that there is something flowing within your body, do you understand? Now try punching the Drill punch while holding on to the spirit stone in your left hand.
Yue er adopts the fighting stance and pulls back her right arm. She then punches out and shouts "Drill Punch!" in a cute way, but nothing happens. She tries again and again and after about ten times, she looks at me disappointingly. Her eye starts getting moist and she looks as if she is going to cry.
I have to do something... I panic and start talking nonsense. "Yue er, continue practising, it's not so easy to properly learn a martial skill! It took me more than 2 days of constant punching before I could use it!"
Yue er eyes brighten and she rubs her wet eyes "Really? Big brother is not lying to me? Yue er will not give up and practice some more!"
She keeps on punching for a while and I almost fall asleep when suddenly a loud "BANG!" startled me and I fall off the stone I was sitting on.
"YAAAAAAAY! Big brother did you see it! I made the loud BANG!"

"Six Harmonies Eight Methods Boxing?" I mutter in surprise as this is one of the lost martial arts on Earth in my past life.
"Eh? Big brother, you have heard of my family's boxing method? Daddy said we cannot teach this boxing method to outsiders." She says curiously while staring at me with curiosity.
"Huh? Ah! No, big brother was just talking nonsense. Let me see the spirit stone." I say as Yue er passes me the spirit stone. I examine it carefully and notice that it isn't as shiny as before and looks duller.
Passing the spirit stone back to her, I look at her and say "Yue er, continue practising like this and absorb this spirit stone. Try to ask your parents for more spirit stones and tell them you already have enough qi to cultivate. Big brother has to go now! We will meet again if there is a chance!"
I run away as soon as I finish so Yue er will stop asking questions about the <Six Harmonies Eight Methods Boxing> and forget about it. She'll probably concentrate on the fact that she's now able to cultivate and will be really happy!

Outside the dining hall, everyone had already finished lunch and they were still happily chatting as they slowly walked out to assemble. After talking to Yue er, my terrible mood was brightened a little but after returning to this place and knowing that I could have been one of them, just made me depressed again and I just walked to a corner and waited there until the elders arrived to bring us back home.
