Chapter 1: Welcome to Sunset Wing Prep!

A loud beep echoed throughout her room as  Harmony covered her wolf ears and hid inside her blanket. After a good minute or so, the brunette popped her head out, glaring at her blinking, beeping alarm clock. '7:00 am' was written on the screen, flashing, the numbers colored red.

Her purple eyes widened as she dashed out of the bed, a gust of wind slightly rustling the articles of clothing set on her desk chair as Harmony run to the restroom. She grabbed her hairbrush and immediately begun to brush her long brown locks, straightening out the tangled bits.

Harmony had found ways to shorten her daily routine in the previous year, to the point that she was out in under 5 minutes. After that, the brunette strolled back inside her bedroom in order to get dressed in her school uniform.

It was a woolen beige sweater, a white long-sleeved shirt, a red bowtie, a dark blue skirt and white stockings. The outfit came with a pair of black flats, but Harmony chose to wear a pair of lilac sneakers instead.

The brunette hurriedly put on her backpack and rushed to the kitchen. She sat down on one of the chairs and greeted her mother, "Good morning, mom!" Harmony chirped with a smile. The older werewolf turned to her daughter with a bright smile.

Harmony's mother had raven black hair and the same bright purple eyes. She was dressed in her everyday clothes. "Morning darling!" Mrs Altair chirped, placing a few waffles on a plate and slipping it across the table, right in front of Harmony. The fifteen year old muttered a 'thank you' before squirting some syrup onto the waffles and digging in.

When done, Harmony got up from her chair and placed her plate by the sink, about to walk out, but she stopped and chirped a goodbye. Her mother wished her a good first day, which the werewolf barely heard, already being almost there.

The brunette arrived in the school. It was a large white building with a grand white staircase leading to the glass door. White pillars stood around the school and banner's with the institution's logo. The yard was made up of small groups discussing their summer experiences and groups of newbies, probably the freshmen, gawking at their new school's size.

She was like those freshmen, in one way or another. Harmony was a sophomore, but because of the move, the brunette was as surprised and impressed as those a grade below her. Her purple eyes sparkled as she begun to twirl around, viewing her new school.

Unfortunately for her, she did not notice two werewolves racing toward the school, one of them right about to bump into her. Her ears perked, realizing the situation a second too late because the werewolf bumped right into her, resulting in both falling to the ground with a thud.

Harmony stood up and rubbed her head, gazing at the person who very rudely bumped into her. It was a midnight haired werewolf boy with hazel eyes that showed slight irritation, a frown and hand on his head, rubbing the pained spot. Soon enough, a white haired boy sprinted passed the two, causing the boy to release an irritated sigh.

The midnight haired wolf stood up, sending Harmony a death glare, "Great, just great. Thanks to your blindness, I lost the race! Watch where you're going, freshman!" He yelled, walking inside the building. "But you bumped into me and I'm not even a freshman!" Harmony shouted back, but the boy was out of sight.

A dark blue haired werewolf boy with light green eyes then walked up to her, pushing his glasses to the bridge of his nose. "I'm sorry if my friend bothered you. He's really competitive and hates losing. It sometimes causes him to be harsh towards others. He also doesn't really like to use the full extent of his brain either, so sorry he assumed that you were a freshman."

Harmony sighed, "It's okay, I have experience with werewolves like that" She smiled, "My name's Harmony Altair, what's your name?" The boy looked back at her with a gaze that showed close to no emotion, "Maxwell, Maxwell Green." He quickly turned his gaze to his electronic watch, "I should get going. I don't want to be late to class. See you around, Altair"

And with that, he was gone. The sound of the bell erupted throughout the entire school, students ending their talk to huddle into the building.

With minor struggles, Harmony entered her homeroom class. The teacher shifted her gaze onto the brunette, who whispered her name. The teacher responded with a nod, finishing the rest of role call. "Everyone, this year we have a new student in our homeroom class" The teacher explained.

Harmony smiled brightly, "Hi, my name is Harmony Altair" She greeted the teens in front of her. The teacher stared at the girl, "You can go sit next to Ms Brown and Ms Daze" He pointed to two girls, "Now go there and wait until the bell rings so we can go help with orientation." The brunette nodded, taking a seat between to werewolf girls.

One had  long brown hair tied in a braid, silver piercings attached to her wolf ears and chocolate brown eyes. She wore the same attire as Harmony, being the school uniform, but with the black flats given with it. She seemed slightly annoyed by her friend, who seemed unusual hyper.

The other had bright blonde hair that circled around her waist and sky blue eyes that showed the emotion of pure happiness. Her right wolf ear was colored snow blonde and her left one was light brown. She wore the uniform with the flats, like her friend. The werewolf seemed to either be squealing or screeching with excitement.

Noticing her presence, the blonde one turned around, "Hey! I'm Angie Brown, nice to meet ya!" The blonde smiled. The girl beside her sighed, "I'm Courtney Daze, it's a pleasure"  The brunette smiled. "The pleasure's all mine! I'm Har-"

"Harmony Altair. You told the whole class your name, remember?" Courtney giggled, receiving a glare from her friend. "Its rude to interrupt people, Courtney" Angie stated.  Harmony laughed, "It's no biggie. No need to fuss over nothing"

In mood to change the subject, Courtney asked, "What clubs are you going to join? Since you're new here and all". "Is there an art club, by any chance?" Harmony asked, fiddling with her fingers. Angie nodded, "Yeah! But there's a lot of other cool clubs like the cooking club or the music club, or the werewolf club!"

"Or the book club" Courtney butted in. "Your suggestions sound cool too, don't get me wrong, but I'm an art kid. Drawing is kinda my thing" Harmony replied. "Then maybe you could show us some of your drawings sometime!" The blonde said with a grin. Courtney gave a small smile, "That'd be cool" She muttered. "Okay!" The brunette replied.

The bell, once again, released an ear piercing ring, well, at least to the three werewolf girls anyways. "Well, that was quick. See ya!" Angie chimed. "Yeah, see ya" Courtney muttered.

Harmony walked through the halls, lost an confused. "Where the hell is the gymnasium?" She muttered. Soon enough, a small hand touched her shoulder, "Excuse me?" A petite, shaky voice asked.

The werewolf turned to see a short, redheaded girl with turquoise blue eyes and fair skin. From her short height and her nervous posture, Harmony assumed the girl was a freshman. "Yes?" The brunette asked in a gentle voice. "C-Can you show me where the g-gymnasium is, p-please?" She stuttered.

"I'm sorry, but I'm new here too. Want to search for it together?" The brunette asked nervously. "Sure!" The redhead smiled. Her head then perked up, "But you seem a little old to be a freshman" She muttered.

Harmony giggled, "That's because I'm not. I'm a sophomore, but I only moved here a few weeks ago." She explained. A red blush rose to the redhead's cheeks. She immediately begun bowing repeatedly, apologizing for assuming her grade.

The brunette tried to tell her that it was alright, but couldn't find room to speak. Following her instincts, Harmony grabbed the redhead's shoulder and begun shaking her, "Relax, woman! It's okay!"  The purple eyed girl yelled. The redhead snapped out of it with pure shock, making Harmony giggle, "Oh, right. I never asked you. What's your name?" The  brunette asked.

The redhead replied pretty shortly, "Melody. Melody Hazel" She smiled. Harmony replied with a grin, "Harmony Altair. Nice to officially meet you" She laughed.

A/N

Finally! It's here! After so long...

Melody is my precious bean. She's just so cute.

Angie and Courtney are supposed to be kinda like opposites. Angie being social and hyper while Courtney being sarcastic and quiet.

Max is just an emotionless butthole at the start, but he gets adorable later.

As for Chase... Sorry I made him seem like a douche. He's an adorable little pupper, I swear. He just has anger issues. Wait for his potential backstory that I don't know if I'm doing yet.

Now, that that's done.

Later~!
