This proposal was a long time coming you thought and so did all the boys. You waited years for Darry to finally have the courage to do it and when he did it was like a giant weight off both of your shoulders. The day of your fourth anniversary was like any other day, you were kind of mad that Darry hadn't even mentioned the day to you. You thought that maybe he forgot or something. After dinner you were doing the dishes like usual when you feel Darry wrap his arms around your body, you shrugged him off not in the mood for his presences at the moment. It wasn't until you turned around when you saw him down on one knee, your heart began to race as he spoke. "I love you so much, will you do me the honour of becoming Mrs. Curtis?" You jumped into his arms, screaming "Yes!". He picked you up and kisses you passionately before carrying you towards the bedroom.
You had already mentally planned this wedding for the last two years. You knew what you wanted and had to get it. Darry and you both worked long hard hours to save money. He has no idea about planning weddings or even how to speak to a cake decorator. He lets you pick whatever you want, but you insist he comes to help you out. After all it wasn't just your day. You wanted him to actually like the stuff you picked, it means a lot to you. Your parents adore Darry, they think he's a responsible, independent man which he is.
The wedding date is set on an Spring day, you're the happiest you've ever been in your entire life. You try not to burst at the seams from smiling so much. You had no doubt in your mind he was the only man for you. You couldn't wait to walk down the aisle to him. You sat in the changing room with your bridesmaids, who helped you into your dress and brushed your hair nicely. They wore golden coloured dresses like a fairy tale and the grooms men wore classic black suits.
The arrangement at the ceremony was pure and dreamy themed. You had beautiful flowers and glasses cases with vines leaves toppling out of the side. You loved the classical fantasy vibe to everything you had chosen and can't believe how gorgeous everything came together. It's being held outside of a woodland area park. You found it to be so stunning when you came to view that you had to pick it.
You walk down the aisle to fantasy music towards your handsome near husband. He looks up to you with stars in his eyes like the first time you had ever seen each other. You held hands as you stood face to face with each other. All you could focus on was him, you nearly forgot the priest was speaking. You both say the traditional vows. knowing neither of you could put into real words how much you meant to each other.
The priest tells Darry he can now kiss the bride. He pulls your waist in close to him, so your bodies are pressed together. You wrap your arms around his neck and both move into a passionate kiss. Everyone cheers as you both walk down the aisle together holding hands.
The reception takes place about a mile down the road at a nice lake side restaurant you had rented out. It was decked out with a bunch of circle tables covered in white tablecloths with candles and glass vases with white roses. In the middle was a large dance floor and a band on the stage. A large chandelier hung over the dance floor. The food was served by polite waiters and there's an open bar, a greasers dream.
Soda and Pony hugged you tightly, thanking you for taking their older brother off their hands, jokingly of course. The rest of the gang came to congratulate the two of you, and buddy around with Darry. Your parents loved to talk and take photos of you and Darry. Your father even gifts you some money to start your family.
You laughed and danced with all the boys. You listen to their funny speeches. Darry pulls you into a slow dance to your favourite song and you couldn't have pictured a better moment with him. You couldn't keep your eyes of how handsome he was under the lights. You couldn't wait to get him alone.
