I still can't believe Brielle is alive. She was all along. All this time I was depressed for what? My baby girl is alive! I'm soo fucking happy. I can't wait to get this school day over with so I can go see my princess.
*lunch bell rings*
I get to my locker to put my things away when I hear a familiar voice. "What's up my man! How have you been?" We do our bro hug. "I've been better since I got the news."
"What news?" He says. I lean in close. "Brielle's alive." "WHAT?!?" "Shh!" I say. "I don't want anyone else to know yet." "Why not?" "Quintavion, don't ask questions. Not right now at least."
I can tell he's about to ask another question so I say, "Look I need to gather some people up and we'll take a visit to go see her." "Wait, does Mikayla and Chrystal know?" "No, but that's not the point. I'll tell them later."
"So what are you going to do now?" He asks. "Well," I say as I put my book bag into my locker. "I'm going I go see her today after school."
"That's awesome! Can I co—" "No. You can't and there's a reason but I can't explain it right now." He looks confused. "Look, my girlfriend almost died. It's my fault. I want some alone time with her before she sees other people."
"Other people?" "I mean, like you guys. Her friends." "Ohh. I get it now." "Anyway, how have you been?" "I got locked out my house again and I had to come in through the window."
As he tells his story we walk to the cafeteria. We turn in the door when I see a girl walk in through the entrance. I stop in my tracks. "Brielle?"
