Akira P.O.V:
I jump awake, my face slick with sweat, my hair sticking to my forehead and neck. Another nightmare.... I had been having nightmares for the past few days, I wouldn't really call them nightmares, rather bad memories. The anniversary of my crime was coming up, when I killed the man that tortured and murdered my family. It would be 9 years, 9 years since I escaped that demon, but I still feel and remember everything he did to me. Lightly tracing the scars that covered my arms, my mind fills with the bone chilling smile that man gave me while torturing me. I shiver and wrap my arms around my body, thinking back to it I'm kind of glad he never cut my face.
Looking around I see everyone still asleep, the sun just started to come up. I unconsciously reached down and began to pet Jyugo's soft hair for comfort. Sadly, I knew I wasn't gonna be able to fall back asleep so I decided to listen to music, humming along to the song I was listening to I let my mind wander for what felt like hours.
A hand was placed on my shoulder causing me to jump slightly. Opening my eyes and looking at who put their hand on my shoulder I find Uno staring at me, his eyes full of worry. Badump... My face instantly became red as I put my hand on my chest, gripping it tightly.
"P-princess are you okay??" Uno asked his hand still on my shoulder, pulling me slightly forward.
"Yea I-I'm fine! Don't worry!" I say standing up, brushing his hand off while giving him a smile.
Quickly, I walked into the bathroom connected to our cell and begin to get ready. Gripping my chest tightly, I think back to the fluttering feeling in my stomach and the way my face heat up when I looked at Uno. 'Could what Momo have said been true?? B-but I've never loved anyone in a romantic way in my entire life! Whatever.... I just won't think about it and focus on today!' I think to myself as I put on my clean clothes.
I was about to open the door when it was suddenly opened. Before I was able to react I was tackled to the floor.
"PRINCESSSSSS!!!! ARE YOU OKAY YOU'VE BEEN IN HERE FOR A WHILE!!" Uno said while knocking me down, causing him to fall on top of me.
His face close to mine as he caught himself, he didn't move and my heart began to beat faster again. Badump-badump-badump-badump.... My face felt hot as I stared into his sky blue eyes. He moved his face close to mine, his face fanned over my face as my face grew even more red, by now my face were a red as my eyes. He glanced down at my lips then back up to my eyes, his face now becoming a vibrant red color.
"I-I-I'm sorry... Didn't mean to fall on you haha.. Are you okay?" Uno slowly got off me and stood up, extending an arm to help me up.
"Yea I'm fine! Haha are you okay too?" Avoiding eye contact with him I brushed the invisible dust off myself.
"W-well we should get to breakfast. I heard your reward is coming in today!" I say walking out of the bathroom, pulling him with me by the hand.
---le time skip---
My cellmates, Hajime, and I were standing in front of two large doors that supposedly lead to Uno's reward. I remember him telling us that he asked for a game room but.... didn't Nico get basically the same thing? Or was there a difference between a game room and an arcade? Well were about to find that out.
The large door were opened, revealing a large blue room filled with a couch, a table, a shogi set, a pool table, darts, and many other fun games. My eyes widened in excitement... There was definitely a difference between an arcade and a game room. We all (except Hajime of course) ran into the room, looking around and touching all the different games.
"Oh guys by the way I invited some more people. It wouldn't be any fun if we didn't play with more people!" Uno said looking at all of us with a wide grin on his face.
Right as he said that Samon, Kiji, Trois, Honey, Upa, Qi, and Liang walked into the room. All of them in awe at the large room. Suddenly, Hajime stiffened looking at the doorway, I looked at him with a confused face then looked at the doorway. I gasped in excitement and bounded over to the door. There stood Momo, looking around the room with a slightly surprised look in her eye.
"MOOOOMOOOOOOOO!!!!!" I yelled catching her attention immediately. Her face broke out into a small smile as she saw me. I jumped into her arms and hugged her tightly, her long arms wrapped around me as I heard a soft laugh escape her.
"It's been a while hasn't it, Akira?" She said softly, petting my head softly. I looked up at her with a wide grin.
"I know it really has! I'm glad you came today too!!" I say excitedly and wiggle out of her grip.
Turning around I found a white faced Hajime and Samon, a smiling Kiji, and all the inmates with their jaws on the floor. I pulled a face of confusion looking to Momo then everyone else. I forget that she's the warden sometimes, my mouth formed into an O shape as I remember.
"Don't worry guys me and the warden are really close! I mean you could probably tell because I call her by her first name."
"W-well then lets play some games!" Uno said after clearing his throat. We all shouted in agreement and began the fun.
I had won 3 shogi games against both Upa and Liang but lost 1 to both of them, I tried playing a game of pool but ended up breaking both the ball and the stick thingy. I won about 2 games of darts against Rock, Hajime, and Samon. Uno was about to announce what we were gonna play as a group but was interrupted when we heard someone at the entrance of the door.
"Shut up and just get in there already."
"You shut up! I'm nervous that they'll hate me because I hurt 2 of their friends!"
"Stop being a wuss and get your ass in there!"
"Hey Musashi, Kenshi! Come in and stop shouting in the hallway already! Were about to start a group game and you guys can join in too!" I said popping up by the door, looking at the with a closed eye smile.
"O-okay fine.... But only because Akira said so." Musashi said slightly shy while Kenshi groaned from behind him. We walked into the room and Uno started explaining what we were gonna play.
"Okay! Were gonna play a card game! You flip over a card from your deck but whoever has the lowest card has to take a piece of clothing off! It can be anything from a hat to your socks! I didn't come up with this game so don't blame this on me! Trois and Honey where the ones to decide because I lost to a game of rock, paper, scissors!" He explained to all of us as we sat around the table, he had passed out the cards and we were about to start playing. It was Nico, Rock, Trois, Honey, Upa, Liang, Uno, and Samon playing. Everyone else was sitting on the couch watching us or drinking tea. Both Hajime and Momo spit out their tea after hearing what we were playing.
"I DO NOT ALLOW AKIRA TO PLAY IN THIS GAME!" Hajime and Momo shouted at the same time making everyone sweat drop.
"I'll play, don't worry the farthest I'll get is my bra and underwear. So you can relax mom dad." I laughed at their reaction and turned back around as we started the game.
Rock lost first resulting in him taking out his earrings. Then Upa lost so he took off his little hat causing me to coo and touch his soft fluffy hair. Nico lost at the same time as Rock again Rock took of the top half of his jumper, showing off his large tan muscles, Nico took off the top half of his jumper as well. Next I lost...... I looked at everyone as they stared at me in anticipation causing me to laugh and take out the hairbands in my hair. Liang lost right after me and took of his shirt, his white muscles gleaming under the light. My face began to heat up along with my heart beat as I looked away from him causing Rock to nudge me, a smirk present on his face as he looked down at me.
Rock, Nico, Samon, and Honey ended up in their boxers, Liang, Uno, and Trois ended up without their shirts on, and Upa had all his clothes on only missing socks, shoes, and a hat. I on the other hand ended up without pants on, I didn't want to show them all my scars yet and I'd rather have them see the ones on my legs. Soon our time in the game room ended and we had to go back to our cells. My cellmates and I said goodbye to the others and walked back to the cell, chatting the entire way.
----le time skip----
I jumped awake from my nightmare, reaching down I searched for Jyugo's hair only to find nothing, slightly confused I looked down to find my waist without a sleeping Jyugo. I found the cell door slightly ajar, putting 2 and 2 together I assumed Jyugo was up on the roof.
I made my way up to where I think he was to find him sitting on the ledge of the building, his face pressed against the cold railing bars. Slowly I sat down beside him.
"Couldn't sleep?" I asked glancing over at the tired looking Jyugo.
"Yup. You too I'm guessing?"
"Yup... Jyugo why haven't you gotten a reward yet?"
"I've already gotten my reward. Nobody knows it except for Hajime and the warden."
"Could I know? I promise I won't tell a soul." I looked at him and made an x shape over my heart with one hand mid air.
"You want to know what I asked for?"
I nodded still looking him in the eye. My face serious as I listened intently.
"I asked for a second chance... To have one more chance to stay with my friends and make the best out of it. I would be in solitary confinement if we didn't win. I wouldn't have seen you guys ever again probably. I asked for another chance at life.... A better life than my last." He looked at me, his eyes watering slightly as he spoke. My eyes had tears spilling out of them, to think that I might have not seen Jyugo ever again if we didn't win.
I placed my hand on his and squeezed it softly.
"I promise you I will make your second chance the best. My brother I promise you that I won't let this go to waste." I say tears pouring out of my eyes as I hugged Jyugo, feeling him cry on my shoulder I smiled softly.
"What a heart warming scene~" A scratchy voice said from behind us. I jumped up with Jyugo beside me. My eyes widened and I froze.
"Why hello again Akira~ Nice to see you again!" The man exclaimed.....
'I-I killed this man... H-how can he be here' I thought to myself as I froze seeing the smile of the man that tortured me.

Muahahahahaha cliff hanger! I made up my mind on who will end up with Akira guys! But I'm not gonna tell you, although I will say that at the end of the book I will make an extra chapter of the other persons ending because your welcome!
