This story is a fanfic for the movie "The Kings of Summer". You do not need to have seen the movie to enjoy this story, however. It doesn't change the plot, just adds something to it. I do not own these characters with the exception of MJ and her backstory. All other characters belong to the writer of "The Kings of Summer".
Background: Joe Toy (played by Nick Robinson) and two friends build a house in the middle of woods when they decide to run away from home but discover it may not be the haven they were looking for. They eventually have a falling out, leaving Joe alone in the woods. That's the overall plot of the movie, and all I think you need to know for this fanfic.
