I woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. I laid in bed thinking as all of last nights events came back to me.
"Ughh," I groaned in embarrassment. I rolled over and checked my phone.
Unknown number: Hey, Sam. It's Noah. Just checking to make sure you got to bed okay
Hey sorry I just saw this, thanks for the help last night
I quickly dialed Hannah's number.
"Hey,"
"Han, can you come over?"
"Yep, on my way."
"And being breakfast." I quickly added.
"Of course, see ya in a bit. Love you."
"Love you." I said before hanging up.
This headache is seriously killing me.

I kept typing and retyping my response to Sam. I kept fidgeting with my phone.
Ugh what is wrong with me?
I ran my hands through my hair as I fell back onto my bed.

I starred at my phone. Just send it. It's just two words. Do it.
Send.
I put my phone on my nightstand and went to take a shower.
** Sam's pov
I was explaining all of last nights events to Hannah while eating the fast food breakfast she brought us when my phone went off.
"Who's was it?" She asked.
"Oh, just Noah." I replied.
"Just Noah? What is going on with you two?"
"Seriously nothing. We're just table partners. It's not that deep."
"Really? Because I don't remember your old table partners driving you back from parties and almost getting into fights with their best friend over you."
"It's different. He's just being nice, trust me."
"Well if that's really how you feel then you need to make it clear to him. Don't give him the wrong idea."
"What wrong idea? I'm missing something..."
"Sam, I think he might like you," she confessed.
"Yeah, right." I said to her. "There's no way. I'm 100% sure he doesn't."
"How are you so sure?"
"Because we're completely different. He's not my type and I'm definitely not his."
