goodbye is how our story began, and how it ends.
do you remember the first time we met? It was a cold winter day, and I was on my way home, my groceries in hand, when i met you.
On the phone with my ex girlfriend saying " for the last time, we are done! goodbye!", i was too distracted and I bumped into you. my groceries fell, scattering all over the sidewalk.
among all the people there, you were the only one who stopped to help. as we picked up the groceries, i remember admiring your golden brown eyes, sun tanned skin and your bright teal hair in contrast to my lifeless complexion, greasy hair, and dead eyes.
you introduced yourself as moira, and gave me your number. i remember wondering why on earth such a beautiful girl like you would ever give your number to a zombie like me.
i stuttered out my own name and thanked you for helping me with the groceries, before realising you had already changed topics.
i apologised nervously before running away to avoid messing up even more. it obviously didn't work, because here i am, a human mess, writing this before i leave and turn you into a mess.
anyways, going back on topic, when i got home, i had a text from you, and that is where I made my best mistakes.
mistake number one, answering you. mistake number two, chatting more with you.
mistake number three, becoming friends with you.
mistake number four, falling for you.
mistake number five, being happy with you.
mistake number six, my final mistake, leaving you.
i have so much more to say to you, but im running out of paper.
in conclusion, i guess my final words to you are the most cliche ones.
