*TWO WEEKS LATER*
Grayson POV
"Dude when are you going to tell everyone that Emma and you are together" Ethan said laughing, as he peeked over my shoulder to see pictures of Emma and I
"I don't know man, we literally just got together. I'm sure it's too soon" I said
"Fine, I'll just tell her you're being a little bit-"
"Ethan! You won't"
"Watch me. She is one of best friends, she'll listen to me" he said smirking
"Fine, Fine. But not right now. When the times perfect"
"Ok, lover boy. Just keep it on the low. And you have to talk about it with her, the fans are going to find out one way or another"
I sighed. And got up to grab a glass of water. When I headed back to the living room, the door bell rang.
I opened the door and it was Emma.
"Hey handsome" she said as she kissed my lips
"Hey, baby" I said smiling and pulling her into my arms. I squeezed her tight, and we sat on the couch.
"So listen, we need to talk" She said looking up at me.
"What's wrong?"
"Um, I don't know. I've just um been thinking a lot. You realize we're going to be far away from each other for a long time very soon"
"Well, yeah but we still have like two more weeks left together"
"Actually...I'm leaving to England tomorrow" she said looking down
"I'm leaving for a couple days"
"What?! When were you going to tell me?!"
She stayed silent.
Emma POV
"You can't go! I'm sorry, you're not going." He yelled shaking his head
"What the fuck Grayson!? You can't say that!"
"Well, I just did"
"NO! No, You cant do that to me. You aren't my parent, and you go to California all the time. You never give me a heads up either, so there's no fucking reason why I can't go!" I said tears coming out of my eyes
"That's for work. That's different"
"Wow, you're really wow! Soccer, playing soccer, that's my WORK! I'm doing this to do something with my life! I have a two day camp there, and I'm staying with a friend! It's the same shit!" I said getting up.
"Babe, wait"
"No, Gray, when you calm down and want to talk, call me. I'm going back to the hotel"
"Fine, Im sorry. Please just don't go"
I hesitated, but went back to the couch. I couldn't leave while Grayson and I weren't talking.
"I'm sorry, I understand what you're saying. I just got upset because it's going to take time away from us"
"I know, but this is important to me. You need to understand that"
"Who else is going with you?"
"Um, just Alex. He has to go to another camp. Nick can't go, he's staying to help the coaches with the younger kids, and same with Maria"
"Oh"
"It's going to be fine, I'll call you whenever I'm free. I'll be back before you know it."
"Im going to miss you" he said holding me tight
"Me too" I said giving him a kiss
"I gotta go pack, do you want to come?"
"Yeah, sure. I'll get the car started"
"Ok, I'm just going to say goodbye to Eth" I said running over to his room.
I knocked on the door, and slightly opened it.
"Grayson, I already told you, you can't-"
"It's just me" I said laughing
"Em! Sorry about that" he said laughing as he went over and gave me a hug
We sat on his bed. I told him I was leaving for awhile, and why. He got up, and we walked to the door.
"I'm going to miss you Em. Take care for me please" he said hugging me
"I'll miss you to E, take care of Grayson for me, oh and please don't do anything stupid" I said raising my eyebrow and laughing
"Run along, Em." He said laughing
I walked to the car, and we drove to the hotel. Grayson opened the door for me, and we headed to my room. I unlocked the door, and saw Maria helping Alex pack. Nick was watching TV.
"Hey guys" I said walking in
"Hey" they all replied
Grayson helped me "pack", but in reality he just sat there on his phone. He talked with Alex for a bit, while I finished up. They were starting to get along.
After a couple of hours of laying in bed with Grayson while we all watched a movie, it was getting late so he had to head home.
He stood up, and held my hands.
"Please be safe baby, and call me as soon as you get there, and while you're at the airport"
"I will. I promise. Be safe while I'm gone, and take care of E, you know how he is" I said laughing and kissing his lips
"Take care of her man" he said to Alex as they hugged
"Always" he replied
He said goodbye to Nick and Maria and left.
We walked over to the door.
"I love you baby" he said smiling
"I love you too" I said and gave him one last kiss, and said goodbye
I wiped the small tears off my eyes, and walked over to my bed.
"I thought you didn't want any more distractions" Maria said smirking
"Shutup, I don't remember that" I said laughing
"Whatever, you should go to sleep. I know your lazy ass is going to wake up late" she said smacking my head.
I got ready for bed, and fell asleep.
NEXT MORNING.
5:30 AM
Alex POV
I woke up, and headed straight to the shower. I got out and changed into some grey sweats, and a white T-shirt , and some slides. I got out of the bathroom, and Em was still asleep. Not surprising.
"Em, wake up!" I said poking her face
Nothing.
"Emma!!" I said tickling her
"Alex!" She said laughing
"You were awake the whole time??"
"Duh" she said smacking my head
"Get ready, we leave in 15"
She got up, took a shower, and got ready.
Emma POV
I got out of the shower, put my hair up in a bun, and got dressed. I put some sweats on, a hoodie, and slipped on my slides.
"Ready?" Alex said grabbing his suitcase
"Yup" I said
I woke Maria up. "Hey, we're heading out. Please be safe. I'll call you" I said hugging her
"I will, love ya" she said hugging me back
I walked over to nick who had already been awoken by Alex.
"Please be safe Em, I love you. See you soon" he said pecking my cheek
"I'll call you, see ya" I said hugging him
I grabbed my backpack, and my suitcase. We walked over to coaches room and said goodbye. Then, we headed out. Alex decided to leave his car here so that Nick and the rest could use it. So, we waited for the taxi to pick us up.
After about 15 minutes he arrived, we put our bags in the trunk and sat in the middle. He drove off to the airport.
I leaned my head on Alex's shoulder. I was still really tired. I could barely stay awake.
"Em, you need to wake up. You can sleep on the plane" Alex said poking my sides
"We have like a 20 minute ride still" I said
"Actually, we're already here" he said laughing
"Ugh" i said getting up and out of the car. We paid the taxi, and walked into the airport. We waited in line to get our bags checked.
"What flight are you going on?" The lady at the desk asked as she looked at our bags
"Um, flight 237, we're headed to Manchester, England" I said giving her our passes
"Yes, were really sorry. I think there's been a delay. Could you go wait with the rest of the people on flight 237, over there?" She said pointing to a group of people
We sighed and walked over. I sat down and crossed my legs, while I rested my head on the wall. We waited for an hour until someone finally came over.
"Sorry for the wait. We are really sorry, but there's been a storm in the way of the flight, we're going to need to change your flight for tomorrow morning, same time" the man said
Everyone started complaining, Alex and I didn't even bother, we called a taxi over and headed back to the hotel.
15 minutes later.
We arrived at the hotel, and I was still tired. It was around 7:00 am. I was still tired so I slept for a bit, after we explained everything to Maria and Nick.
Ethan POV 3:00 PM
My parents were away for the week, and Grayson and I decided to throw a small party. We invited a bunch of our friends, and decided to have a good time.
I was in the kitchen grabbing some drinks, when I walked to the living room and saw Grayson. He was with some girl, she looked drunk, and well it looked like they were flirting with each other, I don't like to assume though.
I walked over, and tapped on his shoulder.
"You sure you should be doing that?" I whispered into his ear
"Ethan, just fuck off" he said and continued laughing with the girl
Emma was away, I didn't know what to do, but it wasn't my place to be in. I ignored him, and hoped he had a good explanation.
Emma POV
I woke up around 3:30 and everyone was watching TV. I got on my phone, and was about to text Grayson. I remembered I didn't tell him I was still here, but instead I decided to surprise him.
"I'll be back in a bit" I told everyone as I slipped some sneakers on, with some leggings, keeping my sweatshirt on.
I drove to the dolans house. There were a lot of cars outside, maybe I should come back later. Well, there's not too many cars, I guess I'll just stay a bit.
I walked to the door, and knocked. Nobody answered, and I could hear music quietly playing in the background. After a couple minutes someone finally opened the door, it was Ethan.
"Em! Um, what are you doing here?" He said looking nervous
"My flight was changed, and I came to surprise Gray-" I stopped
I had looked inside, and I saw Grayson on the couch with a girl. They were making out. I didn't really know how to react. Tears fell out of my eyes.
I pushed through Ethan, and walked over.
"So did you really care that I had to leave?!" I yelled and slapped Grayson
"Em!" He got up and tried to grab me
I ran out to the car, and drove away as quick as I could. I tried to stop crying, but it hurt me. I arrived at the hotel, people staring at me. I ran up to the room. Once I got in, I slammed the door, and ran to my bed. Everyone was staring at me.
"Em, you ok?" I heard nick ask as I felt someone hug me
"He- he was with someone else" I said sobbing
"I'm gonn-"
"No, you won't do anything. Just forget him" Maria said cutting him off
"Let's just order some pizza" Alex said trying to change the subject, I smiled at him and wiped the tears off as Nick let me go
"That sounds good" I said
I went to the bathroom to clean myself up. When I was finished, we watched The Flash, and ate pizza.
"I love you guys" I said
"Aww, we love you too Em" they said tackling me
Grayson POV
WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST DO??
"Alright everyone, party is over!" I yelled, causing everyone to whine and walk out the door.
I started to clean up the mess.
"What the fuck Grayson?" Ethan said rolling his eyes
"I don't want to party anymore"
"Not that dumbass, about Em. Don't even try to call her right now. She came to surprise you, she's leaving tomorrow you don't have time to apologize" he said running upstairs
I ran my hand through my hair.
Grayson, what the FUCK did you just do?
