the older groaned ❝finding a uniform for you, what else?❞
mark found an extra pair and threw it to donghyuck. he told the younger to wear it and donghyuck just obeyed him, wearing the polo with his black shirt underneath. seeing the uniform too big for donghyuck made mark question about life.
❝why is it too big for you?❞ mark went back to his closet and look for another pair, this time much smaller
donghyuck shrugged ❝your uniform is also big, you don't see me complain.❞
the uniform mark wore when donghyuck visited mark's school a while ago was too big for his size.
mark sighed ❝but it looks cool on me meanwhile, on you.. it looks..❞
donghyuck crossed his arms ❝it looks what?❞
cute. ❝it looks like a dress.❞ mark shook his thoughts off, why did he even thought of cute as a word to describe donghyuck in a large sized polo.
the younger was expecting for an insult but it didn't hurt that bad after all ❝it looks cute though.❞ donghyuck pouted as he saw his image on mark's body mirror
the older just scoffed ❝whatever makes you sleep at night then.❞
mark took two pairs of uniform when he was still on his freshman years. he took it out and laid it down on the bed. he grabbed the clothes that he took out a while ago and placed them back inside the closet before closing it.
his attention was then caught by donghyuck who was still checking himself out on the mirror. unconsciously, his lips curved into a smile.
donghyuck's smile disappeared when he turned to the side and saw mark looking at him ❝wanna fight?❞
but he was greatly embarrassed on the inside. how long has mark been looking at him? he was doing different kinds of poses a while ago.
mark just giggled at what the younger said ❝on the bed? sure.❞
donghyuck walked towards mark and pushed him, making the older laugh even louder. ❝i hate you.❞
❝i love me too babe.❞ he gave donghyuck a wink before passing by him to go out of the room ❝try my old uniforms, maybe they'll fit you.❞
❝wait!❞ mark turned around when he heard donghyuck shout ❝where are you going?❞
❝taking chan out on a walk.❞ he calmly said, waiting for donghyuck's reply
❝wait for me.❞ donghyuck started unbuttoning the polo
the older raised a brow ❝what?❞
placing the polo down on mark's bed, he grabbed the older's hand and dragged him out of his room. ❝i'll go with you.❞

it wasn't that late yet so donghyuck and mark didn't have to worry about dangerous people outside. actually, donghyuck was but decided to fill himself with thoughts of rainbows and butterflies. mark with him anyways, nothing will happen. right?
they ended up sitting on a bench at a park somehow far from mark's home and mark just watched his dog running around freely.

❝nope, i don't know.❞ mark said
donghyuck just clicked his tongue, control. he didn't want to punch the boy who's trying to help him. ❝i'm not over about you telling the principal that my name is haechan.❞
mark snorted ❝that name is funny.❞
as much as donghyuck didn't want to deny, it's true. ❝the fuck, you made the name!❞
the older leaned back, still eyes on his dog ❝it's because i thought of my dog.❞
donghyuck crossed his arms ❝so that's why there's a chan on my name.❞
mark nodded his head ❝and then i would call my dog like "hey chan!"❞ mark explained ❝that's how i came up with haechan.❞
the explanation made donghyuck regret meeting mark ❝that's so lame!❞
mark pouted ❝no it's not. so whenever i call you, it would be like calling my dog.❞
the younger pushed mark harshly to the side ❝i'm not a dog!❞
mark just hissed ❝don't worry, i know. you aren't even cute like a dog.❞
why does everything that comes out from mark's mouth are all insults? didn't his parents teach him how to treat a boyfriend right? pfft boyfriend. donghyuck? mark's boyfriend?
❝goodluck haechan.❞ mark bit his lower lip to stop himself from laughing ❝anyways, i told mom everything. to your name down to our love story.❞
donghyuck was ready to throw up at the word 'love story' ❝but wait.. how about your cousin?❞
that was one person mark completely forgot the whole day. but whatever, he'll just think about that later ❝i'll just take care of it. i know my mom would tell my dad sooner or later. he would give us a surprise visit one day so just get ready.❞
the only question inside donghyuck's head was why. why is mark helping him? he didn't do anything good. in fact, he stole his wallet and made him suffer. isn't mark supposed to get mad at him and also make him suffer than to help him?
❝why?❞ donghyuck whispered
but since the place isn't that filled with people, mark clearly heard it. ❝about finding a place to stay, i lied to mom that you'd be staying for a while because your apartment is still on renovation.❞
this is too much. donghyuck doesn't think that he deserves all of this. but then again, it would be such a waste if he won't accept this blessing. he just hope mark won't leave donghyuck, just like how he left him.
❝why? are you planning to escape and live there?❞ mark groaned, it's not like donghyuck wasn't allowed to go back to his so called 'home' but it clearly isn't healthy to live there. there weren't even walls and donghyuck would be in danger anytime. ❝donghyuck i know it's your home but—❞
❝thank you.❞
mark blinked ❝huh?❞
donghyuck wasn't looking at him but mark could see donghyuck smiling by his side view ❝thank you.. for everything.❞
his heart was beating fast again, just like when he saw donghyuck for the first time. remind him to get a check up later, this is getting unhealthy.
mark being mark, he didn't want the situation to be serious ❝welcome.. haechan.❞ he laughed
donghyuck groaned, so much for actually being sincere ❝i hate you so much!❞
but jokes aside, donghyuck was thankful that he met mark. he thanked destiny for making him steal a wallet, specifically mark's wallet.
