Jisung approached me with so many emotions evident on his face that it's too much
"Jisung...?"
I mumbled with all my strength left
When those words slipped out
His face showed relieve and pain
"Yes, I'm here. It's going to be okay now,"
Was what he said in return
He pulled me into his embrace
I was shocked
This is probably the most affection I've ever had in my life
Or at least the life I remember
This all felt surreal
Why was he here?
Why is he comforting me?
I don't know
But what I do know
Is that I'm glad
I'm happy that Jisung's here
I guess I got a bit overwhelmed as more tears rolled down my cheeks
"It's okay now, Minho. You can cry all you want. I'll get you out of here,"
He comforted me
He kept on comforting me
Who knew this is all I ever wanted
He kissed my head and kept me close
His warmth is so comforting
He keeps me close and I feel hidden
I feel like I can do whatever I want without having to be judged
And so with my hands around his waist I gripped onto his shirt tightly
Please keep me close
"I have to get you out of here,"
Jisung said and pulled back
He seemed determined as he gently wiped my tears away with the sleeve of his shirt
"You have to pack your things. I'm not leaving you here with that bastard."
Now the bastard was the father
Changing roles now
I nodded
I don't want to be here anymore
Please hide me forever
Jisung stood up and I wanted to follow suit but my side hurt too much to do so
Once again
Anger filled Jisung's eyes
And then they softened again as he approached me and supported me towards the bed
He stood in front of my rundown closed and asked what I wanted him to pack
Is that really a thing I should worry about at the moment?
"Anything,"
I mumbled in the end
I didn't notice Jisung being done with packing
Until he kneeled in front of me
I stared into his black orbs
This shouldn't be happening
I don't deserve to be saved
Or to be happy
"I don't know if this is right, Jisung,"
I mumbled, unsure of pretty much everything surrounding me
He once again surprised me by putting his hands on both of my cheeks
The pain made me wince
But his touch was addicting
And I quickly grew fond of the warmth emitting from his hands
He then kissed my forehead
What is happening?
That's not a normal thing to do, right?
"Anything is more right than staying here with that poor excuse of a father."
Jisung's words surprised me
Maybe I should follow along
I don't know what awaits me
But he's right
So I gave him a small smile
He helped me up again and I tried to walk
I felt like he might come again and beat Jisung up this time
That's what happens to people who try to help right?
But the apartment was silent
Was he asleep?
I don't know
All I knew is that Jisung's taking me to a better place for now
