He'd even managed to escape that dreadful day the both of you were caught. He never looked back to save you. Although, after it all, without Peter Quill in your life, there would be no purpose. You would save him any day. But to him, you were another piece in his games.
That's why, as Peter Quill entered the prison, you let out a hearty laugh. Astounded, that finally, the arrogant Star Lord, had been captured.
He slowly walked towards you. "I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice, letting you get captured."
"I'm sure you are, Star Lord. Bored not having some good competition?" You tease.
"I've never wished to see you more than in these last few months."
