"Alright so your song..." Ellen said eyeing me. It was the day after and I was on the Ellen's show obviously.
"My song..?" I smiled and giggled
"ITS SO AWESOME" she yelled making me jerk back in surprise as the crowd laughed
"Oh my god you scared me!" I laughed
"No really.. it's so awesome like come on let's listen to part of it" She said and faced the screen behind us.
"Alright" I laughed and the my performance from the billboard awards.
Everyone watched the performance quietly. Then when the part of me crying came on Ellen paused the video. The crowd clapped and I smiled.
"So so why- why did you starts crying?" Ellen asks me. I smile.
"It's just- look I'm human and I have a life like everyone out there.." I sniffled and Ellen nodded
"And sometimes life gets a little hard- I was just facing some... problems .. and yeah" I said. By now my eyes were red.
".. well it's a great song nonetheless" Ellen said and I thanked her.
"Who's the song for though" she smirked making me and the crowd laugh.
"Well.." I said
"I can't tell..!" I laughed
"Come on just tell us... this isn't live there are no cameras recording us no one will know except for the people in this room" she said and I laughed
"Sure sure Ellen" I laughed.
"Tell me backstage then" she said and I eyed her carefully before we fell into laughter again.

A few hours later
Back home.

Taylor was over at my house and we were baking chocolate chip cookies because why not?
"I can't wait for these cookies to be done!!!" Taylor said as she put in the first tray of cookies into the oven.
"Neither can I. It smells so good!!!" I said clutching my stomach.
Suddenly my phone starts ringing. I turn the screen over and up from the counter as Taylor and I sit down on the chairs in the kitchen. I looked at the name on my screen

I instantly smiled, picking up the phone.
"Hey Jus" I said and Taylor smirked at me making me giggle silently.
"Hey Ash" he said and I could hear something close to sadness and urge in his voice.
"What's wrong?" I ask him worried
"Nothing.. it's just hails and I had a fight... and I'm thinking of breaking it off with her.. we've been fighting over nonsense and I don't think I liked her that way anymore.." he says. I heard a horn.
"Oh.. .. wait.. are you driving Justin?" I asked him
"Yes.." he said
"THATS NOT SAFE MISTER! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" I ask him getting worried. Taylor was silently laughing in her chair.
"I'm going to Hailey's house.. to break it off with her" he sighed with a little giggle.
"Alright but don't call someone while you're driving dumbass!" I said and I could hear him laugh.
"See ya Ash" he said before ending the call.
I closed my phone with a smile on my face. Taylor rolled her eyes at me playfully. A few minutes later the oven beeped, indicating that the cookies were done.
"Finally! I'm starving!" Taylor said taking them out of the oven. We both quickly put all the cookies into jars but not before eating a couple... or maybe several ...
I kept looking at my phone waiting for any call form Justin to see how I went with hailey but I got none.
"Girl.. you're so ... attached" Taylor laughed
"It's called love Tay.." I giggled
"Ashley loves Justin! Ashley loves Justin!" Taylor sang like a two year old.
"Oh my god Tay" I laughed hitting her on the arm playfully.
"Admit it. You love him" she said her eyes twinkling
"I already did dummy. I love Justin" I said and as soon as those words left my mouth Taylor's eyes widened.
"What?" I asked her but she didn't says anything- just remained wide-eyed and silent.
"Y-you.. love me?" I heard a gasp from the doorway and I turned around to see Justin standing there with his arms hanging loose by his side and his mouth agape.
"J-Justin" I gasped surprised. He wa snot supposed to hear that! Ugh I probably left the front door open! I saw Taylor sneakily leaving me and Justin alone in the kitchen.
"Uh.." I said scratching my arm awkwardly. He stepped closer to me still not saying a word.
When he was close enough he took left hand in his and pulled me closer making me gasp.
"Jus-" I started to say but he silenced me with a kiss. I tensed at first but then eventually melted into the kiss. A few minutes later we pulled apart and I gained up at him.
"But — But I don't get it.." I said
"You don't get what?" Justin smiled
"This- I thought you only looked at me like a best fr-" I said but Justin cut me off again
"I don't think best friends kiss.." Justin smirked. I gasped up at him.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting to be with you Ash" Justin said before kissing me again. I smiled. We pulled away
"I love you" He said smiling smiling my smile widen.
"I love you too" I smiled even wider.
"Okay bleugh" we heard Taylor speak from the doorway. We both turned to look at her and Justin blushed
"Way to ruin the moment Tay" I said and she shrugged while Justin laughed.
"Lemme get me my cookies then ya'll can kiss to your hearts content.." Taylor said grabbing a jar of the cookies and walking out of the kitchen with a peace sign making both Justin and I laugh.
"So... I know I told you I love you .. and I do.. but we can't be together right now.. I just broke up with hailey and-" Justin ranged on but I 'shushed' him.
"It's okay jay... I understand... I'll wait.. as long as I know I'll be yours in the end.." I smiled
"As long as you love me.." he sang lightly making both of us giggle quietly.
