As days and nights passed,
My series of sickness became unabashed.
It formed an inevitable part of me,
Like my hands, legs, brain and heart,
Feigning moments of pain became a skillful art.
Time came when I'd to retreat from college,
'Distance Learning' was the only alternative,
Seeking knowledge was the sole motive.
Assignments, Projects and Classwork,
Started taking its toll on me.
Classroom, Canteen and Corridor,
I'm going to miss every single corner.
Directy or indirectly, I thought,
Consuming knowledge was more ought!
My conscience nagged me,
That my ill health is doing this to me.
However, a decision awaited,
For my own good it was fated.
I tried guarding my will,
Determined to flow like a rill.
I embarked trudging on an itinerary,
'Pain' became my favourite word in the dictionary.
My Moments of Pain moulded me,
It honed me, ameliorated me.
I smiled writing this,
I accepted My Moments of Pain as a bliss!!
