Because like good boy can mean a few things like something has happened to one off the dogs.
THAT MIGHT NOT HAVE HAPPENED OKAY IM NOT SAYING SOMETHING DID HAPPENED TO ONE OF THE DOGS. Its just usually you call a dog a good boy and he's crying sooooooo
But there could be other reasons aswell so I'm not saying that is the reason
