Daisy wakes up with a scream. It was not loud enough to wake up her entire household but she heard it and she could feel her heart beating rapidly in her chest as she sunk into her bed defeatedly.
She was so sure the nightmares had gone away. She hadn't had one in the past month so this one felt fresh and it took her a bit longer trying to steady her breathing this time around.
Her hands grasp onto her covers and she lays for what feels like hours unable to think of anything else as the nightmare repeats itself over and over again in her mind.
