The way to the apartment I live in
Felt too short
So short
That I wanted to make an extra round around the block
But that's just funny business

So I went into the building
Stepped into the apartment
"MINHO!"
Is the first thing I heard when I entered
My father speed walked towards me
Pain is the first thing I felt when I saw him
A fist to my left cheek is what I got this time
What's the reason this time
I wonder
"Why...?"
I squeaked out
Collecting all my courage
I looked him straight into his eyes
His gaze was that of a monster
One that could devour you if they wished so
"How dare you speak up to me and look me in the eyes, you disgraceful child!"
He yelled out before kicking me in the stomach
I fell onto the ground from the impact
My back and head hit the wall hard
I groaned from the pain I felt literally everywhere
Before I could do anything at all
He pulled me up by the collar of my hoodie
Making me stand up
And he slammed me against the wall again
"Don't you dare come late again,"
He said sternly
And let my collar go
With my knees weak
And having no strength at all
I slid down the wall onto the ground
Tears wandered down my cheeks
From the pain
Physically
And
Mentally
I'm exhausted
