(A/N: I know he's happy in the picture but I just thought it looked cute)
Blaine has been so grumpy this morning, which doesn't surprise me as he's been up since 2:30am as some guys decided to rev their engines, play loud music and set fireworks off, making lots of noise, which then unsettled Blaine for the most of the night so Bas and I took it in turns to try and settle him whilst the other tried to get some sleep.
"Blaine, I need to change your nappy" I sigh as he rolled over and tried to crawl away. His nappy was half off and he kept escaping. I look around and find a teething rattle thing.
"Here Blaine, what's this?" I coo as I picked it up and shook it. He stops crying to look at it before crawling back to me.
"What's that?" I coo again, giving it to him. I carefully lay him back down again and quickly did my best to change his nappy before he noticed. I let him be before sighing and standing up.
"What are we gonna do? We're both low on energy, he's grumpy and to be honest, I haven't got time for this today" I sigh, throwing the nappy in the bin as I grumble to Sebastian about my problems.
"It's ok, we'll figure something out" I walk over to him and we hug.
"I wanna get him dressed but I think his pyjamas are fine" I mumble into Sebastian's chest.
"We can always dress him later if need to" Sebastian says as he kisses the top of my head.
"Ah" Blaine soon screams, making us both jump.
"Hey, quiet you" Sebastian says as he points at Blaine.
"Ah" he 'speaks' back.
"You can give me 'ah'" my phone soon rings and it was Santana.
"Hey" I speak to her and soon the call ended.
"What did Santana want?" Bas asks me.
"Oh, she wants to come over but I said its up to her because Blaine isn't in the best of moods" I explain to him.
"Oh right, yeah good luck with that one"
"I could just put him into something more cooler rather than those pyjamas" I say.
"That's if you can try to get him out of them and into his clothes"
"I know" I run upstairs and find a simple piece of item of clothing, which was only a red Mickey Mouse romper.
"Ok, this should be easy" I say as I kneel down near Blaine. I play with him for a bit to get him used to me being near him.
"Hi baby, thank you" I say as he looked at me and passed me a toy. I gently move him so I could lay him down, but as soon as I did that, he started whining.
"I know baby, daddy'll be quick" I say as I quickly take his pyjamas off.
"AAAAHHHH" he sobs as he tried to turn over.
"Nearly done" I say as I finally managed to get his clothes on.
"I know, I'm sorry baby" I soothe as I pick him up but he just tried to push me, so I placed him back down again.
"This is going to be a long day" I sigh.
"I'm going to go shower" Sebastian says.
"Ok" I go into the kitchen and start clearing up, Blaine soon starts sobbing so I stop what I'm doing and go to him.
"What's up, baby?" I coo as I pick him up after he made grabby hands at me. I check him over for any injuries, but it seemed like he had none.
"Come on, you want some milk?" I coo as I walk into the kitchen. I make a sippy cup of milk, one handedly and pass it over to him. He whines to be put down so I set him down on the kitchen floor where he decided to drink his milk.
"Look, there's baba" I smile at Blaine as Sebastian walked into the kitchen.
"Ughnn" Blaine whines around his sippy cup.
"Wow, he's either doing a poo or he's very grumpy and annoyed today" Sebastian says.
"Hopefully, it's none of those"
"It's ok, I'll change him if he has done one" clearly Blaine had done one, because we could smell it and he kept on grunting.
"You done?" Bas chuckles, he picks him up and smells him.
"Yup, definitely done a poo, come on bud" he says as he takes him to the living room to change his nappy. I finish cleaning up and go into the living room where a sobbing Blaine was and an almost giving up Sebastian.
"Come on, you've got this" I smirk at Sebastian as I sat on the sofa, watching.
"Blaine, stay still" Sebastian huffs. Blaine kept trying to roll over or crawl away and with a messy nappy like that, that's hard to keep clean. Sebastian soon manages to clean him up and put a new nappy on him. The door went so I get up and answered it to see Santana and Brittany, who was in her pushchair, she wore some short pink leggings with a short sleeve colourful shirt that had a ladybird on it with some pink and white spotty shoes.
"You walked here?" I asked her as I helped her in with the pushchair.
"Yeah, I thought a walk would be nice"
"Ok, just to warn you, he's very unhappy today" I remind her.
"Well, I could imagine after those guys last night" she says. On the phone, I had explained why Blaine was grumpy today.
"Unca 'bastian" Brittany runs over to him once she was let out of the pushchair.
"Hello you" Sebastian hugs her.
"Blaine's very grumpy today sweetie, so be careful" Santana warns her as we head into the living room to watch and talk.
"Bwaine gwumpy Unca 'bastian?" Brittany asks as she fiddles with the buttons on his shirt.
"Yeah, sorry sweetie" he sighs.
"It Tay" she shrugs.
"You look very cute today though" Sebastian bops her nose, making her smile.
"There we go, a smile" he starts tickling her.
"Ah" Blaine squeals.
"Hey" I warn him and he just gives me a glare.
"Oh wow, those are some looks there mister" I try not to laugh.
"Baba" Blaine whines for Sebastian.
"Oh, someone's feeling a little jealous" he says before picking him up after he stopped playing with Brittany.
"Someone's feeling jealous, huh?" Sebastian looks at Blaine.
"Ughnn" he whines as he then slapped Sebastian on the face.
"Hey, no" he warns him slightly as he grabs his wrist, not in an aggressive way to hurt him but enough for him to not do that again.
"Aaahhh" he then bursts out crying.
"Well, you shouldn't hit baba then, should you?" Sebastian says as he hugs him, which Blaine accepts this time.
"You alright, Bas?" I ask him.
"Yeah, he's got quite the smack" he says.
"Ouch, he is grumpy" Santana says.
"I know" I sigh for what felt like the millionth time today.
"Well if you guys ever need to take a break, I'll take him off your hands for a while" Santana suggests.
"Thanks San" I soon noticed that it got close to Blaine's nap, but as he was already grumpy today, I could tell he's starting to get a bit agitated.
"Ah" he screams like he did earlier.
"Hey"
"Ah" he screams again.
"Is it possible to put a 6 month old in timeout?" Sebastian huffs, making Santana and I both chuckle.
"What?" He looks over at us and tries not smile.
"Sorry babe" I pick Blaine up, who decides to just flail his arms and legs about whilst screaming. I do my best to ignore it and take him upstairs with his bottle. I place him down in his crib and pass him his bottle but he was having none of it. I left the room and juts slumped against the door.
"I'm soooo tired" I mumble against the door as Blaine's screams were heard. I close my eyes for a bit, hoping Blaine would soon go to sleep but it didn't seem to happen.
"Ok mister, you're clearly tired" I huff as I get him out of his crib.
"Huh? Come on get some sleep, my sleepy boy" I coo as I sat in the rocking chair with his bottle.
"Want this?" I coo as I showed him his bottle. He made grabby hands toward it so I passed it to him but still held it to help him.
"There we are, get some sleep" I coo as I rocked him gently as I watched him go to sleep. He soon goes to sleep and not long after, I did too.
*Sebastian's PoV*
Kurt spent quite some time up there and it didn't sound like Blaine was no longer crying. I head upstairs and go to our room first so I could look at the monitor first incase Blaine was awake and Kurt was close to getting him asleep, so I didn't want to disturb that. I look at the monitor and they were both asleep. I quietly walk into Blaine's room and carefully remove Blaine from Kurt's arms.
"Eh" Blaine whined.
"Shh, shh" I whisper as I rock him gently in my arms before gently placing him down in his crib. I then carefully pick Kurt up and took him to our room, I laid him down, tucked him in and kissed his head before going back down.
"They're both asleep" I chuckle to Santana.
"Oh" she chuckles too.
"I figured I'd let him sleep in too"
"Yeah, it's probably best"
"You ok, Britt?" I ask her as she happily played.
"Uh huh" nearly an hour later, Kurt came stumbling down the stairs.
"Ugh, that felt so good" he says as he stretches.
"I'm good, but it won't be long until mister wakes up so we better get started on dinner" we start on dinner and Blaine soon wakes up.
*Kurt's PoV*
I tiredly get out of bed and stumble downstairs. That sleep felt so good and made me feel so much better. We start on dinner and Blaine soon wakes up.
"Hey buddy, are we in a better mood?" I coo as I get him out of his crib. I change his nappy and take him downstairs.
"Hello baby" Sebastian coos as he kisses his cheek, which makes Blaine whine and try to push him away.
"Ok, so we're still grumpy" I say as I clip him into his highchair, which then makes him freak out and scream.
"Hey" I say as I go over to him. He kicks and screams in his highchair, which makes Brittany cover her ears.
"Sorry Brittany, it's ok" I try and soothe her as Santana was putting a pink 'I love mama' bib on her.
"Here's his food" Sebastian sighs as he passes it to me.
"Thanks" it took me 15 minutes to finally get food into Blaine.
"You ok, Brittany?" I ask her after Blaine had calmed down.
"Yeah, 'oo woud" she says.
"I know, I'm sorry sweetie" we finally finish with dinner and we leave Brittany and Blaine to play with Santana watching them. Bas and I clear up and soon Brittany was crying.
"What did he do?" I sigh as I walk into the room.
"He hit her with his hand, but she tried to get revenge and almost pushed him but then I had to explain that he's younger than her but it wasn't working out but she didn't do anything, I managed to stop her" Santana explains.
"Thanks San, I'm sorry about him hitting Brittany though, he's just tired even with a nap" I say as I pick Blaine up.
"It's fine, he's just a grumpy little baby" she says. It soon rolled onto bedtime and Santana had put Brittany into some short sleeve Peppa Pig pyjamas. She then gave her, her bottle, muslin cloth and two dummies.
"Bye Brittany" I hug her.
"Buh Unca 'urt an' Unca 'bastian" she says. Sebastian hugs her too and we say bye to Santana.
"Ok, let's get mister into bed now" I say as we head upstairs. I changed Blaine to the best of my ability as he struggled in my hold. I managed to get his short sleeve Mickey Mouse pyjamas on and place him in his crib with his bottle, two Mickey Mouse muslin cloths and his two dummies.
And like at nap time, he refused.
"Get me the pushchair please" I sigh at Sebastian.
"Sure" he kisses my cheek before leaving the room.
"What are we gonna do with you, huh?" I say as I pick Blaine up and tried to settle him. A few minutes later and Sebastian comes up with the pushchair and sets it up.
"Thanks" I say as I place Blaine in it, who just cried. I lay his seat all the way down so he was laid flat but he kicks his feet about, Sebastian passes him his things and I start to rock him. It took awhile but he eventually went to sleep.
"I wanna move him but I daren't" I whisper.
"Just rock him a bit longer and then I'll grab him" Sebastian says. I rock longer and Sebastian carefully unclips, gently pulls his arms out and successfully moves him to his arms and then the crib. I grab Blaine's things and put them back with him before we quietly leave the room.
"Ugh, I can not wait for tomorrow, hopefully he'll be in a better mood" I sigh as I get changed. We both get into bed and say a quick 'night' and 'love you' before going to sleep, exhausted from today.
