"Has she reported back?" A fancy dressed older woman inquired.

"Yesterday she did, but then I got cut off." Her worker replied.

A sigh filled the room.

"What has she said to you?" The woman wondered.

"Well she made friends with the Rangers," he told her, "and that she's understanding how they work and why humans are the way they are."

The woman adjusted her necklace.

"Good, but she needs to come home soon," she told him, "who knows what dangers lie ahead now that he has returned."

************

After preparing herself for the day, the yellow ranger headed downstairs. While fixing her crooked bracelet, she saw that one of her friends were already up. A bowl of cereal that had milk soaking it was on the table, along with a bottled water. It looked like it hasn't been touched. Maybe it was due to the fact that the person who made it was on their phone instead. He bit his lip as he scrolled down on the screen.

"Morning," Gia greeted as she walked inti the kitchen. The red ranger gave her a simple nod, "Not hungry?"

The leader shook his head.

"You know, Cinnamon Toast Crunch is my favorite." Gia brought up.

The aloof member of the team slid the bowl across the table. The blonde happily sat down and began to eat it. But after only a few bites, she looked over at her pal and raised an eyebrow.

"Are we going to have to play that game where I ask what's up and you sorta kinda vent to me so I won't go too deep into your business?" Gia questioned.

"Gia, I think we both know since I met you, you've always been in my business," Troy finally replied, "and if it's not you, then it's Jake."

Gia smiled and nodded, not denying that was simply true. She crossed her arms and rested them on the table.

"K so, what's up?" The perfectionist posed. The red ranger did not answer, "Might have something to do with someone saying that you're an unfit leader at twelve in the morning while they were practically trying to blow up the city in one night?" Gia guessed.

Her fellow comrade looked up at her and let out a short sigh.

"No." He told her, "If anything, he's exactly what Savannah said he was. That's why we have to figure out a way to take him down."

"How do we take down a psycho we've never faced and that apparently knows who we are?" Gia asked, "You know when we first met him, he captured me and knew our names. What else does he know?"

"Hopefully not a lot." Troy responded as he put down his device, "It would be super dangerous if he knew anything personal."

"Because then he could us that against us." Gia assumed.

"Pretty much." Troy replied.

"Are you two the early birds of the team now?" Both Rangers looked up from the table to see that the blue ranger had joined them. He went inside the fridge, grabbed an apple, and closed it.

"It's a three some now." Gia joked a little, "Welcome to the bird gang."

Noah chuckled a little. Placing his apple on the counter, his smile dropped, "A friend of mine just sent me a clip. It's us."

His friends rose up from the table and walked over to Noah. He pressed play. The whole scene, from the fighting to the explosions, was caught on camera. The reporter was on the far left. The nerdy member of the gang paused it. All of them shared a glance.

"This is bad." Gia remarked, "The last thing we need to be is the center of the public eye."

"We almost de-morphed too." Noah added, "Who knows what could've happened if the whole world found out the Power Rangers were highschool seniors."

"Eh they probably wouldn't care." Troy chimed in. The others gave him a weird look, "It's not the age that would matter."

"Guys!" A voice called out.

The trio watched as Orion, Emma, and Jake came running down the stairs.

"Huh so we're all early birds then." Troy commented to himself.

"What's up?" Noah wondered since they all seemed to be in a hurry.

"Check the TV." Emma told them.

Rushing to grab the remote, the yellow ranger turned on the television. A female news reporter was showing a clip of last night's events. The team viewed in shock and fear as now everyone knew that the Rangers were back and had a lot of attention placed on them.

"Seems like we might be in for another alien ride. The Power Rangers have returned and so has a new bad guy. After that last invasion, I have no doubt in my mind that these heroes, whoever they are, have everything under control and we'll live in a peaceful city soon once again."

"How bout you stop pressuring us so we can save your sorry butts." Jake spoke.

An alarm blared through the house. Looking down, the leader of the group realized it was his morpher. Picking it up, he answered the call.

"Rangers, get to the Command Center now." Gosei ordered.

He didn't sound happy. The teens glanced at one another.

"He knows." Orion said.

"Well it's better him than our parents," Troy retorted, "let's go."

*************

"Savannah!"

That was the first thing the redhead had heard as soon as she walked through the door. Looking forward, she watched her mom approach her.

"Are you ok? I heard about that attack last night and you were staying over at a friend's house and-"

"Mom, I'm fine, don't worry so much." Vanni reassured her mother, "And yeah, that attack was crazy."

Her mom nodded as they walked into the building further. People were busy at work. Calls were coming in, lots of documents and messages going around the place, yet the lobby was the most private place to be. That is, if you don't include the front desk lady.

"Hi Delia." Vanni greeted.

"Hi Savannah, hi Carla." Delia returned the gesture.

"So..." Carla started off as they stopped to stand and talk, "How'd um...you know-"

"Fine and I had some help." Savannah told her.

"From who?" Carla asked.

"Remember how you said you would crazy if you met hot guys in spandex?" Savannah asked.

Carla beamed, "The Power Rangers?"

"Yes." Savannah confirmed, "They're young so I don't think you have a chance."

Carla rolled her eyes.

"Honey, I have a man." She reminded her, "And besides, it's still cool. Have they revealed anything to you? Like powers or weapons or...their identities?"

"No." Savannah replied, "You know how the whole secret identity thing works. It's been done for years and it keeps from getting out of hand so people don't become celebrities instead of heroes."

Carla nodded.

"And anyway, I don't think they want to tell me. If they did, they would be more open." Savannah continued before a question came up, "Does Elaine know that I'm doing this? Is she-"

The female warrior paused as Carla let out a sigh.

"One of our friends might've spilled the beans." She told her.

Rolling her eyes and throwing her hands in the air, the blue eyed individual became angry.

"Was it-"

"Will? Yup." Carla responded, "He said he didn't have a choice. Elaine would've chopped him to bits if he kept hiding this."

"He knows how she feels about me. And now when I try to go home, she's going to try and make sure I don't move a muscle. I don't want that." Savannah vented in frustration, "She always takes over everything and I can't decide one thing for myself."

Carla put her hands on Vanni's shoulders in comfort.

"You know after what happened she doesn't want you in a bad guy's eyes-"

"I was nine and I got out when I was fifteen." Vanni cut her off, "What do they think? I mean, I don't wanna do-"

"I know that, Elaine knows that, and Will knows that." Carla interrupted her, "It's just...Elaine wants you safe and protected at all times. I'd try to talk her down, but I would probably get my butt cheeks removed."

Savannah crossed her arms as Mrs. Rivers let her go.

"It'll be fine, ok?" Carla asked.

Savannah sighed, but nodded anyway.
