Today we were due rain and thunderstorms as it's been so hot. You could tell it was bound to happen because the clouds near us were getting slightly darker and the air was not as warm.
"Clouds don't look too good" Bas says as I change Blaine's nappy and put him into a grey long sleeve Mickey Mouse bodysuit with some matching red trousers and some red and grey Mickey Mouse socks.
"So what shall we do today?" Bas asks as we head downstairs.
"Well, I think Santana is gonna come over, I said she could sleep tonight but it depends on how the weather is" I explain as I place Blaine down in the living room and give him some toys to play with.
"Ah" he squeals as he crawls around in the pile of toys.
"You're so silly" Sebastian chuckles. We sit down and play with Blaine for a bit and soon the clouds were closer than before.
"I better get the washing in" I say as I get up and find some shoes.
"Ah" Blaine whines as he sees me leave.
"I'll be back in a minute baby" I try and soothe. I head out to the back garden and start getting the washing in. I look at the door and Blaine was in Sebastian's arms, crying. I soon bring it in and place the basket down before grabbing Blaine.
"It's ok baby, I'm back, I didn't go anywhere" I coo.
"Grab the basket please" I ask Sebastian. We head upstairs and into our room, Sebastian places the clothes all over the bed and then sits with Blaine whilst I sorted the piles out.
"A nom nom nom nom nom" Bas tackles Blaine, pretending to eat him, making Blaine laugh.
"Baba"
"That's right" I smile at them both before carrying on. We soon hear the door knock and I left to go get it.
"Watch him" I say to Sebastian as I point at Blaine, who was near the edge of the bed.
"Stay with papa" I kiss Blaine before picking him up and passing him over.
"Mwah" Sebastian kisses Blaine. I went downstairs and answered the door to find Santana and Brittany there.
"Hello" I greet them. They come in and we make our way upstairs.
"Looks like Brittany and Blaine are twins today" Sebastian chuckles and I only now notice that Brittany was wearing a white long sleeve Minnie Mouse bodysuit with some dark navy/dark purple trousers and some pink and purple Minnie Mouse socks.
"As always" I chuckle. Santana helps me finish the piles off whilst Sebastian played with the kids on the bed, whilst Sebastian was too busy with Brittany, Blaine crawled over to the piles and I watched him very carefully.
"Blaine!" I warn as I look at him. He had put his hand out to clearly reach for a pile. He looks up at me and smiles.
"No" I tell him. He puts his hand back and laughs.
"Where's baba?" I ask. He looks around on the bed and laughs before crawling to Sebastian. We soon finish and I ask Sebastian to bring the kids to Blaine's room so I could put his stuff away after I had put our stuff away.
"Ah" Blaine squeals as he crawls to me, I was putting his socks, bodysuits and sleep suits away in his drawers.
"What do you want monkey?" I smile at him before giving him a kiss.
"Don't. Even. Think. About. It mister" I warn him as he placed his hand in the sock drawer and he had this look on his face that just told me he was going to do something...and he did.
"Really?" I try not to smile as he pulled his socks out and took a few of them apart.
"Cool, thank you Blaine" I chuckle.
"Someone grab this child please?" I chuckle as I pick Blaine up and just held him in the air above me for someone to take him.
"Here" Santana says as she grabs him.
"Thanks"
"Look buddy, it's raining" Santana took him to the window and sat him on the windowsill, he put his hands on the window and was just looking at the rain.
"Mummy, me 'ee" we hear Brittany as she ran toward Santana, who then picked her up and stood her on the windowsill.
"Thanks for ditching me, Britt" we hear Sebastian chuckle. He comes over to me and kisses me before helping me put socks back together and in the drawer.
"Ah dada" Blaine babbles.
"Yeah baby?" I coo as he then starts his gibberish. It then flashed before thundering, making Blaine jump before crying, he turned around so Santana could pick him up and passed him over to me.
"It's ok baby, it's ok" I soothe him as he sobbed into my shoulder.
"Wow mummy" Brittany says as she continues to look out of the window.
"Bwaine no wike?" Brittany asks.
"I think it just scared him a bit" I tell her.
"Otay"
"Here bud, want a drink?" Sebastian asks him as he held out his green sippy cup.
Blaine took it and drunk from it, his face red and tear marks on his cheeks.
"Aww, poor baby" I coo. We decided to go and have lunch so we head downstairs, I held Blaine a little longer as he still seemed to be a little scared. We soon give the kids their lunch before getting ours.
"Here Britt, here's your cup" Santana says as she passes Brittany her purple sippy cup.
"Fank wou"
"You're welcome" Santana smiles at her before kissing her cheek.
"You excited to sleep here tonight, Brittany?" I smile at her.
"Uh huh" she smiles back. The thunder and lightning carried on and Blaine still seemed a little weary of it.
"You're ok baby" I coo, sensing his worry.
"So glad this is happening now and not during the night" Sebastian says.
"It did say it's supposed to end about 8:30, with small stops in between" Santana says.
"Oh, it's only a little after his bedtime"
"Yeah, let's see how that goes" we soon finish lunch and I had to put Blaine down for a nap in his bouncer as I tried so many times to put him in his cot but he cried every time. So I'm now bouncing him gently while he goes to sleep.
"Babe, he's out, he's been out for quite sometime now" Sebastian tells me.
"What? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I ask him.
"Wanted to see how long it would take for you to notice" he chuckles.
"Oh my god, you knew too?" I look over at Santana, who was covering her mouth with her hand but I could tell that she was trying not to laugh.
"Guys" I playfully whine.
"Haha unca' 'urt" Brittany points at me, laughing as well.
"Hey, you cheeky monkey" I lean over and tickle her.
"No, 'top" she laughs, trying to push me away.
"Hey, shh" Santana tells Brittany off.
"Sorry, that's my fault" I say to Santana, who just smiles at me.
"You not tired, sweetie?" Santana asks her.
"Nu uh" she says although she cuddled up to Santana and looked like she was going to sleep anyway. The kids soon had their naps and were now playing together whilst I made dinner for everyone.
"He's not even walking yet and he's already a trouble maker" Santana chuckles as she grabs him away from the cupboards before he starts opening them all and pulling everything out.
"Tell me about it" dinner was soon sorted and we were soon eating. Blaine soon noticed what we were eating, he put his hand over the side of his tray, drops his food and then puts his hand out for mine, whining at me. Sebastian was feeding Blaine this time so I could have my dinner first.
"He knows, he knows" Sebastian says.
"Of course he knows" I chuckle. I feed some of my food to Blaine but he kept going back and forth like he did last time.
"Finished?" I chuckle at him. We clean the kids up and they when back off to playing again. Santana helped me whilst Sebastian kept the kids entertained, he was like a child at times anyway.
"Who's ready for bed?" I call out as I shook Blaine's blue bottle in my hand, it still thundered but we were going to try and at least see if he'll go down. Sebastian picked Blaine up and we all headed up. He lies Blaine on his changing table and I take over.
"Can you go see if Santana needs any help setting up Brittany's crib?" I ask Bas.
"Sure" he kisses my cheek before leaving the room.
"Right mister, shall we get jammies on?" I coo as I place his bottle behind him for now and start stripping him. I change his nappy and he tries to reach for his bottle.
"Here baby" I say as I pass it to him. I change his clothes into some long sleeve Mickey Mouse pyjamas.
However, as I was changing his shirt, he started crying because I had to take his bottle away from him for a few minutes.
"I'm sorry baby, just a few more seconds" I try and soothe him. I mange to put his shirt on and give him his bottle back.
"There we are" I kiss his forehead. Brittany soon comes running in with similar pyjamas to Blaine's.
"Are you ready for bed?" I smile at Brittany.
"Uh huh, come wook at I bed" she says.
"Alright" I chuckle. I pick Blaine up and I lie him down in my arms so he could drink his milk better and walked with Brittany to the guest room.
"Wook" she says as she shows me her pink and white love heart crib.
"Wow, it's very pretty" I tell her.
"Ready?" Santana says as she had her arms out.
"Night Unca 'urt, night Unca 'bastian" she says as she was lifted into her crib.
"Night sweetie" we chuckle. Santana gives Brittany her purple bottle, Minnie Mouse dummy with the matching clip, muslin cloth and then tucks her in with a blanket.
"Is she alright with the thunder or anything?" Sebastian asks once we left the room.
"Oh yeah, she loves it, that's what'll put her to sleep tonight" Santana chuckles.
"Oh right"
"Babe, he's asleep" Sebastian tells me. I look down and Blaine was in fact, asleep.
"Oh"
"I'll take him down anyway and then bring him up when we come up" I say. I grab his things and meet the others downstairs. I place him in his bouncy chair and give him his Batman muslin cloth, his Mickey Mouse dummy with the matching clip, similar to Brittany's and then tuck him in with his blanket which was also similar to Brittany's.
We watched a couple of movies for a bit until the storm passed, which would occasionally startle Blaine in his sleep but I would just bounce him a little until I knew he was ok. It was nearing 11:00 so we decided to head up to bed, I carefully pick up Blaine and Sebastian grabs his things for me. We all head up and we say night to Santana.
"Night San"
"Night boys" she quietly walks into her room and we were soon left alone.
"Shall we put him with us tonight or what?" Bas asks.
"Maybe we put him with us tonight" I lay Blaine in his crib that was in our room and Sebastian gives him his things. We quietly get ready for bed and huddle under the covers together.
"Night, I love you"
"Night, love you too" we kiss each other night before going to sleep, hoping for a brighter day tomorrow.
