Shivaay dragged Annika's hand and pulled her to the table where he had set everything with the video call. When Annika sat comfortably,, he made the call and for her surprise,, she saw the whole oberoi family decorated OM with balloons and flowers,, everybody were well dressed and a bright smile on their face made them even more beautiful and handsome. Annika (with a surprise) : everyone is looking so good,, what's the special occasion dadi ??
Rudy : oh my God,, without your knowledge that happened??
Om : shut up Rudy
Annika : what happened??
Tej: it's not just special... It's beyond that.... We were longing for this... Even shak.....(he paused)
Annika understood tej was about to mention about Shakti uncle but she doesn't want shivaay to know that...
Annika : shivaay, I don't understand anything.... What are they talking about??
Shivaay(casually) : ask them....
Pinky: beta.. Thank you....
Annika: Maa.... But
Jhanvi: don't act as if you don't know anything Annika
Dadi : ohhhh... Stop bullying my baby bahu.,,... Congratulations Annika.... And thank you for making me great grandmother. ..
Reality strike Annika then,,, happy tears welled her eyes.. "ohhhh my God..... All of you are dressed well and decorated OM for this??? Awwwww.... I, no, we miss you all......."
All: we miss you too....
Rudy: bhaiya,, thanks for making me chachu....
Shivaay : anyway my baby might call you chachu,,, but u will still be the crybaby....
Everybody except Rudy laughed at his comment.
Om: I am so happy for you bhabi... We really miss you
Anni& shiv : we too....
Shivaay : Annie,, why can't we go back to India??
Everybody got a sudden shock... No body knew what to reply him..
Tej: no shivaay,, I don't want you both here,,,, we do have many problems and rivals here,, so bearing a child here is risky,,, you better stay back there... We would cone and meet you there.
Shivaay(confused) : ohh OK that's fine then...
Nobody wants to see him in the confused stage... So they disconnected the call and before that,,. they once again congratulated the couple for making the entry of the new guest to their life.
Both were happy to see their family after so long... They purposefully made a distance with shivika because they wanted shivika to be alone, which is good for the treatment and also they doesn't know what to answer if shivaay if he asks about Shakti(if he remembers)
It was shivaay's appointment day with Dr. Pai. As usual he came to their residence to get the check up done. Dr. Pai was really satisfied with the improvement in shivaay's case.
Dr. Pai: how do you feel shivaay??
Shivaay : I feel great doctor. I just wanted time to fly..
Dr. Pai: why? You want to complete the course of treatment fast huh?? Are you even irritated to see my face once in two weeks??
Shivaay :ohhh no doctor.. It's not that,,, I just want my baby to come fast...
Annika and Dr.pai looked at him amused...." oh that's a good thing shivaay... So, do you take good care of Annika well" Dr. Pai asked to check his level of responsibility.
Shivaay(dramatically) : oh doctor,,, this lady is not at all obeying me.. Always behind me pampering me like a baby... She doesn't even realise that she is going to have a baby,, it's really tough to handle her doctor..."
Annika's eyes widened and stared angrily at Shivaay instead Dr. Pai smiled at his drama.
Annika(tearful eyes) : Doctor,, he takes good care of me and baby. He has improved a lot. He no more behaves immature. I am so thankful to you.
Dr. Pai: Mrs. Oberi,, treatment course is not yet completed... These are just slight changes...
Meanwhile shivaay got a phonecall and he excused himself and attended the call...
Annika: look at him doctor,, the way he holds his phone away from his ears,,, it was the way old shivaay did... I had told you,, he had broke the phone, hesitated to say sorry,flicked his hair,his attitude everything has changed doctor,,, he is just the old shivaay singh oberoi now.. He is no more that mentally unstable shivaay doctor. I could feel that in his behavior.
Dr. Pai: Mrs. Oberi,, he hasn't completely recovered. Changes are visible, I agree, it is because of the treatment. Let me clarify something with you... Has he ever remembered what happened on that day he lost his mind?
Annika(confused) : I... I.. Don't know... I mean... He has never disclosed it with me yet doctor
Dr. Pai: has he ever asked about that girl, who he was to marry,, I mean... T.. Tia... Yeah.. That girl??
Annika's eyes welled up with tears hearing Tia's name and she nodded NO....
Dr. Pai: does he remember that you were his event management staff?
Annika (head bowed down) : no, he believes that we had a love marriage, his brother had told him that we were deeply in love and he believed it.
Dr. Pai:that's good.. And finally,, has he ever talked or enquired about his father or his father's death??
Annika:no,,, in fact we had a video call with the whole family yesterday,, even then,, he didn't asked for Shakti uncle or nobody tend to make him remember it.
Dr. Pai: ok that's what Mrs. Oberi... Let him take his time.. He is in his recovering phase.. It takes a lot of time for his brain to accept the fact. Once he becomes mentally strong to accept the havoc happened in his life. He will accept it and that's where shivaay becomes shivaay singh Oberi.
Annika: how long does it takes doctor..?
Dr pai: you know,, I had told you a 2 year period.. But he is recovering fast.. May be 1and a half years.... It's in your hands Mrs. Oberi ... Let's hope for the best...
Shivaay and Annika bid good bye to Dr. Pai... As usual Dr pai made small changes in the dosage of his medicines assuring them to visit after 2 weeks.
