HIKARI'S POV
"JUST LET ME TOUCH YOU DAMN IT!!!" I yelled at Itachi.
"No." he dodged again as I leaped over Kisame to get to him
"WILL YOU TWO CUT IT OUT?!!?" Black Zetsu said
"they wouldn't have to be in thie situation if Itachi-san would let Hikari copy his ability on Genjutsu." White Zetsu said calmly. Exactly!!! that's what I have been trying to do!! I have been desperately trying and failing to copy Itachi's power using my Kekkai Genkai. I have been chasing him for about two hours and I had not landed a single touch.
"goddamnit all!!" I yelled and tried to touch him again but he dodged and dodged and dodged
"Hikari you need strength for tomorrow. cut it out." Pein said as he saw me and Itachi running around the kitchen
"but Pein-san!!!!" He eyed me and I sighed
"fine! so much for torturing the minds of the Konoha ninja.. stupid Uchiha." I mumbled the last part but was loud enough for Itachi to hear
"I heard that."
"I know." I stick out my tongue and went in my room. I need to get ready for tomorrow. I am so excited I don't even know why.. maybe this is what it feels like to get revenge? if it is then I like it.. very much.
I prepared my Katana and some other weapons, bandages just in case and some scrolls. I bit my thumb and did handsigns
"Summoning jutsu!" the poof of smoke disappeared and Kouru stood before me
"yes Hikari?" he said cross sitting in front of me
"I'll be going to Konoha tomorrow, I'l be needing your ice abilities to make my ice jutsus stronger. I plan to do a fusion like with kris and kai." he nodded his head and disappeared.
It was almost night time. I want to get Itachi's power and use the mangekyo sharingan on those Konoha ninjas!! arghhhhhhh!! I tossed and turned on my bed when and idea hit me.
SASUKE
If Itachi won't let me copy his ability. I'll copy Sasuke's. He is not that strong like Itachi so I doubt he'll be able to dodge. A grin was plastered on my face as I went out the room.
"TOBI!!!!" I yelled and out of nowhere he appeared
"yes Hikari-chan?" he said in his normal energetic voice.
"can I borrow your power for a while?" I said giving him my puppy smile. I could see him smile from behind his mask and he nodded. I activated my kekkai genkai. I touched Tobi's hand and once I had my fill of power I let go.
"what do you need it for?" he asked me.
"something." I smiled and he disappeared again. I noticed Itachi eyeing me so I smiled at him.
"you won't lend me your power?" I asked him again and he shook his head
"well then... I'm gonna have to ask your brother." his eyes went wide before he protested I was sucked into a vortex like Tobi's ability.

Pure white. that's all that is in this place. what a dull and boring place. how does Tobi survive here? I waited for hours when I decided to stop and dispell the jutsu. I landed face flat meaning I no longer have control over it.
"ow. that hurt." I mumbled rubbing my forehead. I looked around, I'm in a forest probably weeks away from base. I sighed. Where the hell am I going to... I walked on the rocky path.
"why the hell am I walking?" I said to myself and jumped on tress, I stopped for a while and noticed, shoeprints. these looked like ninja sandals, and I can tell they were headed the same direction I was. I decided to follow the shoe prints and when it disappeared my eyes landed on 4 ninjas resting around a campfire

SASUKE'S POV
It's been almost a month since Hikari disappeared without an explanation. I sighed and glared at the fire in front of us. Karin and Suigetsu were sound asleep and Juugo was close to sleeping
"maybe if you're that worried, we should look for Hikari first before seeking your revenge." I heard Juugo say then yawn. He got in position and seconds later fell asleep too. I am worried, worried as to where she was, what's she's doing and who she's with. But I am also mad, mad that she left without an explanation, mad that she knows something about Itachi that I forgot to ask, mad that I let her go like that again. I decided to go to sleep for tonight and worry about it again tomorrow.
wonder if Juugo was right? should we look for her first? but I am so close to killing Itachi!! I sighed in annoyance and cursed myself for too much thinking. My eyes began to drop and soon I was in dreamland

Where am I?
I looked around to see pure white. Then as a view got closer I took notice
Konoha.
what am I doing here?
"SASUKE!!!!!" I turned around to see Hikari. Kori Hikari, her black hair and red eyes. She was in a red kimono and was followed by Naruto in a orange yukata. she passed by me and ran towards a younger me who was wearing a blue yukata.
"come on!! Kakashi-sensei said we should get ready for the festival!" She cheered happily. I smiled, I remember this memory. It was the night we had fun and had a sleepover at that dog kid's place.
the scene suddenly changed to pure black. then there was Hikari huddled in a corner crying. I wanted to go to her but I know she can't see me. I was about to get close to her when a yellow flash appeared.
"Hikari-chan." It was Naruto.
"Sasuke.. he left didn't he?" she said with a hoarse voice. Oh I see.. this was the day I left.
"Gomen. I couldn't bring him back." Naruto said. we had just fought I guess. he had some bandages around him
"Naruto!" I heard someone from behind me and saw Kakashi
"you should not have left the hospital idiot!" he yelled before smacking Naruto
"but Hikari-chan is.."
"I-I'm fine Naruto.. you should go back to the hospital.. I need time alone." she hugged her knees tight and rested her head on them. when Kakashi and Naruto left she cried again
"baka.. baka uchiha.. why did you have to leave? just when I wanted to tell you how I felt about you. baka..." she mumbled
another change in scene, I was getting dizzy but what flashed before made me re-think about waking up. It was Hikari.. with Itachi.
"I can help you forget the pain my brother has caused you and live a new life." Itachi said and went close to her
"really?"
"but there is no going back. you'll forget EVERYTHING." he emphasized on everything, way to make your point bro.
"I know." she said without hesitation.
"what is this?" A voice said from behind me and I saw Hikari.. Tamaka Hikari, she had green eyes and black hair. wow I'm even dreaming about her past AND present
"I see you are clear on your descision but I ask again.." Itachi said placing a hand on her shoulder
"ARE. YOU. SURE." he said and eyed her, when she nodded he sighed, it seems that Itachi was against it but obliged, why was he even helping her?
"Itachi-san, made me forget... because I wanted to." I looked at the present Hikari and tears were threatening to spill from her eyes.
"you have seen so much pain in Konoha, I will help you forget." Itachi said and looked at her straight in the eyes with his mangekyo sharingan and the past Hikari fell unconcious
"gomen Sasuke, but if you won't protect this girl., then I will." Itachi said before the scene disappeared
"you.. you're the reason I forgot." Hikari the present said and I turned to her, I didn't mean for it to go that way. I was young and stupid and was in search for power,,, I still am but you get my point.
Present Hikari started to fade and as I tried to grab her fading figure I woke up

I woke up and took notice of who was in front of me.
HIKARI
she was here! why is she here? I looked at her and she seem shook up. Her hand was touching mine and her Kekkai Genkai was activated. she was still staring at me with wide eyes then I think she realized I was awake so she bolted up and ran. I ran after her until when we were a few miles away from the camp I managed to pin her to a tree. She looked at me scared. why was she so scared?
HIKARI'S POV
I saw Sasuke's dream. It was Itachi who removed my memories. What happened before? Who was I before? Why did I suddenly Sasuke's dream? What am I going to do now? I'm afraid of what my past is. I'm afraid of experiencing it all over again. I want to remember but I don't want to remember. My mind is so messed up!! I looked up at Sasuke who has me pinned on a tree.
"who am I?" I managed to breathe out. He just stared at me with those onyx eyes and I can't help but be captivated. I had a relationship with Sasuke before, not just a friendship but something more.
"why did you come back?" he asked out of the blue
"I.. needed something.." I looked away
"my sharingan ability? why don't you just ask my brother about that?" he said and I sighed
"your brother is a pain in the ass he won't let me-----" I stopped.
Holy shit
"BINGO." he smirked and I deadpanned... he found out!!! he knows I'm in the Akatsuki!!! damn it!! I struggled out of his grasp but he wouldn't let go.
"why did you lie to me all this time?" he asked me.. no use in lying now.
"because!! you're gonna kill Itachi-san!!" he narrowed his eyes at me and his grip tightened
"where is he?! how can you still care for him when he was the one who took away your memories!?" he yelled at me.
"BECAUSE HE WAS THERE FOR ME WHEN YOU WEREN'T YOU DUMBASS!!!" I yelled back at him and he looked shocked at my outburst but his eyes turned to complete sadness, it showed regret and pain.
"don't... look at me like that." I said looking away, I felt my tears go down my cheeks. This was all too much to take... I had so many confusing thoughts in my mind. I am mad Itachi kept this from me, I know he hides something from me but I didn't expect it to be this much, I felt confused am I gonna hate my own family? they did treat me like family but they did lie.. I am also mad at Sasuke cause part of this was his fault but I also felt that he feels sorry for what he did and he regrets it.
"I'm sorry." he whispered but loud enough for the two of us to hear. I looked at him but I wasn't able to organize my thoughts when he crashed his lips into mine.
SASUKE'S POV
I kissed her. How I wanted to do that in so long!! I felt her soft lips on my own. She didn't kiss me cak at first but then I felt her relax and kiss me back. I let go of my tight hold on her wrists and pulled her closer to me, she seemd shocked but she relaxed and grabbed the back of my head and rested her other hand on my chest. This feels so right. She pulled away for air and when I looked at her she was like 50 shades of red. I rested my head on her shoulder. and hugged her
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, I'm sorry you had to go through this alone." I said and I felt something wet on my cheeks. I looked at her. She was crying again. I dried her tears and kissed her softly.
"gomen." she suddenly said
"I came her to copy your abilities so I can get revenge on the Konoha ninja who killed my family. The Akatsuki may be the reason I lost my memories, but I owe my life to them.. for saving me from the pain and sadness you caused me." she looked at me with sad eyes.
"what could I do to get your forgiveness?"
"DON'T KILL ITACHI." she said and I took a step back
"Hikari..."
"if you don't kill him.. then maybe I could." she said that and disappeared.
I punched the tree in front of me.
now I had a choice
To avenge my clan...
or to win back the woman I love.
HIKARI'S POV
I slumped back my bed and sighed. That kiss... I touched my lips and I felt the heat come to my face.
"what are you smiling at Hiakri-chan?" I jumped up and noticed Tobi was in my room
"the hell are you doing here Tobi?" i asked and I could feel his smile
"oh nothing. just wanted to keep you company." he said and I smiled at him
"thank you, but I think I need to sleep." I yawned.
"okay Hikari-chan!!" he smiled and headed for the door.. why can't he just use his vortex? oh well, I shrugged it off.
"nice kiss scene by the way!!" I heard him shout before closing the door and he chuckled
"TOBI!!!!!"

ITACHI'S POV
Tobi told me all about what he saw. I'm not sure if I should feel comfortable with hearing that but I am happy for them. Hikari.. she doesn't know... but I am close to dying soon. I sighed and rested my head on the table. If I'm gonna die soon might as well help my idiot brother get Hikari back.
Hikari has not talked to me today, maybe cause of what she found out.. does she hate me? she ate breakfast and got ready to leave with Pein. they attack Konoha today and I am still opposed to Hikari going. before leaving she turned half way to me
"I don't hate you Itachi-san.. it was my choice." she smiled and waved before closing the door.
"so she found out huh?" I heard Kisame say and I nodded
"now I need her to re-unite with my brother."
"why do you want her to hook up with your brother so much?" he raised and eyebrow
"Kisame, hook up is such an inappropriate word." Konan came in
"Itachi just wants what's best for his brother and for a the girl she most likely treated like a sister or daugher.. am I right?" Konan smiled at me and I nodded.
"well then.. I'm gonna go pay my brother a visit." I said an disappeared with crows circling around me
I arrived on the spot. Sasuke was walking with his team. when he saw me he immediately got into a battle stance, i raised my hands in defense
"chill brother, it is not our time to fight yet." I said calmly
"I AM THE ONE WHO CHOOSES WHO DIES AND WHO DOES NOT!!" he yelled and lashed out his Katana, I sighed.. he's not gonna listen is he? oh well.. time to play the Hikari card.. although that is what I'm really here for.
"Hikari." at the mention of her name he stood there frozen, finally!!
"she's in Konoha and is going to destroy it with Pein. If you wish to see her again... you'd go now" I said and gave him a stare, he narrowed his eyes at me
"why do you care about me and Hikari? what is she to you? why should I even believe you?" he asked. stupid brother!! just do as I say damn it!!
"because I know what's best for you." I said and disappeared.
SASUKE'S POV
So she really went to destroy Konoha..
"so Sasuke... are we gonna go?" Suigetsu asked. and I zoned out on what to do next
HIKARI'S POV
"shinra tensei!" I heard Pein shout and I with his paths jumped away to avoid the impact.
KONOHA WAS NOW DESTROYED
"can I go now?" I asked landing next to Pein. he looked at me and nodded. I sped off to find a familiar pink headed ninja.
while running on roofs I saw some familiars, that Shikamaru who killed Hidan and that Sai who I fought with before.
"RASENGAN!!" I heard someone say and I saw a brat that looked a lot like Naruto hit one of Pein's paths with a blue ball of energy. heh. they're strong. I then passed by another path who was taking the soul off a black haired woman and the blonde who was with the pinkette before shouted
"Shizune-san!!!" she yelled. I smirked.. I was enjoying this.. why am I enjoying this? oh well.. it felt wrong yet it felt right.
I looked around when I saw a building about to fall. I rushed over and saw...
BINGO.
it was her.. the pinkette, she had just saved a civillian. sweet.. not. when the civillian ran away I made it clear to her that I was there
"hey!" I shouted and she turned to look at me with wide eyes
"Hikari-chan!!" she said. I narrowed my eyes at her. how dare she use my name like she is close to me!!
"you killed Sasori-kun. now I kill you." I said activating my Kekkai Genkai
"Sakura-san." It was Sai
"hello Sai. nice for you to come and rescue but I need her all to myself." I said and bit down my thumb. I did handsigns and slammed my hands on the ground
"summoning jutsu!" I yelled and out came Shiki
"mistress" he bowed
"deal with the black head. the pink one is mine." I said and lashed out my katana and charged towards Sakura. Shiki summoned his scythe and fought with Sai
"Hikari-chan! you don't have to do this!" Sakura said but all her words meant nothing to me as I saw Sasori's dead body everytime I close my eyes.
"shut up!" I yelled and jumped in the air and slashed her while landing down. I managed to make a deep cut on her right shoulder. I did handsigns.
"Ice style: Glass Needles!!!" I shouted and glass type icecles dropped down from the sky. she dodged a few but were hit in several places, she had chakra in her hand as she charged at me, if that hits me I'm gonna fly. I dodged her incoming punched and she hit a building causing it to fall.
"Sakura-san!" I heard another new voice. this time it was a boy with long hair and pale white eyes
"Neji-san." she said holding on her injured shoulder, the boy looked at me and his eyes went wide
"Kori Hikari." he said and I glared at him.
"Byakugan!" he shouted and had this weird vein things on his eyes.. okay I know I am in a tight situation but I can't help but show a disgusted face. i mean veins in the eyes? ew man. he smiled
"you always hated it when I use my Kekkai genkai." he said and I rolled my eyes
"yeah well.. I don't know much about myself so who's counting?" I said and did a battle stance. It was two against one. Sai was away with Shiki, wonder where they went? I was low on chakra now and I could tell the other two were too.
"she has low chakra but if she hits us again with her sword we're done for." Neji panted. So I am advantage.. sort of. I bit my thumb again which surprised them
"summoning jutsu!" I yelled and poof came the Kitsune triplets.
"wow neechan you look tired." Kris said
"ugh. thanks for stating the obvious." I said glared at Kris.
"I need you guys to kill that boy. Kai.. Fuse with me." I said and they transformed a little bigger than before. I fused with Kai and chased after Sakura who was running towards the open field.
I followed her only to find Pein with Naruto. I landed next to Pein
"that was fast." he said
"I'm not done. she escaped." I growled and stared at Naruto.. he was the one who killed Kakuzu. I felt Kai's fur go up and I growled
"Hikari.. the 9 tails is mine." Pein said
"H-Hikari-chan?!" Naruto yelled looking at me. I growled at him and I mustered Kai's chakra and mine to the throat and we breathed out a large wave of fire. I moved my head and followed Naruto's escaping form. He was bruised on the side but I couldn't care less. I was about to do it again when Pein stopped me
"find your target." he said and I growled but left. I ran to the streets.. or what's left of it when I heard Pein do the Shinra tensei again. I jumped high and felt Kris and Kei back to my body
"what happened?" Kris asked, we were still fused
"a little warning on the shinra tensei guys.." Kei said and I rolled my eyes. Kids.
I stopped and saw Sakura, Shikamaru, that blonde girl, that fat kid, Neji, a girl with buns on her head and a boy with a huge dog.
"Hikari-chan!" Sakura yelled and everyone looked at me
"Kori Hikari?" Shikamaru asked and Sakura nodded. I dispelled my jutsu and one of Peins paths was next to me and Kris. Sai suddenly appeared and I felt Shiki land next to me.
"he looks terrible" I looked at Sai who had huge slash marks all over his body
"he's good. but I'm better." he smirked
"you got work to do." he teased and I glared at him. I bit my thumbs and fingers and summoned all of them.
"Kouru. now!" I held out my hand and fused with Kouru, he was in my body and I had half my green eye and half his black eye.
"the rest of you spread out." everyone hand their own battles and I was still going for the kill on Sakura.
"now!" I yelled and dropped my hands on the floor
"Ice style: Ice coffins." Ice came out of hands and slithered to the bodies of the Konoha ninja like snakes.. soon everyone was encassed in an ice coffin.
I walked up to Sakura letting go of the fusion.
"before I kill you... I would like you to see pain." I activated the sharingan I obtained from Sasuke and tortured Sakura
"STOP IT!!!" that dog kid and blonde shouted.
"shut your trap!" I yelled and Kei slahed his face
"Kiba!!" the blonde yelled
Sakura screamed bloody murder. I laughed maniaclly at her screaming figure
"Hikari-chan.. why are you doing this? this isn't you!!" the blonde shouted
"shut up!! you!! all of you killed me!! killed me and my family!!! I knew nothing but pain when I came in this village!! now it's your turn to experience it." I said and then I felt something go thud. I looked behind me stopping the genjustu. It was Pein's path.. it ... died? then that must mean!!!
"NO!!" I shouted and dispelled all my jutsus and ran where I last saw him, he was there all battered and bruised. Naruto was gone.
"gomen. Hikari." he said to me as i approached him
"No.. not you..." I said tears spilling down my face. he smiled
"these people, they'll take care of you.. you can go back.. if you want."
"no! i won't go back!! the Akatsuki is my home.. I can't turn my back on you guys." I said shaking my head
"you won't.. you'll be returning to your original home.." he coughed and I asked him to stop talking but he won't listen
"listen to me.. we took you in cause Itachi said so.. we didn't like you before but now you are family.. and remember..." he started to close his eyes
"We want what's best for you." he mumbled before closing his eyes completely. I cried and cried and noticed it was raining.. Kakuzu, Hidan, Sasori and now Pein was gone. I felt a paper on my shoulder,.. Konan..
Now that Nagato's dreams are fulfilled and passed on to someone new, I will take my leave in Akatsuki. Follow your heart Hikari, it'll lead you straight to your designated path and it will answer all your questions. It's your turn to take care of those idiots left now. I will see youa round. ---- Konan
I gripped tight on the note and hid it in my pocket.
"DAMN IT!!!!" I shouted and punched the ground. I called Kouru again and ordered him to make a glass coffin for Pein.
I stood up and looked up at the sky.. the rain falling on my face.
"Hikari-chan." I heard a familiar voice and turned to see Naruto and the other Konoha ninja
"Naruto.." I said. I want to go back.. to figure out what I had lost.. but I cannot go back.. not after what I have done.. and I can't leave Itachi alone..
"come back to us." he said and opened his arms for a hug. everyone looked at him shocked but looked at me and they all had the same pleading and longing eyes like Naruto's
"I'm sorry. I can't.. not after everything I had done." I said
"but no one will hold that against you!" Sakura shouted. I shook my head
"I will hold it against myself." I turned around to walk away
"Hikari-chan!" Naruto shouted again I turned to look at him
"know that you are always welcome here, you and Sasuke." he smiled and I felt a bit of happiness in my heart
"I will keep that in mind. Thank you.. little fox." I smiled and disappeared.
