Y/N's POV~
"Manager, you've got a conference at 2:30 with some of the clients," I said glancing at the clock which read 2:21.
"Y/N, calling me Mike is fine," the 24 year old guy said looking away from his laptop. I cringed.
"Sorry, now about that conference..."
He smiled, and I smiled back.
He was absolutely hot.
"How's your husband?" he suddenly asked. My smile faded.
Now did I tell him the fantasy or the truth?
"As usual," I said unsure. He got up from his seat.
"Such a shame you can't divorce," he said.
Ahh...the truth.
"Yes," I said shrugging. He started walking towards the door and glanced at me.
"I wish I was in his place, I would have been a better care taker." And with that he left, while I stood there processing.
Did he just say that?
Canteen~
I took my cup of latte and walked along with Cindy over to one of the tables. We took a seat in the corner table facing the windows.
"You look a bit pale," she said as soon as we sat down. I took a long sip of my drink then exhaled and stared down.
"Lately, I think I've been imagining stuff," I said.
"Y/N, I was wondering, Are you and manager Mike a thing?" Cindy asked.
"Of course not. He has a girlfriend. Why," I asked.
"His girlfriend broke up with him, Didn't you know?"
I shook my head.
"Never mind," she said drinking her tea.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing, he told me some...things," she said.
"What? You have to tell me."
"You'll find out," she said starting to get up.
"Wait...tell me," I insisted. She grinned.
"Have a nice day."
Seriously?
I groaned and buried myself in my palms.
