Hoor
I sat on my seat and secured the belt around me.Unfortunately my boss, Mr Riyad Omar khan was next to me.I m really furious on him.How could he insult me like that!..he not only commented on my eating habits but also insulted me in front of the security officer.That moment I wish I could strangle him to death but unfortunately I don't have any interest in killing people.And Killing Riyad...no way...how was I supposed to complete this task when the man I m targeting is so broad,muscular not to forget handsome and attractive...hey what m I thinking..since when did I begin to praise Riyad?..
"Hoor"he called out
"What?"I answered annoyed...gosh can't he stop asking his unstoppable questions...I feel as if I m an interviewer
"Are you really pregnant?"He asked the unfathomable query and I just kept quite
Silence spread in the air suffocating me..What shall I say him...He asked this question out of blue that it took me sometime to process it in my brain.
I looked at him and discovered his charcoal black eyes gazing at me intensely
"I..I..."I wasn't able to respond with his intense gaze on me..then I went silent..Come on Hoor!!..you can talk..don't be scared
I studied his face and the noticable variation was his expression grew from confused to furious.He might be getting wrong assumptions.I need to clear this thing before it's too late.But why I m unable to tell him?.
"WHY?"he asked with so much pain that I got tears in my eyes
"Why did you hide it Hoor?"he said and the tears dropped from my orbs
No hoor tell him the truth.whats wrong with you..why are you stammering unnecessarily...You have done nothing bad..just tell him!
"No Riyad you are wrong....excuse me"I said running to the washroom avoiding him.
Closing the door behind me I took a deep breath to calm down.But it didn't help me so I desperately searched the sling bag and taking out the bottle of pills I took one...
"It will help...It will work definitely" I murmured consoling myself
In fewer time I was back to normal.I felt relieved by splashing cool water on my face.Patting my head to arrange the messy hair and blinking my eyes repeatedly to avoid the redness I returned to my seat. Riyad was constantly staring me and I felt immensely uncomfortable.Shifting in my place I forcibly eyed the sky looking out of the window so that I could ignore him.
I busied myself thinking and understanding my innervoice,thoughts and trying to conclude the pros and cons never realising the time passed in speed of light.Feeling drowsy I gradually closed my eyes.The effect of medicines has started..With the last thought in my mind I slept.

Waking up from my beauty sleep I noticed that my head was laid on Riyads arm.Lifting my head I found him looking at me.Well that was embarrassing!.The person I was ignoring sometime ago has been the one on who's arm I was sleeping. Taking support of his arm I adjusted myself properly on my seat.Then stretched my arms to refresh myself.He rubbed his arm shouting
"Did you think me as your pillow that you rested your heaviest head on my arm?"
This man correctly know how to get on my nerves
"Oh!So my head is heavy for you..Then what is the use of having these biceps when you can't even bear your girl's head on your arm"I said touching his biceps but he jerked my hand away
"Hey don't touch"he told but am I the one to obey him?...Nah!
"Poor Riyad...such a weak man"I commented pinching his arm playfully because I love irritating him.
"Aah! woman what's gotten into your rotten head...why do you ..."he stopped himself and looked directly into my eyes.His expression says that he recalled something.
"Did you just claim that you are my girl!"He said more like questioned me and I remembered my grave mistake.
'Oh!So my head is heavy for you..Then what is the use of having these biceps when you can't even bear your girl's head on your arm'
"No it just slipped out of my mouth...It was unintentional..I.."I tried to explain but this man has taken oath to interrupt and annoy me..huh
"Aha!...I get that..Miss Hoor Ali secretly likes me and desires to be my girl"he said teasing me
Like seriously I like Riyad...what a bad joke!
"No sir you are over thinking because there's nothing such as LIKING and DESIRE for you in me."I clearly said
"Well..I can see that"he said casually
"See what and where?"I asked in angry tone
"I see it in your eyes"he said narrowing his black eyes gazing at mine hazel one's
I moved closer to him challenging
"What do you see?"I asked angered and annoyed like hell
"I see.."he said and I observed his eyes becoming softer and warmer.
"I see.."he said more softly and lovingly looking at me like I m the most beautiful woman on the planet
I see INNOCENCE,
I see FEAR
I see STRENGTH
I see PAIN
I see CONFIDENCE
I see LOVE

I SEE YOU"He whispered caressing my face and I felt each and every emotion he whispered to me.He smiled lovingly at me and I couldn't help but return the smile wishing this moment to stop here itself and never end.
"The food is here my lady..."someone said and we both broke apart.
"Oh no!!..Guys please forgive me.I just disturbed your moment."said the air hostress with a guilty face and we both looked awkwardly.
"It's fine!"I said
"Well,here's a mouth watering Sirloin sandwich made with top sirloin steak,white caramelized onions,white cheddar,baby spring greens and horseradish creme on the roll with quinoa and raisin salad.Let me inform you that its very healthy for the new born.Hope you guys have a good day.."she described the delicious dish and left making me want to burst out in tears and as I looked towards Riyad I knew that a sarcastic comment was on the way to approach me.
"Come on Hoor eat this sandwich
...its very good for the baby"he said in sarcasm
As I looked down my stomach growled in hunger.Taking a bite of sirloin sandwich I moaned.Then I heard Riyad comment
"UNBELIEVABLE..."
Maybe telling them I m pregnant didn't turn out to be that bad...after all I got my desired meal..yummy!

I m really bored reading this story.A yawn escaped my mouth and I closed the book.Gawking here to here I discovered a couple holding each other's hands and comfortably sleeping.The memory of past resurfaced when
FLASHBACK
"I was actually planning for this since your wedding but you know the last project was really important and your presence was required to complete it .So as soon as the project finished here I m to reveal my surprise...I thought to disclose it to you both but as Hoor is asleep so it's better for me not to disturb her"said Fahad
"But what was the need to do this brother...I don't think I can go..."Riyad interrupted him telling
"No buts and ifs bro.. you are taking a break from work and celebrating your wedding and that's final.. At least think of Hoor man you haven't given her time since nikkah but now you guys have a great opportunity to enjoy and relish yourselves.."fahad adviced
"Who will manage the office..?"Riyad begin to talk but Fahad stopped him saying
"Come on Riyad..I m here right then I will manage the work at office and it's just a matter of few days,after that you will be back..So don't act stubborn and agree to my offer because you know sometimes it's better to let go of something's and to welcome something great+ new in life..Life will become more happier and wonderful"expressed Fahad
"Bro it seems your lecturing me..guess what I can't step back now..I will be going inshallah"said Riyad smiling and Fahad hugged him
"I..?"asked Fahad teasing his brother
"I mean WE..whatever"told Riyad grinning
"By the way whats with you having deep analyses on life,love and happiness?"asked Riyad with a raised eyebrow because he knew that there was definitely something which his dearest cousin was hiding from him.
"What..?..It's nothing bro.."said Fahad controlling his smile
"Riyad didn't try find about the sudden change in his cousins behaviour.As for now he was sure that there's some missing link in the story.

After a refreshing cold shower Hoor went to grab her mobile from the bed that's when her attention caught a white coloured envelope binded with a red ribbion.She thought that it was a gift from her husband as a way of apologizing to her for Arshad's immoral behaviour.She chirped in excitement and hastily opened the envelope only to find two tickets for Dubai.She understood that they would be soon going for a honeymoon.She couldn't help but express her contentment by dancing and twirling like a child getting her favourite chocolate.
All the sadness and anger of last night vanished in a second and Riyad involuntary smiled looking at her.He deliberately kept tickets of honeymoon on bed hoping they would change her mood. A feeling of contentment spread throughout his heart witnessing her dancing.He murmurs to himself 'She is really one of a kind.She is not the one who gets satisfied by show off or other rudimentary activities.This is the innocence of my Hoor.'
Realizing what he just whispered,he says'Seriously Riyad...MY HOOR..where did that come from? what's happening to you?...'
He clears his throat and that moment hoor wished she could freely jump in his arms,hug him tight,kiss him on his cheek and say 'Thank you Riyad"But Hoor wasn't the one to easily forget.She still thought it was mandatory for Riyad to apologise for his friend's act or at least console her.But last night as she left to the balcony for taking fresh air he left the room and never apologized.
She immediately put the envelope aside and was walking away when
"Hoor"Riyad called out
"Ya"she answered turning to him
"I m..hey...I really felt very bad yesterday..you know..Actually Arshad is not that type of guy..he when he hugged you trust me I felt to break every bone of his body.But ...You know I couldn't do that...it was bad insane...I..."Ritad said trying to apologise to her but that was one of the weaknesses of Riyad.He sucks at explanation and apologizing.
"What do you actually want to say Riyad?Are you here to take your friend's side and blame me for the blunder?"asked hood unable to get him
"No hoor it's not that..I apologize to you for his behavior."said Ritad in lower voice
"There was no need to Riyad.Moreover it's not your fault."said Hoor
But Riyad wasnt the one to keep quite.He approached Hoor and took her hands in his saying
"Hoor your taking me wrong.I wasnt taking Arshad's side it's just that I find it hard to apologise to someone.Its my weakness"he said softly and hoors eyes widened listening him.This was the first time he was talking to her about his weakness.He wasn't treating her as child,he was accepting her as his wife.She could see a glimmer of hope in his shining eyes of a promising future.
"And hence I was blabbering nonsense trying to find words.I know you are hurt by his actions and truth to be told I'm hurt too.I never expected my best friend to treat my wife in this manner.But I promise you Hoor I will never let that happen again.I Promise To Protect You.."he said and suddenly hoors eyes became teary.No one had ever told her anything like that.Her father might have said it but she couldn't remember now.She again thanked the Almighty for blessing her with this pious man.
"Hey..why are you crying?"said Riyad wiping her tears
"No..I..my "she couldn't s speak as emotions were clogged up in her mind
'There's no need.I understand"says Riyad hugging her tightly as the feeling of posesssiveness engulfed him.
