"Happy birthday, sweetie!" Jaemin's mom brought me in a tight hug.
"Happy birthday." My mom pulled me in a hug next. She whispered the next part. "Jaemin's birthday is August 13. It's in around eight months."
"Thank you." I whispered back to her. She pulled away and gave me a smile.
"Well, we should be leaving." Jaemin's dad said. "Ready for me to slaughter you in poker, Woojin?"
"Now, now," My dad chuckled. "I've won in poker for the past four games. You can't beat my streak."
"We'll see." Jaemin's dad winked. "Well, you two better start to go home. Do you guys want someone to bring you home?"
"No," Jaemin shook his head. "I drove us here."
"Drive safely." My mom said.
"I will, thank you." Jaemin bowed, grabbing my hand. "Bye!"
"Thank you for the birthday wishes!" I called after the parents while Jaemin was dragging me. He dragged me towards his car and opened the passenger door. "Why are you in a rush?"
"Just because I forgot to give you your gift last night." Jaemin admitted as he entered into the driver's seat. He pulled down the seatbelt and noticed that I didn't have mine on. "You better buckle up. It's gonna be a long ass ride."
"Are you taking that from Mark?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Hey, it's a pretty catchy catchphrase." Jaemin said. "Who wouldn't use it?"
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes. I grabbed my phone out of my purse and began to read the new texts.

"Aww," I said as Jaemin pulled up in the parking garage.
"What?" Jaemin asked, looking over my shoulder to see my phone.
"Mark's so cute!" I commented, showing the picture of Mark's aegyo.

"You're in the group chat that Lucas made." I told him. We got out of the car and walked towards the elevator. Once we got out of the parking garage, we entered inside the apartment building and got on that elevator to Jaemin's apartment.

"Have you finished reading?" I asked Jaemin when I finished the group chat. It took a while before he looked up.
"Yeah." He sighed. "I can't believe that Lucas really made a group chat for this."
"Honestly, though." I agreed, putting down my phone. "So, what was your gift?"
"What time is it?" Jaemin asked.
"You have a phone in your hand." I answered him with the most monotone voice. "Use it."
"Oh, right." Jaemin said, realizing that he had a phone. He checked the time. "It's too late!"
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Next time." He winked. I could feel my face heat up. "Aww, are you blushing?"
"N-no." I stuttered, turning away from him. I felt his arms wrap around my waist.
"You are!" Jaemin said, snuggling his head in the crook of my neck. "You're so cute when you blush." My heart raced, and I froze. I pulled out my phone to check the time.
"Jaemin, it's getting late..." I trailed off.
"No." Jaemin pouted. "I refuse to let go of you."
"But I need to take a shower and dress into more comfortable clothes." I told him. He let go of me.
"Fine." He sighed. "But hurry up."
"I'm gonna make sure to take my time, alright?" I asked him, getting up from the couch.
"No!" Jaemin tugged at the bottom of my dress. "If you do, then I will bust through the door and take a shower with you!" My face turned red at his answer.
"You wouldn't." I said. "That would be embarrassing!"
"I would obviously toss a towel on top of you." Jaemin gave me a face that said 'duh'. "And I would wear something protecting me too."
"Sure." I rolled my eyes, walking to the bathroom. I shut the door, locked it, double checked that it was locked and turned on the shower. I took off all of my clothes and entered inside of the hot, steaming water that was coming out of the shower head.
