Lance P.O.V
After realizing what happened I sprint to the water and start swimming as fast as I can. I reach the middle of the lake where she was hit and she was no where to be found. I look all around me and then realized she could've been knocked unconscious so I swan to the bottom of the lake. Unfortunately it was dark and about a 10 feet depth. I swam around and looked for as long as I could. After no luck I hoped I could go find someone to help so I swam back to shore. I am about to run to get a lifeguard when I see Elizabeth walking back from the truck.
"Oh my god" I say as I run to her and grab her into a hug. "Baby" I say as I hug her. "What happened" I ask as I let her go. "Well I almost got hit by that boat but then I swam under it last minute and walked back to our spot." She explains. "I thought you drowned" I say. "Nope" she says. "Let's leave, I have had enough of this lake for one day" I say. We pack up everything and go back to the hotel room.
Elizabeth P.O.V
We get back to the hotel room and decide to go to a Italian food place for dinner. I take a shower then use the hotel blow dryer then wrapped toilet paper around it so it would be curly when I took the toilet paper out of my hair. Then I put on the dress that I got which was red and tight. I put on red lipstick and mascara then took my hair out and it was actually pretty curled considering I used toilet paper.
I step out of the bathroom, "I'm ready" I say to lance. He looks up from his phone and just stares at me. "Too much" I ask. "Not at all" he says and grabs my hand. "Let's go" he says then we go to his truck. "I read that this place was fancy" I say to lance as he is driving. "It is" he says. "Well this should be fun" I say. "Yes it should" lance says then continues to drive.
After a 15 minute drive we reach the restaurant at 7:00. Lance opens the door for me then we go into the restaurant. "How many" the waiter asks. "Just 2" lance says then we are lead to a booth and given a menu. "What can I get for you to drink" the waiter asks. "Water" I say, "coke" lance says. "Coming right up" the waiter says then walks away. We both look at the menu and then we are brought bread sticks and our drinks. "Thank you" I say as the waiter gives us the bread and drinks then he walks away. Me and lance dive into the breadsticks almost immediately. "What are you gonna order" I ask lance. "Probably chicken parmesan, what about you" he says. "Fettuccine Alfredo" I say. We talk a little and order our food when the waiter comes back.
"So what are you plans when you get back" lance asks me. "I plan to find my mom and I am hoping this break will help give my mind a chance to chill before I get back into working" I say. "What will you do once you find your mom" lance asks. "I don't know, I think that it will be a very hard decision but whatever happens, happens." I say then take a sip of my water. "What do you want to do tomorrow" lance asks. "Whatever you want, I don't care" I say. "Ok, I will figure something out" he says. Then our waiter gives us our food. "Refill" He asks us. "Yes please" I say then he pours more water into my cup from a glass pitcher. "Thank you" I say, "your welcome" the waiter says then asks "are you ready to order", and me and lance both say "yes" . "I would like the Chicken Parmesan" lance says, "and I would like the Fettuccine Alfredo" I say. "Coming right up" the waiter says then walks towards the kitchen.
After a 20 minute wait we get our food and every second was worth it. My Fettuccine Alfredo had an amazing homemade cream sauce and was sprinkled with fresh parsley and Parmesan. "Thank you" I say as the waiter sets down my food on front of me. After giving me and lance our food the waiter walks away and leaves us to eating our food.
We eat our food then order dessert, we get chocolate cake to share. "So what have you been doing when we're not talking" I ask lance. "Well I have been working cases in the area and then I will look into your moms case to see if I can find anything" he says. "Well thank you" I say to lance, "no need to thank me" lance says as he takes a bite of his Chicken Parmesan. We continue to talk about random things until we finish our food, "do you wanna order chocolate cake" lance asks. "Of course I do" I say back to him. We order the chocolate cake and our waiter brings it to us and we both dig in. "So what do you want to talk about" lance asks. "I don't know, why don't we just start asking each other random questions" I say. "Ok, what is your favorite snack" he asks. "Popcorn" I respond. "That's reasonable lance says. "Well what is your favorite place" I ask. "There is a spot in the woods in Kentucky has a beautiful waterfall and it is a very peaceful place" Lance says, "that sounds beautiful" I say. "It is very" lance says. We continue asking each other questions until we finish the chocolate cake. Lance pays for dinner and we go back to the hotel.
We walk in and I change into my pajamas which is a pair of plaid long pants and a black spaghetti strap tank top. I throw my hair into a bun then walk my face and brush my teeth. "I'm going go to bed" I say to lance when I walk into his room. "Ok babe good night, love you" lance says. "Love you to" I say then I go back to my room. I call Dean "hello" he says when he answers. "Hi, I just wanted to call and say goodnight" I say. "Ok, goodnight Elizabeth" he says, "also you better be staying in your room" he continues. "Of course" I say. "Good, call me in the morning" he says. "I will, goodnight and I love you dad" I say then hang up the phone. I put my phone on the night stand and turn on the Tv. "What am I doing" I say out loud then walk into lances room and jump into his bed. "What are you doing" he asks. "What does it look like" I say as I cuddle up to him. "Would dean be mad if he finds out" lance asks. "How will he find out" I ask. "Good point" he says. "And besides I just want to watch a movie or Tv show then I will go back to my room" I say. I put on Law and Order SVU and then I guess I fell asleep because I woke up and I was in my bed but I didn't walk to my bed.
I look at the clock and see that it was 4:00am and I decided I would go walk along the shoreline of the lake and watch the sun rise. I decide not to take my phone so I can live in the moment and then I walk to the lake. After the sun has risen halfway I decided to go back to my hotel room, which was at about 7:00. I walk into the lobby and see lance. "Hey babe" I say as I walk up to him. "Oh my goodness where were you" he asks in a panicked voice. "I went to go look at the sunrise, why?". "Because I woke up and I went to check on you and you weren't in your bed and you didn't have you phone" he says. "Whoops, sorry" I say. "Well anyways we should go get ready because I hear the hotel has an amazing buffet" lance says. "You don't have to tell me twice" I say, then start walking towards the elevator.
I throw on a pair of jean shorts and a white shirt. I put on mascara, and lipstick, then I curl my hair. "Let's go" I say as I walk out of the bathroom and into lances room. I look at lance and realize that me and him are unintentionally matching. He has on a white shirt and a pair of jean shorts that are just above his knee. "Are we really gonna be that couple" I ask. "I'm hungry so yes" he says then grabs my hand and we walk to the elevator. We go down to the lobby and walk to the restaurant that's in the hotel.
"How many" the waitress asks, "2" lance says. "Right his way" she says and leads us to a table that has a view is the lake. "Can I get you something to drink" the waitress asks. "Coffee and cup of water" lance says. "Same for me but can I make the coffee a iced coffee" I ask. "Yes mam, I will be right back with your drink" she says hen walks away. "Mam" lance says because he knows I hate being called mam. "Do I really look that old" I ask. "No I think she was just trying to be respectful" lance says. "I guess... anyways how did I end up in my bed this morning" I ask. "I carried you because you fell asleep after 10 minutes" lance says. "Makes sense, but aren't I heavy" I say. "Not even close to heavy" lance says as the waitress walks up to us with our drinks. "There are plates on the end of the tables, feel free to put whatever you want on your plate". The waitress says then walks away. Me and lance both stand up and get our plates. I put grits, sausage and gravy with biscuits and some fruit. Lance gets toast, scrambled eggs, a blueberry muffin, and some fruit. We both ate our food while having small talk. "We will probably leave tonight at about 7:00" lance says. "Sounds good to me" I say.
We finished our breakfast and drove to town. We found a small town to walk around in, we wandered around and looked in a few shops. I found a couple things I liked and lance did the same. After walking around for a bit we decided to go back to the hotel so we could chill on the lake.
When we got to the hotel we put our bags down and put on our bathing suits. I bought a new one which was red, the top tied at the back while the bottoms tied at the side. I threw on my new white bathing suit cover. Lance also bought red swim trunks which he put on along with a white shirt. We decide to just eat snacks for lunch.
We chill at the lake until about 5:00 then go back to the hotel. I go and take a shower while lance packs. After I get out I blow dry my hair and throw it into a messy bun. I also put in a pair of adidas shorts with a grey tank top then throw a hoodie on over that. After I get dressed lance takes a shower while I pack. We are both ready to go at about 6:45. Lance packs the truck while I sign out of the hotel. After signing out I jump into the truck and we leave.
"Let's stop at McDonald's for food" I say. "You read my mind" lance replies. He pulls up to the drive through, "What do you want" he asks me. "A 20 piece nugget, large fries, and a large iced coffee." I say. "Hello and welcome to McDonald's what can I get for you" the server says. "Can I get a 20 piece nugget, 1 big Mack, 2 large fries, and 2 large iced coffees." Lance says. "Your total will be $22.57, please drive up to the first window" she says. Lance drives up to the first window "Your total is $22.57" lance then hands her his card and she scans it, a few minutes later she hands us our food. We start driving back as the sun sets. We both start eating our food and singing along to the radio.
After a few hours of driving we finally made it back to the motel. I grab my bags out of lances truck, "Well this is good bye" lance. "Shut up, that's to cliche" I say. We hug and I walk towards the motel door. "I will text you in the morning" I say then lance gets in his truck. I knock on the motel door and then Sam opens it. "Welcome back, Deans showering because he didn't think you would be back so soon" Sam says as I walk into the motel room. I put my stuff down and sit on the couch that's against the wall.
I go on my phone and a few minutes later dean walks out. "Oh your back" deans says as he looks at me. "Yeah, I'm glad to be back" I say. Sam and Dean turn on the TV and both go sit at the table. I guess I was really tired because within 5 minutes I nodded off and fell asleep.
———————————————————————————Hello, I know I haven't updated in a very very very long time and I have no good reasoning except that I was inspired. I'm going to try to do better but I cannot promise anything. Sorry if the endings in the little rushed I didn't really know how to edit but I really needed to put out a new chapter. So I hope you guys enjoy this chapter I'm really going to try to find some new inspiration and keep pushing it update soon as I can make it good.
