"Shownu.. I need a moment with you..." The professor called out to Shownu before he entered the class
"Yes prof?"
"I got your text saying Haneul won't be able to participate in today's class but why is she at her sit?"
"I told her to go back home and rest but she refused and I don't want you to wake her up for class so you can just proceed with today's lesson comfortably... That's why I texted you that she won't be able to participate in today's class as she is not feeling well."
"Okay... But if the principal is out walking I will be scolded for having students sleeping in class... I know it sounds like it comes right from a High school principal even though this is college... I'm not kidding. The principal in this college are out there cutting salaries for Professor's and In-charge who are 'under-performing'..." The professor said in shaky voice tones nervous that the principal might appear out of nowhere.
"I understand but is there a way for Haneul to rest? I really don't think it's a good idea to wake her up. She might exert herself and you might still end up getting into trouble if something happens to her, right prof?"
"True that...." The prof was speechless but Shownu quickly found a way to keep Haneul in class at the same time covering for the professor.
Shownu switched sits with the person who sits beside her temporarily and he managed to hide Haneul with his nicely build body. Everything went smooth from the start of the lesson until the end. The class ended quickly. People quickly emptied the hall that the class was held. What was left in the hall is Haneul, Shownu and the sound of air-con blowing hard to chill the hall from heat wave.
Haneul aroused from Shownu's deep stare right in front of her face. Slowly she opened her eyes only to be taken aback from another pair of eyes staring back at her
"Hhhh! Ya!!!" She screamed and fell down under the table
"Ya! I'm sorry!! Are you okay Haneul??" Shownu squat to help Haneul up
But Haneul accidentally kicked Shownu's legs which caused him to fall above her. The two gazed at each other quietly.
As Shownu leaned more towards Haneul, she didn't move. As he got closer to her face, her eye's blinked and it showed Shownu that, she is also aware of the situation that the both of them are in. Haneul and Shownu turned red as both of their body were pretty close to touching each other but Shownu manage to avoid that by quickly supporting himself with one hand from falling on Haneul who is much smaller than him. Shownu leaned closer but quickly pushing himself up and giving Haneul a hand.
"Come here..." He put out his hand while facing the other way. Haneul grab hold of his hand to be pulled up. The soft touch and the warmness from Haneul's hands turned Shownu into a stone.
"W...Wh...Why... Did you... turn away?...." Haneul softly asks
"W..Wh...Wha...t.... d... do... you... mean...???" Shownu stuttered
"You...wanted..... to...... Never mind...." Haneul let go of her hands and stand on her own, took her bag and slowly ran away from the hall
Shownu stood still and speechless as he watches her run out of the hall.
Is she talking about.... under... The... table??? If... she was.... waiting.... for me... to kiss... her... Does... that mean... she... liked... Me too????? Is that... what she meant???? But she is sick... Does her true self come out when she's sick?? That's too cute...... I can't!!

Shownu quickly chased after Haneul who isn't far off
"Haneul ah, wait up! I'll send you home..."
Haneul got caught blushing and she just froze and looked at Shownu.
"Haneul ah? Are you okay?" Shownu shyly makes eye contact with her
"Ah... Ah yeah... I am..." She blushed and looked away
Shownu let go of his stare and the two blushing souls walked their way to Shownu's bike. Shownu put on the helmet for Haneul
"Buckle and done! Is it too heavy for your head? You're still having fever, right?"
"No... It's... F... fine..." She stuttered
Shownu rode off and exited to the highway heading towards Haneul's apartment
The wind from riding the motorbike filled the silence and awkwardness between the two. A few minutes into it, Haneul's fever started kicking in again. Haneul slowly lean behind Shownu's back and tighten the clench on Shownu's shirt to support herself from falling. Shownu looked at the side mirror blushing and felt the warm temperature of her body leaning against him.
Shownu exited the highway and stopped by the red-light. He slowly turns and asked if Haneul is okay. Haneul nodded and continue leaning onto Shownu. Shownu holds both Haneul's hands and pull it as if she is hugging him instead of clenching onto Shownu's shirt. Both their hearts beats quickly enough and the time went even faster. Quickly they reached their destination.
It felt too fast... I should've gone slower... But she is sick... It's a good thing that its fast...
Shownu positively told himself and control his mind from going crazy.
"Thank you, Shownu for sending me home... I appreciate it a lot... Thank you!" She smiled and walked off
Before she was able to walk off Shownu pulled her and put his arms around her waist. Haneul reacted and weakly pushing him but lost to his strength
"Shownu ah... Let me go..."
"I can't let you leave." Shownu sounded cheeky
"I'm not feeling well...Let me go, please" Awkwardly Haneul pouts
"I can't let you leave with my extra helmet on..." Shownu lightly patting the helmet
Haneul gasped and quickly took off the helmet to pass it back to Shownu then hurried her way back home.
"Haneul ah..." Shownu quickly grabbed her hands again
"Ah?" Haneul taken aback by his strong pull
"I'm sorry......"
"Sorry for?" Haneul scratched her head
"I'm sorry for...... just now.... the........" Shownu showing her the 'kiss' gestures to explain instead of using words from being shy
Haneul blushed as she understands what he's trying to say. Haneul nods and waited for his explanation but the situation quickly became awkward for the both of them. Shownu took his breath and express his intentions from pulling her back to him before she leaves.
"I'm sorry if I made you upset about just now...But, I hope you understand me... It's not that I don't like you or that I don't want to K.....i..*Showing her sign language instead of saying the word 'kiss'* you... I just respect you and I don't want to be doing it just because I want it... Please don't take it to heart... Just know that I really like you and I respect your personal space, Haneul ah..." Shownu blushed looked away from being shy
Haneul nodded but couldn't answer Shownu.
"A... h... I'm sorry if I ever made you uncomfortable like that. But Shownu ah... I don't feel so good... I'll get going now..." She ran into a closing lift door but manage to flash her way into it
"Ha..Han..------" He stopped calling her after the lift door closes
I was about to ask you to be my girlfriend... I am that selfish... I even forget that you're sick and recklessly bringing up my intentions as if you thought of me the same way... SHOWNU U BABO!!!!!
Shownu scolded himself in his head while disappointedly leaving Haneul's apartment

"Mr. Jaebum, how are you feeling today?" The doctor did checks on Jaebum
"Yes Doc... Much better." Jaebum answered with a smile on his face
"Ah, that's very good. It's only been two days since your accident but you're already shining and looks ready to go home."
"I heal pretty fast since I am a kid if you ask my mom. Can I go home already since you said it that way?"
"Oh, not yet... We have to monitor you a day or two to find that out. The pain comes and go does it not?"
"Yeah...A Little bit."
"Then yes, it's for sure that you have to stay here a day or two. We'll let you know." The doctor smiled and left the room
Jaebum was happy that he is healing well but he still feels pretty bumped without his best friend. He tried calling Haneul but she didn't pick up. Jaebum doesn't know that she's sick. So, he assumed that Haneul didn't want to talk to him because he cut her off the day before and didn't try to contact her. He switched off his phone then layed down to sleep.
Jaebum awakened by the nurse hours later as it is time for him to consume his medicine and it's his dinner time. Jaebum slowly sat up and letting out a little scream from the pain of his fractured back reacting to the movement.
"Argh!"
"Hyung! Need my help?" Changkyun stand up from his sit
"Put the pillow hurry.." Jaebum said while holding his breath then Changkyun quickly put a pillow to support his back
"Okay?"
"Yeah.." As Jaebum eat's he look over to Changkyun "You rascal.. You didn't attend school, today did you?!" Jaebum scolded Changkyun out of the blue
"No hyung. There's no class for a week.. Soooo, I'll be your part time nurse hyung!" He smiled and Jaebum choked on his rice
*Jaebum Coughs*
"Hyung! Here some water!!!" Jaebum took the water from Changkyun and gulp it all in
"Ah thanks... That saved me..." water spills everywhere because he rushed to drink it while coughing
"Hyung, Do you know why did the Banana go to the doctor ?" Changkyun took a towel and softly wipes Jaebum's mouth while Jaebum glares at him
"No... What now?"
"Because like you, the banana wasn't Peeling well..." Changkyun laughed to his own joke and all Jaebum could do is watch him in silence thinking how lame his brother could be
"Shut up.." Jaebum said that but he too couldn't take it and burst into laughter
"Hahaha!! Hyung, eat a lot okay." He place the food back near to Jaebum and while refilling drinks for Jaebum,
"Haneul didn't call you?" Jaebum quietly asked
"Oh? Haneul Nuna? No, she didn't... What's up?"
"Just asking..." Jaebum stopped eating and pushed his table slowly
"Hyung! You gotta finish your food if you want to go home early?!"
"Which a**hole told you that?"
"Mom." Changkyun letting a dimple out while Jaebum popped his eyes out hearing his mom 'polishing her knife' by his side
Jaebum hit Changkyun while getting laughed at
"Omma is not here. Don't worr-----" Changkyun got cut by a loud bang from the door
A tall figure entered the room putting the smiles and foolishness of the brothers to a stop
"Changkyun ah, could you give us a moment?"
"Yes dad..." Changkyun abides to his father's request and exited the room unwillingly leaving Jaebum alone with their dad.
Jaebum lowered his head instead of making eye contact with his father.
"Son, you weren't focus when you got into this accident weren't you?"
"No dad." Formally he answered
"I told you before that it is dangerous to get a bike and you go against my words. Look what happened now?"
"It is a mistake Dad. It won't happe----"
"How can you predict that it won't happen again?" Jaebum's dad stricken his voice
Jaebum couldn't answer and his dad just stared at him
"Look here Son... Look into my eyes..." Jaebum forcefully turned his head expecting a slap from his dad but saw his red and watery eye's instead. His dad hugged his son like never before
"Appa....." Jaebum tears rolled down his cheeks naturally
"Son... My heart sank when your mother told me you got into an accident while I'm at the airport and my boss didn't let me go to see you until I held the meeting in Japan... Sorry I took so long Jaebum ah...." The father and son continued to hug
"I'm sorry if I disappoint you dad..."
"You never did Jaebum ah... You've always done so well... I put pressure on you because I know you can do better... I told the CEO that you won't marry his daughter because you told me you didn't want too... Don't worry... I will look out for better options for you, my son."
His dad tapped Jaebum's shoulder to ensure that he will try his best for his son, leaving Jaebum speechless. He just couldn't say anything and nodded to his dad's way of showing affection.
The way he shows affection is just like me... I've always thought that he's ruining my life... Haneul is right... He is just worried and caring for me... Why didn't I see all this earlier? I got to thank Haneul for not making me hate him and always advised me positively...
At that moment Jaebum's ego lowered. He took his phone and read the well wishes text from Haneul and quickly he smiles.
Hmm... What if she's still mad? What if she doesn't want to talk to me anymore because I was so mean to her... I just don't want her to come because she would feel guilty and sad the whole time... Might take her years to stop nagging at me... What do I do????
