As I carried the bouquet in my hands and headed off to her house, I saw a small boy standing on the side of the street, crying.
People were staring at him but did not bother to help him and walked past by. This kind of act angered me. I decided to help the boy myself.
"What's wrong, little one?" I sweetly asked him.
The boy looked at me with his teary eyes. He didn't seem much older than six.
"I lost my mommy..."
I felt pity for him. I took him by his hand and wiped off his tear. "Don't worry, I will find your mommy for you."
He smiled. "Yay! Thank you, elder sister!"
"You're welcome."
I took him to a nearby police station where I saw a woman crying before the policeman. "Please help me find my son!"
"Mommy!"
She turned around and saw us. "Son!" The boy ran up to his mother and hugged her. She tightly embraced her son.
After witnessing this lovely reunion, I turned to leave. "Wait!" the mother called out to me. I stopped.
"Thank you so much for bringing back my lost son to me..."
I gave her a smile. "You're welcome."
Lost, huh? Another incident came to my mind.
