*Alarm ringing*
"Ya.. Haneul... Your phone is ringing and is making too much noise... before I throw it out the window.. You better silent your phone..." Half asleep Mino scolded Haneul again
Haneul reached out to the phone on her bed side table to look at the time and switch off her alarm. She unlocked her iPhone and the pupils of her eyes quickly resized. The time made her jump out of the bed and run to get herself ready for her part time job. She is already 30mins late for her work at that point of time.
Haneul's Mom was walking over to their room to check on Haneul and Mino when Haneul was running out.
*Haneul's mom opened their bedroom door*
"AHHHHHH!!!!!" Haneul scream at the top of her voice, shocked by her mom.
"Haneul ah... why are you screaming?"
"I almost hit that door omma... " Haneul ran to the bathroom leaving her Mom and her brother at the room.
"Ahhhh! This Haneul!! I can't even sleep. Omma.. I really don't want to share rooms with her!!!" Mino whine to their mom
Haneul rushes everything from Showering to wearing her uniform and packing her college clothes to wear after she end her part time job. Haneul is indeed a busy student who has to work and help her Mom support the family as her father lost his life to a road accident when she was just 6 years old.
"Omma, I'll get going! I'm very late for work already!" Haneul tied her shoelace and gave a kiss on her mom's cheeks then running out to the parking lot of their apartment.
Haneul sprint towards her motor bike, took her helmet and quickly speed her way to work.
Ah I hate being late. The boss will mock me and make me do more work which will cause me to be late for college... Help me... *cried in her heart*
Haneul worked hard still, carrying all those heavy goods and filling up the racks of the convenience store.
"Oh! If it isn't Haneul!! Didn't know you were on shift today. Looks like you were late..."
"Ah.. I.. I.. Have a good reason why I'm late boss.."
"Reason? Or excuse? I want you to payback the 30mins for late coming. Do the cleaning duty at the back. I will ask someone else to man the counter. I want the store to be pristine clean before you can leave. Alright ?"
"But boss, I have class today and I---" Haneul got cut
"Anymore, excuses?"
"No boss.." She forcefully agreed to the task that was given by her boss as she don't want to lose the job. The only workplace that is very near to her college.
Haneul unwillingly did her cleaning duties and was already late for her class.
*MONSTA MONSTA X x X x HERO INST~* her phone rang
H: Hello...
:Haneul ah, you don't sound so good? Are you sick?
H: No shownu.. I'm abit busy now..
SN: oh.. Busy? You are not in class though?
H: My boss asked me to stay and do some cleaning duties cause I was late just now.. Unbearable...
SN: didn't you tell him you have college?
H: I did.. But he refused to listen...
SN: Is he finding for trouble??
H: Shownu ah.. I have to go.. If he caught me using my phone.. i'm sure he will sack me.. Help me tell the professor that I will be very late..
SN: Ohh.. Okay. Take care Haneul. See you soon..
Shownu who was worried about Haneul couldn't stay still in the classroom
"Sir, I gotta run some errand at the convenience store. Can I be excused?" Shownu asked his professor for permission to leave the class
"Convenience store? Shownu ah, what errand is there in the convenience store for you to skip this lesson?" The professor wasn't in a good mood since morning
"i.. Uh... gotta.. Get Haneul from her work and pull her here...."
"Haneul? Convenience store? Look, Haneul is already late for 45mins now.. You are telling me it is because of her job?"
"Please just excuse me this once. I promise you I'll bring her here in one piece."
The professor gave up debating and asking questions. He made a gesture excusing Shownu for class.
Shownu grabbed his bag and ran to the convenience store Haneul worked at. When he arrived Haneul is throwing the rubbish behind the store.
"Haneul ah.. Pss psssss Haneul ahhhh" Shownu whispered at busy Haneul
Haneul turn around to look.
"Is it my imagination??"
"Haneul ah! Turn here!!" He whispered quite loudly
Haneul's eyes popped, shocked from seeing Shownu who is supposed to be in class beside the big rubbish bin hiding.
"Ya Shownu, what are you doing here..." Haneul whispered back to him
"I'm kidnaping you"
"What????"
"I'm kidnaping you!!"
"Whatttt???"
Shownu gave up and grabbed haneul put her under his armpit and ran.
"YAYA what are you doing!! Let me go" Haneul struggled
"I'm bringing you to school! We have an important class today!"
"I'm done, I just need to get changed! Wait for me here"
"oh.. Why didn't you say so..." Shownu scratched his head from being embarrassed
Haneul rolled her eye and went back into the convenience store to pick her belongings and clock out. Right before she leave her boss walk towards her.
"Haneul ah, I know you are a student. It is also equally important for you to be punctual. Getting a job means you have to commit and be responsible despite your other responsibilities. Same to others. If you can't commit then you don't. As simple as that. Here is today's extra payment but I want you to make sure you won't be late again. Understand?" Her boss kindly reminded her due to his concerns for her as well
"Thank you, boss. I appreciate this a lot. I'll be sure to be punctual. I'll get going now." She bowed and left
"Study hard little girl." The boss pat her back
Haneul happily walked out towards Shownu. Then her face quickly changed to someone scary and chasing after Shownu who intended to kidnap her from work
"Ya Ya Ya!!! Why are you chasing me?!!!"
"Comeback you kidnapper !!!!!!!"
"What did I do wrong"
Haneul chases Shownu all the way to the school lobby. Both of them breaks a lot of sweat even though it is very near.
Shownu breathe pretty loudly and Haneul locked her arms around Shownu's neck and knuckling his head from being intimidated
"Youuuuuu!!!! If I lose that job !! I'd be sure to shave your head bald!!!" She shouted in Shownu's ears
Both laughed from being playful and walk their way back to class. Shownu and Haneul ended up being punished and they both have to stay and help the school on Admin duties.
After class, someone who gives out a very strong aura, very good looking man who is standing outside their class smiled at Haneul with the sweetest smile he's got. Haneul turned scarlet red, smiling back at him. She packed her bag and walked towards him forgetting anything ever existed. She could only hear her heart beat fast.
"Ya, Haneul ah! Where are you going ??? Why are you ignoring me?? Haneul ah???" Shownu who is calling out to her got ignored.
"Jaebum ah, since when were you standing here?"
"Not so long, estimated around 2minutes. Let's go" Jaebum looked at his watch while talking
"Where to?" Haneul couldn't stop gazing at Jaebum
"Our-----" Jaebum got cut
"Oh if it isn't Jaebum.." Shownu placed his hands on Haneul's Shoulder and gave Jaebum a piercing stare
"Shownu ah..... AAAAaaAaAA!!!" Haneul screamed out of nowhere
"Ya why are you screaming???" Shownu got shocked
"She probably forget something very important and now that you're here she probably recalled something that had to do with you.. In 3, 2,1" Jaebum smirked
"Jaebum ah I forget !! I can't go with you today!! I have admin duties with Shownu.. I'm late for class and Shownu skipped class to go get me... I'll head to the office first. Shownu I'm leaving you behind !! Bye Jaebum!" Haneul walked away quickly , Shownu's jaw is still hanging from Jaebum's accurate predictions
"Ya Haneul ah! Why aren't you going with me???" Shownu wanted to walk towards Haneul but got stopped by Jaebum
"You went to get Haneul from?" Jaebum pierce his gaze into Shownu's eyes
"Why do you want to know?"
"Look here, don't you dare touch Haneul, flirt with her or disturb her during her part time job duties. I won't easily let that go." Jaebum said while pulling Shownu's shirt
"I'm not about that life Jaebum ah. But nothing is wrong for me to like her. " Shownu pushes Jaebum's hand which was pulling his shirt and walked away.
Jaebum and Haneul has been very close since high school they also often get labelled as couples due to being super close and inseparable at times.
