Cuphead's P.O.V.
I heard the footsteps fading away and assumed that they left.
My attention was back on Bendy. I set him near a comfortable place. Unfortunately, my backpack was at their home and I can't get out because of the people that attacked.
"C-Can we open our eyes now?" asked Mugs. I hesitated but I didn't want Boris to see Bendy. "Ok, Mugs, you can open your eyes. And as for you, Boris..." I paused to think a little. "You're going to have to sit in the corner so you don't have to witness the incident..." I said, trying to keep calm.
"Hmm...fiiine..." he murmured as he turn to a side, opening his eyes, to stand up and sit in a nearby corner.
I went up to Mugman and whispered as soft and low as I could.
"Take care of Bendy, and don't let Boris turn to look at Bendy, ok? I'll come back, I promise.". He nodded in reply.
And I took off running through the hedge back to Bendy's house.
Mugman's P.O.V.
I turned my head to look at Boris after Cuphead left.
He was still facing the corner. Then, I looked at Bendy, who was unconscious by a wound he had on his shoulder.
I walked over to Boris and sat down next to him.
"Something wrong?" I asked him.
"I want to see my brother..."
"Don't worry, he's fine."
"But what if-" I cut him off. "I'm telling you, he's ok. You don't have to worry." I said, trying to calm him down. He took a deep breath and calmed down. "Ok, he's fine. He's alright. Everything's good...if he's fine, why can't I see him?" he asked. "Cuphead told me not to let you look. He probably just doesn't want you to worry." I replied. Boris looked at me and smiled. We both chatted until Cuphead came. And of course, turning my head back to watch over Bendy.
Cuphead's P.O.V.
I quietly opened the back with the busted door knob. I looked around.
There small splash of blood on the wall and a bloody bullet on the floor. Pictures that were hanging from the wall were on the floor and frames were broken. The TV was broken and on the floor. The table was on the floor. A chair was missing one of their legs. 'What exactly happened here?' I thought.
I spotted my schoolbag on the stairs, midway. I walked up the stairs and picked my schoolbag. I looked up and saw a door wide open. 'It wouldn't hurt to look around a little bit...' I thought.
I continued to walk up the stairs and looked around the open room. It was messy...I looked down at the black carpet and saw a phone with a broken screen. I picked it up and pressed the power button. The black screen turned into a wallpaper of a universe. On the bottom it said...
'Press Home Button to Unlock.'
I pressed the home button and a bunch of different apps appeared on the screen. Wow, no password? I've experience with this type of phone, so I double pressed the home button to see what app they've recently been on. Which was the Notepad. I pressed on it and it read:
'Day 28. K so today's the 28th day of me owning this second phone. So tomorrow's the first day of high school...parents abused me again, couldn't sleep last night so I went to my secret garden or place...sanctuary..? Whatever it is I want a name for it. I just finished the garden and its looking...horrible...but enough to look nice and calming for me to draw without interruptions. I like it. I don't love it. Not really proud of it. I'll never be good as those who can design their gardens better with more detail and other unique pretty plants...hmm oh well then. Better luck next time...'
I instantly guessed that this is Bendy's second phone because of he said he only new the place...including me. And his parents abuse him? Again??? I was a little confused at first but then I started to get it all. So, the ones who attacked were his parents? That can't possibly be...they wouldn't act so cruel...taking out a gun and shooting at their OWN SON! Or maybe they are his parents...
I shook my head remembering that Bendy was wounded. I was heading out of the room until I heard a loud crash coming from downstairs. And then, people yelling at one another.
"I told you, not to spend all of the f**king money!!" shouted one.
"You're the one who told me to 'BuY tHiS sH*T! bUy ThAt Sh*t!' and bought some drinks after!" yelled the other.
"I wanted the stuff! Why won't you work harder and longer, you b*cth?!"
"I lost my f**king job! You know what? Shut the f**k up! I'm getting another drink." I heard one say, I heard a fridge open and glass bottles hitting each other.
Then, I heard footsteps going upstairs. I quickly looked around and hid in the closet. A door opened and closed. I peeked out the closet. No one was there. I quickly got out of the closet and opened the window from the room. The drop wasn't that long. So, I jumped off from the window and started to run back the garden.
When I got there, I jumped from a tree to another tree back to the same tree and jumped over the hedge. And landed without getting hurt.
I looked around. Bendy's still unconscious. Mugs turned around, I've caught his attention, but Boris was still facing the corner.
I walked and sat next to Bendy. I turned my head and told Mugman to continue to speak with Boris and to not turn around until I was done.
I started to take off Bendy's hoodie. He had a black shirt with long sleeves that ended a bit over his wrist. I quickly took off his shirt and placed it next to the hoodie. I didn't pay much attention to him because I didn't want to get distracted. I took a mini towel, my water bottle and bandages out of my backpack. When I turned my head around to face Bendy, I dropped all of my things I had in hand. I was very shocked...and my heart dropped.
There were cuts all over his arms, almost up to his shoulders...I wanted see if they real, so I touched his arm and jolted up awake... The cuts are real then...
Bendy's P.O.V.
I couldn't see anything...
Everthing was dark...
I couldn't move either...
I was panicking...my shoulder hurts so much...but I felt a little numb there...
...until someone touched my arm. I woke up and yanked my arm out of the person's hands. I realized I was shirtless. Tears started to form. I looked at the wound that was on my shoulder...I widen my eyes even more. I, then, slowly turned to who was the one who touched my hand...it was...Cuphead...
He was still on that 'holding my arm' position. His eyes widened and tears were forming. He blinked and the tears started rolling down his cheeks. I quickly put my hands on his cheeks and wiped his tears away with my thumbs. I tried my best not to cry...
"Bendy..." he started.
"Yeah?" I stuttered.
"Why would you do this?" he whispered, shaking. He placed his hands on mine. "Why didn't you tell me?"
I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I started to cry. Cuphead pulled me into a hug. I heard his heartbeat and I calmed down...
...somehow...
Cuphead laid me down on the floor. He picked up his things and fixed me up.
When he was done, I stood up. "Hey, wait, hold up." said Cuphead before getting a bandage and wrapping it around my 2 arms, covering my cuts. "Ok, there....don't cut yourself...please?" he whispered just so the others won't hear. I sighed. "Ok..." I replied and I quickly put my shirt and hoodie back on.
A/N: k i know i could've edited the previous chapter but meh, here's what Cuphead's smile looks like, and yes i did draw these ugly looking drawings if you were wondering.
