Meteors of the Sun

On the night of April 22,2014

I saw golden streaks appearing

They disappeared almost instantly

I thought of how they must've been forged of pure sun light

Spreading across the earth through the night

Streaks of gold marked their paths

Showering the world with a bath of debris

As the flashing of meteors begun

They brought with them the pre-rising of the sun
