It has been a few months after the twins left. Mabel would call me everyday when they got out of school since they left half an hour after me and the three of us would talk for at least an hour.
Just like summers in Gravity Falls are incredibly hot, winters are also incredibly cold. Soos and Melody (who moved in two months ago) had bought a Christmas and some lights. We were gonna decorate it later on.
At the moment, I was working on a drawing on my sketchbook (a new one, the old one was completely destroyed). I was in the Christmas spirit and wanted to design a Christmas outfit.
Wendy and Pacifica were helping me and keeping me company. We had all become really close friends, and since Pacifica and her family lost most of their money and the Northwest Manor she has been coming over more often.
You: Mmm... should the bow be white or green?
Pacifica: White, it'll match the puffy parts of the dress, the actual dress can be mint green.
You: *start to color*
Wendy: Hey, I'm gonna go grab a soda, you guys want anything?
You: I'm good, thanks.
Pacifica: I'll go with you.
Wendy: Ok then.
Wendy and Pacifica: *enter the kitchen*
I continue coloring the almost finished drawing when I hear a voice from behind. "Wow, I see your art has gotten better." "Heh, I guess, I have been practicing and-"
I had began to speak but stopped myself as realization dawned upon me. I stand up and turn around, shock and surprise filled my face.
You: Dipper?!?
Dipper: Hey, (y/n)!
You: *hug him tight as he hugs you back* W-w-what are you doing here?!?
Dipper: We came for the holidays, what does it look like?
You: Wait. *pull away* We?!?
???: (Y/N)!!!!!!!
As if on cue Mabel ran inside and wrapped her arms around me. Man, she had gotten stronger!!! I returned the hug, then we pulled away.
You: I-I can't believe you're both here!!!
Wendy and Pacifica: *come in*
Wendy: Oh, you're here earlier than expected.
Dipper: We finished unpacking early.
You: Wait a minute, you knew?!?!?!?
Soos: *enters with Melody* We all did, it was their idea to keep it a secret from you.
You: I hate you all.
Dipper and Mabel: *laugh*
???: And that's not the only surprise!!!
Stan and Ford had just entered the room with bright smiles on their faces. Dipper, Mabel, and I ran and hugged them before Soos and Wendy joined in and Mabel and I forcing Pacifica into the hug too.
We all went to the living room and began to decorate the tree. As we did, a couple came inside. First the greeted Stan and Ford before Dipper and Mabel introduced them to the rest of us. Their parents.
Mabel pulled me to them, first introducing me as her best friend, then as her brother's girlfriend. OH CRAP!!! They already knew me and I knew them, but only through video chat and we never really spoke. I just waved and smiled... awkwardly...
Their mother was incredibly sweet, their father was a but serious but gave me a small sincere smile.
Hours passed, I ended up having a long and interesting conversation with their mother. She was really cool, and reminded me if my own mom in a way.
Mrs. Pines: Yeah, he always gets embarrassed when we talk about any of them.
You: Yeah well, I had the absolute "pleasure" to see one.
Mrs. Pines: *gasps dramatically and smiles excitedly* Which one?!?
You: The Lamby dance.
Mrs: Pines: Oh, that's my favorite one!!! But his least favorite, how did you convince him?!?
You: *remember your adventures at the inconvenience store Dusk 2 Dawn* Uh..... i-it's a long story, heh.
Dipper: *wakes over* What are you guys talking about...?!?
You: Your mom was just telling me about all your other dances! I didn't know you were not only a lamb, but a tiger, a turtle, and a whale?
Mrs. Pines: Narwhal!
You: Sea unicorn!!!
Dipper: What the-?!? Mom!!!
Mrs. Pines: I couldn't help it, as my future daughter-in-law she deserves to know!!!
You and Dipper: *turn red*
Dipper: MOM!!!
Mrs. Pines: Ok, I'll stop!!! I need to look for your father anyways. It was wonderful finally meeting you, (y/n)!!!
You: You too!!!
Mrs. Pines: *walks off*
Dipper: Um, so-
You: I need you to dress up as a narwhal for my birthday.
Dipper: What?!?
You: It'll make me happy~!!!
Dipper: Please don't make me do this!!!
You: Nah, you're right.
Dipper: *sighs of relief* Thank you.
You: We need a new animal costume.
Dipper: (y/n)!!!!!!!
You: *laugh* Sorry, *nudge Dipper* you're cute when you're annoyed.
You and Dipper: *chuckle as you blush lightly*
The conversation had taken place as we stood by the wall. I heard a strange sound from above us catching me and Dipper's attention. There was an arrow stuck on the wall a few feet above us, some mistletoe hung from it.
I look at Mabel who's at the other side of the room holding a bow. "C'mon, months without seeing each other in person and you haven't kissed yet!!!" she yelled in annoyance.
Dipper yelled at his sister before everyone started chanting kiss. Dipper was redder than a tomato, and I myself felt my face heat up.
I grabbed both his hands in mine and gave him a warm smile which brought one to his own face. He then gingerly placed his lips on mind as we both closed our eyes. I could hear everyone cheering but I just ignored it. We pulled away shortly after, both of us a deep crimson red.
The party went on, I was talking with the twins. As we did, a question popped into my mind: they had only come for the holidays, I wanted to until when exactly.
You: Hey um, I've been meaning to ask you guys since you got here, how long will you be staying here?
Dipper: Oh, I guess we forgot to tell you.
You: Forgot to tell me what?
Mabel: There's a reason our parents came with us this time!!!
You: And that reason is.........?
Dipper and Mabel: *look at each other with smiles on their faces*
Dipper: We're going home tomorrow.
You: What?!? You're already leaving?!?
Mabel: Heh, well yeah, our home's about five minutes away!!!
You: ...what?
Dipper: We convinced our parents to move here, we already bought a house nearby!!!
You: Please tell me you aren't joking.
Mabel: We're not!!!!! And we'll be starting school with you after the holidays!!!!!
Mabel wrapped Dipper and me in a tight group hug as we all laughed. The Mystery Trio is now back in action.
