"So I'm confused Jughead has problems with his mom what's the big deal?" Veronica asked after Jughead left Pops
"The big deal is that Jughead thinks she's up to something" I said
"Couldn't she just want to be a family again?" Archie asked I scoffed
"When has it ever been that easy? Especially with Jugheads mom?" Archie leaned back
"You don't think..."
"No I don't but I do want to know what she's here" I said bitting my nail on my thumb.
"Well what does it seem like? You've been over there" Betty said
"It seems like she wants to be a family again like Veronica said but the timing is so weird, why now? She had all this time to come back"
"Well..." Archie started
"I know Archie I know what his father did, I also know what he's doing now" Archie nodded
"Maybe your overreacting, maybe the phones calls have made you overthink in a situation where you don't need to." Betty said
"Yeah maybe" I said
"Look lets just focus one issue at at time, there's no need to go making trouble where there is none" Betty responded I sighed

"So this phone call" Veronica started
"We should be going to the police with this" Archie said
"Ok how many scenarios both in our lives and in horror movies has that situation actually helped?"
"So our plan is to really just to sit here?" Archie asked "when has that ever helped us too?"
"So were screwed either way" I responded
"Yeah but..." Archie started
"Archie I'm gonna stop you right there if we walk into the police station tonight saying we've been getting weird phones calls we are just going to get laughed at, accused of watching to much tv and sent home because their convulsion is that someone is pranking us."
"What if someone is pranking us, what if that's all it is? A prank?" Betty said
"It wasn't a prank to Alison DiLaruentis her friends and to Sidney Prescott and I don't think it's a prank to us."
"What" Archie asked looking at me I just rolled my eyes
"Forget about it" I said "look laying low is the best option for us right now to show whoever that they aren't bothering us and if someone else comes up with a better plan I'm open ears but for now I'm going home and hopping my boyfriend didn't get himself kicked out of his own house." I stood up and walked outside.
I turned on my phone for the first time tonight and there was a message from Jughead
I talked to mom ok more like screamed at her felt good though I needed to get it out
What now? I replied halfway home I got a response
She says she wants to try to be a family I said I would try but she has to make a effort too

I'm hoping at this point we are having breakfast at Pops tomorrow just the two of us

I arrived home and opened the door to a empty silence. I quietly made my way to my bedroom and turned on the light. I got dressed for bed then looked at my phone for the final time tonight

Wish me luck before I could type out a reply I got a call from a unknown number. Ignoring it is useless at this point so I picked it up

"Fuck you, you cretin" I hung up and threw my phone on bed painting, my hands still shaking.
