Chapter 14

Jugheads P.O.V
I took a deep breath and knocked on (Y/N)s door. That morning was normal, we walked to school together, I walked her to her locker and when the bell rang we left to go to our classes. When the bell rang though I knew I had to mention it.

"Hey (Y/N) after school I need to talk to you about something"
"Oh ok" she replied nervously
"It's about Jake" (Y/N) sighed
"Jughead.."
"No before you start just let me talk about this later. You don't even have to say anything, just listen" she nodded
"All right"
"Ok I'll see you then" I started to walk away
"Jughead" I turned around to face her
"Yeah?"
"We have English together you goof" she said with a smile then the bell rang
"See you in English" I said walking to my class.
"Actually I'll see you at lunch! English is 4th period! Don't you know your own schedule?!"
"I'm going to bio now" I said turning back one more time to shout that to her before turning around and walking to my first class.

The day went by fine, stressful and not just from high school. I nervously tapped my foot while waiting for (Y/N) we had planned to walk home together and talk then. When she came outside I exhaled from a deep breath I didn't even know I took.
"Hi" she said
"Hi" I responded we started to walk
"So you said you had something to tell me"
"I did, ok so I know that I sound like a jealous boyfriend right now and I know we talked about this, but Jake is out to win you back" she rolled her eyes
"Jughead not this again"

"No look he told me himself he only came here to win you back, look at his Instagram it's full of creepy posts about you and him."
"You went on his Instagram?"
"Yeah and it's not just that it's all of his social media and even Archie can back me up on this."
"Archie's in on this too?"
"Yeah he's sort of spying for me"
"How long did you have this planned?"
"Not to long..."
"Wanna finish that sentence?"
"After he showed up" (Y/N) sighed
"Jughead"
"I know, all right look hate me yell at me but don't stand there and tell me that there's nothing weird about your ex coming to town." She stopped and looked at me

"I'm not mad at you, I'm just disappointed that you went behind my back to find this out instead of coming to me and talking to me about this. I thought you could trust me."
"I don't trust you, it's him I don't trust I never trusted him."
"You don't have to trust him all right, you just have to trust me that I can make my own decisions."
"I do"
"Really? Because it doesn't seem like that, god I'm tired of having the same conversation with you." she started to walk away
"(Y/N)!" She didn't respond she just kept walking
