Violet POV
I stand up and head to the door. Upon opening it I see Ryder and the gang. "Sup guys!" I exclaim cheerfully.
"Hey Girl!" Taryleen shouts. I smile and nod my head, letting her know I noticed her presence. Moving away from the door Ryder strolls in with everyone behind his heel.
"I'm so bored!" Alex sighed, stretching out "bored". I look up from my book to see Alex hanging upside down from the couch, with his head dangling near the floor and his feet in the air.
"Anyone up for.....truth or dare?" Angela smirks. I sneak a glance at Ryder to see him with a smug face. 'Weird.' I think to myself.
A chorus of "sure's" and "okay's" filled the room. "I'm down. As long as we invite a certain someone's boyfriend to the party." I smirk triumphantly, staring holes into Angela's head.
I see her gulp as she takes her phone out and dials a number. "Put it on speaker!" I tell her. She nods and presses speaker.
Jacob 💕: Hello?
Angela 🐙: Hey Jacob! I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my brothers house and play Truth or Dare with us.
Jacob 💕: Sure! Anything for you my love~!
Angela physically face palmed. I, along with the others, except Ryder, couldn't hide our amusement from the active conversation. Angela cleared her throat and said...
(Address is fake, at least I think it is.)
Angela 🐙: Yay! The address is 2798 Mount Ave. There are two houses up here. Your going to the second one.
Jacob 💕: On my way. Start the game and I'll be there in no time!
Angela 🐙: Okay! Bye! Love you~!
Jacob 💕: Love you too, Babe.
By the time Jacob hung up I was exploding with laughter. I couldn't keep it in. The scowl on Ryder's face made it more oh so enjoyable. Angela wasn't full on blushing, but you could see light pink dust her cheeks.
"I will end him!" Ryder threatens in a deep, menacing voice that sent shivers down my spine.
"That is what I call a threat!" Alex jokes. Resulting in a smack to the back of the head from Taryleen. "Idiot." She mumbled.
"What was that?" I heard Alex say. His hand cupping his ear. Taryleen huffs and leans close to his ear. Surprising him, she screamed. An ear splitting scream that would put a banshee to shame.
Still in shock, and upside down. Alex slowly went right side up, and made his way to the kitchen. Shuffling to the freezer, he picked up an ice pack and placed it on his ear. Shuffling back over he plopped back down and glared at Taryleen.
She snicker and went to sit in his lap. Being the forgiving person he is, he gladly accepted and pulled her flush against his back. (I finished reading some 18+ chapter and my mind is being dirty.)
Standing up I clapped my hands and said, "Alright guys! I'm going to grab a bottle and we're going to start the game. It's not like we're all 26 or 27 year olds playing Truth or Dare on the floor." I nervously chuckle. That's exactly what we are doing
I quickly grabbed an empty beer bottle and walked back to the group. Placing the bottle in the middle I'm about to spin before I ask everyone if they knew the rules. Of course they nodded yes, but I was checking just in case.
Spinning the bottle it landed on Ryan. "Truth or Dare, Ryan?" "Truth." He replies. "Is it true that you are dating Brook?" (Brooklyn. From the chapter they were doing the buddy project.) He blushes and nods very quickly. I stifle a laughter as his face turns even redder.
He quickly composes himself and spins the bottle, landing on Alex. "Truth or Dare?" "Truth. I ain't doing any dares when you guys are involved." He said 'matter of factly'. Ryan just shakes his head and says. "Are you planning on proposing to Taryleen anytime soon?"
That sent me into a burst of giggles. Ryder even laughed a bit as well. He muttered something. "What was that?" Angela asks. "I said, 'Yes! I am very soon!'" Realizing his mistake he quickly covered his mouth and sheepishly turned towards Taryleen.
She sat there, eyes wide, mouth gaping open, and heart beat, loud and clear. Waving my hand in front of her face she snaps out of it and runs over to Alex. "You are?!?!?" She practically yelled into his ear...again. He nodded again and she squealed in delight.
"I love you so much Alex!" She exclaimed, kissing his cheeks, nose, forehead, then finally lips. Running off somewhere all you could hear were the thumping of her feet hitting the tile and the loud squeal coming from her mouth.
Shaking his head, smiling, Alex got up and followed after her. The door bell ringed and Ryder's head snapped to the door. Angela swiftly got up and speed walked to the door before Ryder could get to it first.
"Hey Jacob! Come in!" Angela said to Jacob. Now that I think about it, I still don't know what Jacob looks like. Only the general description. Time to find out!
As Jacob walks through the door I get a good look at his face. He has slightly curly light brown hair and hazel eyes. I'll admit, he does have a nice smile.
Judging by how tightly Angela is holding his hand, it's warm. She mentioned that she liked warm hands. Guess she found her Mr. Right.
"H-Hi. My name is Jacob. Um...my cousin Jake is dating a girl named Shayna. Who I'm guessing is your," He points to me. "Sister."
I stifle a laughter and respond with, "Why yes she is my sister." Then I turn to Angela. "I approve of him. If you get married, invite me to the wedding!" I say holding back my laugh.
She blushes and rolls her eyes. "Whatever." The brunette next to her let's out a deep chuckle and kisses the top of her head.
I can feel the anger radiating off of Ryder. If looks could kill, Jacob would be at the core of the earth. I put a hand on Ryder's shoulder and shake my head. He huffs then clears his throat. "Have you ever dated anyone before?" Ryder asks staring straight into Jacobs eyes. "No, Angela would be my first everything."
Satisfied with his answer, Ryder grabbed my wrist that was still on his shoulder and pulled me down onto his lap. I scrunched my nose and tried to get up. Miserably failing I give up and just stay where I was.
At some point in the game I felt Ryder shift under me. I then felt his warm breath on the back on my neck making the hairs stand. "If you keep wiggling around like you were I'm gonna have to take a cold shower." He whispers into my ear with a husky voice.
I blush a deep red and slap his shoulder, getting up somewhere during that. I sit down next to him right when the bottle lands on me. "Just frickin great!" I shout throwing my hands in the air. Ryder chuckles and I send him one of my most deadliest glares. He raises his hands up in defense and looks like he's gonna burst with laughter.
I roll my eyes and look at Angela since she was asking me the question. "Truth or Dare?" Angela said. I sighed. "Dare I guess." Her innocent smile turns into a smirk. "Wait! No I choose Truth! I don't want a Dare!" I frantically shout.
"Ah ah ah~! You chose Dare~ and I have He perfect Dare for you~! She teases. I groan and smack my head against the cushion part of the couch. "What do I have to do?" I sigh out.
"Psh! Don't worry it's nothing...that bad." She nervously chuckles. "Just tell me what it is!" I plead. I don't like dares. 'Why did you choose Dare, Brain! Are you trying to get me killed!!!' I yell at myself in my head.
"Alright! All you have to do is kiss my brother....on the MOUTH for 10 seconds." She smiles sweetly. Making sure to put emphasis on "Mouth". My head turns at lightning speed at her. "WHAT?!!?" She snickers and budge some towards Ryder.
He's just sitting there looking smug. I wish I could slap that smirk right off his face. I sigh giving up and then to Ryder. Leaning in my lips brush against his. All of a sudden his hand threads into my hair and his lips crash against mine. Soon our lips are moving in synch. I never knew a kiss could feel this good. My hands found their way to his hair and neck while his found my hips.
This kiss soon became heated until someone cleared their throat. Breaking the kiss I look to see everyone staring at us with wide eyes. I blush redder than a tomato and hide my face in Ryder's chest. Chuckling he kisses the top of my head and rests his chin on top. "Tu as l'air un peu rouge, Violet." Ryder smirks. (You look a little red, Violet.) I slightly gasp and smack his chest. "Connard." (Shithead.) I murmur hoping he couldn't hear me.
Of course he could and he started laughing really loudly. I roll my head but laugh along with him.

Next chapter will have a bonus at the end. Also my brother (5) was constantly bugging me while I was writing to let him put his name in.
