After walking for a while, they finally reached a big Mansion.
"That's my house"
Jamie said, pointing towards a huge gate infront of the big Mansion.
Marcus and Zhang just started at the big Mansion in front of them but didn't say anything.
Jamie then turned towards the two of them and said gently with a smile,
"Thank you for today. And uhh...also for dropping me off. I am sorry about what happened earlier at the park"
Marcus smiled back at Jamie with a huge grin and replied in a happy tone,
"Don't mention it Jamie. Its our job as your bodyguard to protect you"
Zhang looked at Jamie with a gentle smile and nodded his head, agreeing with Marcus's words.
Marcus then gently patted Jamie's shoulders,
"If anyone ever bothers you again, then infrom us immediately. We will beat them up for you"
He said the last part in a cold tone.
Jamie looked at Marcus, then at Zhang and answered with a sad smile,
"Thank you guys. I wish we were all in the same school. That way, we could spend more time together and i would have friends too"
Seeing Jamie's sad smile, Marcus and Zhang both felt pity towards him. After the incident today, it didn't take a genius to figure out why Jamie had hired them.
'He must be getting bullied everyday at school' they both thought as they looked at Jamie's sad smile. After seeing James's crazy behaviour earlier with the electric shaver, they could only imagine how severe the bullying must be.
But Jamie was in a private school, which meant it was pretty expensive. Zhang and Marcus couldn't afford to go there.
"Don't worry. I'll pick you up from school everyday from now"
Zhang, who normally didn't talk much and minded his own business, spoke up. This surprised both Jamie and Marcus. Hearing Zhang's words, Marcus quickly chimed in
"I'll come too. We can all even go to the park that we went to today"
Jamie was silent for a while as if lost in thoughts. Seeing Jamie's silence, Marcus immediately said,
"Don't worry. If someone tries to bother you again, i'll make sure to shave their head"
Hearing Marcus's words, Jamie thought's immediately went to the incident that had happened earlier. Remembering the stupid look on James's face, Jamie couldn't help but laugh.
Seeing Jamie finally laughing, Zhang and Marcus both felt relieved. Jamie then looked at both of them earnestly, his eyes filled with admiration,
"Thank you very much for helping me. I am really glad that i met you both"
Then he paused and slowly whispered in a small voice,
"I am so glad that we're friends now"
Marcus and Zhang however, immediately felt guilty after hearing Jamie's words. This innocent naive boy considered them as friends, but they had been thinking of this relationship as a job.
They may have helped Jamie, but they weren't doing it for free either. Jamie was paying them a lot of money for their 'help'. Honstly speaking, for that amount of money, Jamie could easily hire a professional and well trained bodyguard.
But Jamie still kept them around and even called them friends. Their work wasn't anything difficult either. All they had to do was hang out and eat free food. The more they thought about it, the more guilty they felt.
Marcus and Zhang wasn't a greedy or a calculating type of person. Therefore it was really hard for them not to feel guilty. To them, this situation felt like they were taking advantage of a poor innocent kid. Therefore, they both remained silent, feeling a bit conflicted over the situation.
Jamie could tell what they were both thinking from the expression they had on their faces. However, Jamie had honestly meant what he said. Marcus and Zhang both seemed like good kids, and he really was glad to have met them both.
After saying their goodbyes, Jamie went inside his house while Marcus and Zhang just stood and watched him leave.

Marcus and Zhang hadn't really interacted with each other much, except for when they were with Jamie. But they both had a mutual understanding between each other and were on good terms.
Since they both lived in the same direction, they both walked back home together. Unlike other days, today they didn't utter a single word the whole way, both of them deep in thought. Even Marcus, the blabber mouth, didn't say a word.
They had been walking some distance when Marcus suddenly stopped. He just stood in the middle of the street deep in thought. Zhang, who was walking beside him, looked at Marcus, wondering what the idiot was up to now.
Marcus just stood there, looking down and staring at his feet on the ground. Then after a few seconds, he spoke in a low whisper,
"Aarrghh...I need the money"
Zhang, as if understanding Marcus's situation, patted him twice on the back and just nodded his head.
Marcus looked at Zhang and breathed out a sigh of relief. He then quickly added,
"I really do consider him my friend too. Its just...i...i...need..."
He didn't finish his sentence, instead he waved his hand infront of Zhang and said,
"I will do my best and give my everything to help him. I will never let anyone hurt him again"
Zhang just smiled at Marcus and said gently, "I understand. I am sure he does too"
Zhang could understand why Marcus told him this.
Someone like Marcus, who had such a childish and friendly personality would obviously feel bothered in a situation like this. He must've wanted to get this feeling off his chest immediately.
Zhang too had felt the same. He didn't know Marcus's situation but he could understand it as he was going through the same. Right now, they were both in need of money. But that didn't mean that they didn't consider Jamie their friends.
In the end, they both silently decided to do their best to help him.
Marcus, after finally getting it off his chest, felt relieved. He and Zhang then resumed their walking, talking about other things. The topic somehow drifted to the incident that happened at the park earlier. Marcus remembered how the annoying guys from before were all wearing the same uniform as Jamie.
He also remembered Jamie saying that he wished for Marcus and Zhang to be in the same school as him. Suddenly a thought flashed his mind.
"Those guys today..."
Marcus said, thinking deeply,
"they seemed like they were from Jamie's school and also sounded like they knew him"
Zhang knew what Marcus was hinting at so he nodded his head and replied,
"They must have been bullying him from before"
Then he paused as if he suddenly thought of something, his voice growing colder,
"They will definitely do it again"
Marcus stopped walking when he heard Zhang's words. Zhang turned to Marcus, his face filled with worry,
"We can't protect him at school"
Marcus's face went pale when he heard it. He knew Zhang was right. After the incident today, Marcus and Zhang both knew that those people would take out their anger on Jamie, since they were too weak to take on Marcus or Zhang.
They can protect Jamie when he was outside but during school hours, Jamie was on his own. There was nothing they could do to help him. They both couldn't help but worry about what to do. They really wanted to help Jamie, but they couldn't go to his school either.
Marcus was quiet for a while, lost in thought. Then he remembered something....more like someone. They may not be able to help Jamie at school, but he knew someone who could.
Marcus turned to look at Zhang with a smile on his face and said excitedly,
"I know someone who can definitely help us"
Zhang looked back at Marcus and was silent for a few seconds. Then he seemed to realize something.
'Yes, he can surely help us'
Thinking that, Zhang smiled back at Marcus.

While Zhang and Marcus were worrying their ass off about Jamie, he was happily lying on his bed without a care in the world. He had already showered and changed his clothes.
After he arrived, Jamie had asked the butler if his stepmother or stepbrother was present at home. To his surprise, Kane had gone on a trip while his stepmother was still at the office.
'She sure seems like a hard worker'
Jamie thought after hearing about his stepmother's work ethics. He didn't really care about the either of them so it didn't really matter if they were present or not. He had just asked it out of curiosity.
"Aah i am so tired"
Jamie said out loud as he stretched his body. The system, who had silently watched all the events today, finally made an appearance,
[Host, i didn't know that your acting was so good]
Jamie snorted after hearing the system's words. He huffed his chest and replied in a cocky voice,
"Hmph! My acting skills are top notch. If i hadn't been a boxer, i would have probably been a famous actor"
The system, after hearing the host's cocky words, couldn't help it and said,
[yeah right! it wasn't that good either host]
"Don't lie. I know you're already my fan"
System (-_-)
"So?"
Jamie asked, "Have you done everything i told you to?"
[Yes host]
"Hmm...i can't wait to see their reactions"
Jamie had a huge grin on his face.
[Host, you sure are evil]
"Well, they all deserved it anyway"
The system was silent for a few seconds, then asked,
[all of them?]
Jamie knew what the system was hinting at, so he replied slowly,
"I will make sure to reward them handsomely and also help them back when the time comes"
The system, after hearing the host's answer choose to remain silent.
Jamie was pretty tired after the incident earlier today. Sure he wasn't involved in the fight physically, but all the planning and scheming had made him mentally exhausted.
Before going back to school, Jamie had made sure to remember all his bully's names and faces. He wanted to be prepared and ready. At first, Jamie had decided to wait for sometime and make proper plans before going after his bullies.
But James had really pissed him off this morning, especially when he called his mother Celia a whore. Celia may not be his real mother, but she was still the original owner's mother. Also, she was the daughter of the people who he had grown so attached to.
Therefore Jamie had told the system to send a message to James's number, acting as Kane. He also told the system to transfer money to James's account.
James must've thought that he was the only one who received that message. But unbeknownst to him, Jamie had sent the same message to all his bullies. He had also transferred money to all their accounts.
During recess he made them wait at the usual place on purpose, so as to make them more angry. After the classes ended, he had acted like he was leaving in a hurry cause he knew those stupid idiots would follow him.
But to Jamie's surprise, they had stopped following him when he reached the school gate. At first Jamie thought it was because of Zhang and Marcus. But after seeing how they had reacted towards the two at the park, Jamie knew his guess was wrong.
At first Jamie thought that his plan had failed. But as luck would have it, he accidentally saw James and his cannon fodder friends enter the park.
Jamie then acted as a pitiful person near Zhang and Marcus and entered the same park with them. He then deliberately went around looking for James and his cannon fodder friends. Luckily he saw them at a distance. Acting as if he was tired, Jamie rested in a place where he would be visible to James.
Jamie knew James was a stupid person with a loud mouth. He was sure that James would succeed in pissing off both Zhang and Marcus. Just as he had expected, James kept running his stupid mouth making everyone angry.
Although the electric shaver in James's hand came as a bit of a surprise to Jamie, he didn't bother about it. Jamie had only held Marcus's arm back then because he wanted James to run his stupid mouth some more. He wanted James to make the other two people more furious.
Jamie had also wanted to take this time to evaluate his 2 bodyguards. He wanted to see if they were worth keeping around or not.
As Jamie had already guessed, Marcus lost his cool first. Marcus was short tempered and acted quickly, while Zhang was calm and waited for the right moment.
Jamie watched them both as they beat up the background characters and quietly nodded his head in satisfaction. They really were worth the money he spent on them.
Jamie had already transferred money to both their accounts a while ago when he got money from his stepbrother's account. He hadn't paid them the full amount though, just half in advance to raise their interest. He wanted to see if they were capable or not.
(A/N: i was planning to add this in earlier chapters, but i kinda forgot....sorry😅)
Well today they both proved that they were atleast capable enough to protect him....for now. Jamie felt a bit bad for manipulating those two naive boys with his words and pitiful acting. He could see from their expression that they were both feeling guilty.
But he had to do it. This guilt of theirs would make them take their job more seriously. He didn't want them to slack off during work.
"I'll help them too when the time comes" Jamie thought again, then brushed off the almost guilty feelings he was starting to have.
Of course Jamie didn't forget to get the money back from the bullie's account. In fact, he even took the money they had thus emptying their account.
Jamie knew that the bullies wouldn't bother him, atleast not for a while. They might be wary of Jamie for now, since they'd be scared of Zhang and Marcus. But once Kane comes back, they'll definitely go back to bully mode. When their leader comes back, they'd definitely get back at Jamie with a vengeance.
Zhang and Marcus might be able to help him outside but he was definitely on his own at school.
'hmmm' Jamie thought as he tapped his chin with his finger. Guess he'll just have to keep running and hiding from them at school.
Jamie then remembered about his task. Now that he managed to get rid of the bullies, he should focus more on the task. After a while, the butler came and told him that dinner was ready. Jamie had his dinner, then did his homework with the system's help. After everything was done, he went to bed.
"Kaito..."
Jamie whispered slowly as he remembered the black haired boy. He had to complete his task soon. Thinking about the task, Jamie slowly drifted off to sleep.

Ji hoon was a bit surprised when he saw Marcus's bloodied hands and clothes. He looked back again at Marcus but the pink haired youth seemed fine and was even flashing him a smile. Seeing that Marcus was okay and unhurt, Ji hoon breathed a sigh of relief.
"What happened?"
Ji hoon asked, his deep voice sounding a bit too serious. They were currently at Ji hoon's place, sitting on the sofa in his extra large living room. Ji hoon had given Marcus his extra key so that he could come over whenever he wanted.
Instead of giving an answer to his question, Marcus took out his phone immediately and started searching for something.
"Where was it...where was it...ah ha found it!"
Marcus then handed over the phone to Ji hoon and motioned for him to take a look.
"Do you know this guy?"
He asked Ji hoon, showing him the picture of a bald guy whose face was covered in blood. Ji hoon stared at the picture then back at Marcus.
"No"
"But he's from your school!"
Marcus whined,
"How can you not know him!?"
Ji hoon let out a sigh and said slowly,
"So? Do you know everyone in your school?"
Marcus went quiet after hearing Ji hoon's questions. Shaking his head slighty, he brushed the topic off and quickly turned to Ji hoon.
"Whatever, it doesn't matter. Anyways, I need a favour"
Ji hoon was a bit surprised to hear those words coming from Marcus. The only thing Marcus usually asked for from Ji hoon was free food. Other then that, Marcus never asked for Ji hoon's help no matter what situation he was in.
"Okay"
Ji hoon replied without a hint of hesitation in his voice.
Marcus stared at Ji hoon then whined,
"But you don't even know what the favour is!"
"It doesn't matter"
Ji hoon's tone was serious yet gentle. It didn't matter what, for Marcus, he would do anything.
Marcus went quiet for a few seconds. Since Ji hoon had already agreed to it, Marcus didn't bother arguing and quickly told him about the incident earlier today.
"That damm asshole, he said i look like a girl and called my pink hair disgusting. He even called me gay. Can you believe that?"
Marcus whined, remembering James's words. Ji hoon didn't answer. He just nodded his head as if giving his sympathy to Marcus. Also, he too thought that Marcus looked a little gay with that pink hair of his. But Ji hoon was not stupid enough to say it out loud.
Marcus then resumed the story he was telling. He even told Ji hoon about everything Jamie had said when they were outside the gate of Jamie's house.
Marcus looked a little sad when he was telling the last part. After he was done, he stayed silent for a few more seconds before turning to face Ji hoon.
"Those guys will definitely be back to try and hurt him again. I can't protect him when he's at school"
Ji hoon understood what Marcus was trying to say. He nodded his head and replied nonchalantly,
"I'll protect him"
Marcus smiled, a little surprised. To him, those words coming from the heartless Ji hoon were pretty big. He knew Ji hoon would agree to help him, but he had thought that he might have to persuade him a bit.
To Marcus, Ji hoon was the type of person that didn't really care about others. He was the type who believed that 'if you can't help yourself, then no one can help you'. Ji hoon especially disliked weak people like Jamie. So Marcus was quite surprised but pretty happy too that Ji hoon had agreed to help so quickly.
They quickly changed the topic and started talking about other things. Marcus was hungry so he wanted Ji hoon to treat him to dinner. Like always, Ji hoon silently agreed. They both went out to eat.
Ji hoon had told Marcus that he would protect Jamie but he somehow had a feeling that the blond youth wouldn't need his protection.
His mind drifted back to the time on the roof when Jamie had kicked him. Then, as if someone had hit the replay button, Ji hoon began remembering all his other encounters with Jamie.
Jamie definitely wasn't as weak as he looked, he just made people think that he was weak. It was like he was doing it on purpose. Ji hoon could tell that the blond haired youth was definitely up to something.
"hn" Ji hoon muttered, lost in thought.
"What? what did you say?"
Marcus who had been walking beside Ji hoon stopped talking and asked.
He was now wearing one of Ji hoon's shirt as his had gotten blood on them. The shirt looked too big on him but he didn't really care.
"Nothing"
Ji hoon replied calmly with a blank face.
Marcus looked at his weird friend for a second.
"hmmm.... So anyways, i was saying that....."
He then continued his blabbering as if nothing had happened as they both walked to the restaurant nearby to have dinner.

The coming days went by smoothly for Jamie. The bullies hadn't come to school for the past few days so everything was quiet and peaceful.
'Maybe they're still resting after that beating from Marcus and Zhang'
Jamie thought with an evil smile on his beautiful face.
Zhang and Marcus would wait for him everyday after school outside the gate. Of course that rude jerk Ji hoon would be there too. They would then roam around a bit or have a meal together and Ji hoon always ended up paying for everything.
At first Jamie was a bit reluctant to let Ji hoon pay, but after a while he stopped caring.
'if this cocky bastard wants to waste his money so much then who am i to stop him'
Jamie cursed as he ordered more expensive food.
Jamie had also called the owner of his grandparent's place a few times. Since his grandparents didn't have a phone, he couldn't call them directly. Of course he always used a burner phone/payphone cause he didn't want to leave any traces behind for his stepmother to find his grandparents.
He also made a mental note to remind himself to buy them a phone the next time he visited them. They were both very happy and relieved to know that Jamie was safe and sound. Jamie told them about his plans to move out and promised them that he would try to visit them very soon.
Life was good for Jamie. He was finally living a normal happy high school life. With the bullies out of sight, no one bothered him anymore. A few of his classmates had even tried to approach him. Everything was going smoothly, well except for the issue with Kaito.
Jamie had tried approaching the nerd many times but that damm nerd would always avoid him. And if they did happen to run into each other, the nerd would just ignore Jamie.
Jamie was really starting to lose his patience. He had tried the calm and mature approach but it didn't even faze Kaito.
'Fine then' Jamie thought, 'its time to bring out the stalker in me'
Jamie then looked towards Kaito, who was in his seat writing something
'Just you wait, you damm nerd'.
Kaito, feeling Jamie's gaze on him, looked towards his side, only to see Jamie looking at him with a creepy smile. It sent shivers down his spine and Kaito immediately looked away and shifted his attention back to his notes.

Ji hoon, like always was sitting in a corner on the roof. His head subconsciously kept looking towards the door.
'He didn't come today too' Ji hoon thought, as he stared at the door again.
Of course Jamie had stopped going to the roof after that day. He didn't wanna run into Ji hoon. Besides, he had too many things to worry about. Also it was already bad enough that he had to see him everyday after school sticking like a leech to Marcus, he didn't wanna have to see Ji hoon's face at school too.
Although Ji hoon's company had now become a bit tolerable to Jamie, he still didn't like the guy enough to have a one on one conversation with him. Meanwhile Ji hoon, after sitting on the roof alone for a while, started to get really bored and decided to head back to class.
As he was going down the stairs, he heard some voices coming from the corridor. He didn't pay any attention to it and continued walking down the stairs.
"What do you want Jamie!"
A voice spoke up, making Ji hoon stop in his track. He waited for a while but heard no response from the other party. Remembering his promise to Marcus that he would protect Jamie, Ji hoon walked back towards the corridor where the voices was coming from.
He saw a black haired nerd standing near Jamie, glaring angrily at him. Since Jamie had his back towards Ji hoon direction, he didn't notice Ji hoon approaching behind him. However Kaito had noticed Ji hoon coming towards their direction. Ji hoon, for some reason looked mad and was glaring at Kaito.
"I....i....just want to talk to..." Jamie's voice was stuttering but his tone was very soft and gentle.
However, before Jamie could even finish, Kaito, who was already feeling a bit nervous, immediately turned around and left hurriedly.
"Wha....wait...Kaito.."
Jamie watched Kaito leave in a hurry again.
"Ah fuck, not again!"
Jamie cursed out loud, his voice sounding really annoyed and angry. He then sensed someone's presence behind him and turned around, only to see Ji hoon staring at him.
"What the hell, its only you. I thought it was a teacher"
Jamie was still feeling a bit annoyed over his failure to talk to Kaito. He honestly didn't have the energy to deal with Ji hoon right now. He turned around to leave too when he suddenly heard Ji hoon speak,
"I am hungry"
'Huh!? so what if you're hungry, am i your damm mother'!? Jamie thought bitterly but didn't say it out loud. Instead he just looked at Ji hoon and replied in a flat tone,
"So?"
Ji hoon looked at Jamie and calmly said,
"I want bread"
Jamie just stared at Ji hoon, who was so calmly demanding bread from Jamie, as if Jamie would magically make them appear from his pocket.
"Then go buy some from the cafeteria, i am sure its still open"
Jamie replied, getting more annoyed. He then turned to leave but Ji hoon immediately reached out his hand and grabbed his wrist.
"I want your bread" Ji hoon said calmly in a deep voice while staring at Jamie.
Not only was Ji hoon bothering Jamie, he was actually asking Jamie for the same bread that he (JH) had so shamelessly stole from him on the roof.
'uggh....this shameless jerk' Jamie thought, getting really annoyed now.
Since Ji hoon had also hung out with Jamie and the others everyday after school, their relationship had gotten a bit better. Jamie wasn't exactly on good terms with Ji hoon, in fact he still disliked the guy. But unlike before, he could now tolerate being around him, although Ji hoon did manage to drive him mad from time to time.
Take now as an example, he was making Jamie, who was already in a bad mood.....really angry. Jamie just closed his eyes and let out a big sigh, as if trying to control his anger. Then he looked at Ji hoon and replied,
"I don't have any"
Ji hoon was silent, as if thinking something over. Then he looked at Jamie,
"Then tomorrow?"
'Damm you, Why don't you go and get your own bread, you cocky bastard'
Jamie wanted to shout at Ji hoon. However, he didn't want to drag this conversation any longer nor did he want to waste any more of his energy on Ji hoon. So Jamie, trying his best to sound calm, replied,
"okay"
Ji hoon nodded his head in satisfaction, however he still didn't let go of Jamie's wrist. Jamie just glared at Ji hoon who was still staring at him. Then he motioned with his free hand towards his wrist that was being held by Ji hoon.
After seeing Jamie's action, Ji hoon let go of his wrist. Jamie immediately inspected his poor wrist that had just been released from Ji hoon's evil clutches and rubbed it gently.
He then gave Ji hoon an angry glare before turning around and (finally) leaving. Ji hoon just watched Jamie leave, then turned back and headed towards his own classroom.
