For once, you felt minutes like hours. The time Midoriya froze and walked closer to the bounds, it felt like that moment was like longer than it should be when in reality, it only happened in a few minutes.

It was such a relief when he fought off the command and swept it away with his will.

It was like a miracle.

His two fingers were injured, nose was bleeding and cheeks were kind of swollen...but despite that appearance, his face was very heroic for you.

For his victory to be announced by you was a real reward for Midoriya. Although it was just a bit of relief in your words, he understood how proud you were of him, how glad you were for his victory. Perhaps it was just exaggeration, perhaps it was just an over-reaction, but he couldn't help but feel so, now that his victory was confirmed by the voice of an angel.

By the voice of my angel.

My angel.

You smiled towards Midoriya and he smiled back, simple silent communication between the two of you that only that two of you could understand. The eye-to-eye contact simply lasted for a few seconds, but it held many emotions.

With your face falling back into your serious frown, you raised your hand and announced, "To the second battle!"

The robots were cleaning and so you were setting and recording up the facts to be gathered for the finals. You were also reporting back to the other coordinators of what was happening in the stadium.

Finally...

"The wait is over! Moving on...There they are!"

The second round...was for Todoroki. You swallowed as you eyed the white-red headed male walk in such a manner and stance that shows his cold and also a tad bit of downcast emotions... He almost looked like he's vexed of something...and that something might be related to Endeavor. You can't do anything but to watch, but after what Midoriya said to you, you couldn't help but think how their match would turn out especially with Midoriya's situation.

He's still not in control of the Quirk he holds now.

For now, all you can do was to be silent and observant. As much as you hate it, all you had to do was watch and judge the battles with fairness. As a coordinator, your weighs of judging must be fair.

"The cream of the crop! Yet this guy's somehow still as plain as they come! Sero Hanta of the Hero Course! Versus... The best of the best! The strongest of the strong! Todoroki Shoto, also of the Hero Course! Start!"

Sero was quick as he attacked first, using his tape to secure Todoroki by wrapping him with it. Then he used this to move Todoroki towards the borderline.

"He's trying to push him out with a surprise attack! It's probably the best strategy for him! Sero's giving his all!"

Then Todoroki mumbled something before huge thick ice—no, not ice...it was glacier to be exact—that sprouted towards Sero and upwards, the tip of the ice was astonishingly exceeding the roof of the stadium. With a slight jump, you tried to evade the ice that was crawling towards you without going out of the platform but it still reached you. You inhaled sharply as the frost surrounded your right foot up to your waist, making you shiver in coldness.

Your teeth chattered as you tried to move, but it was no avail.

What the fuck just fucking happened.

"Sero...A-Are you okay? Can you still move?"

"Sensei...Are you kidding me...? Ow, ow, ow."

You lifted up your free hand, still struggling of the ice that surrounded you. "Sero is immobilized!"

Then a robot came to you, a heater robot, and helped you unfreeze yourself from all the ice that covered you.

Damn, Izuku.

"Good try!" Someone started and it was followed by another one which soon became a loud cheer by every audience around the stadium.

Your eyes narrowed as you eyed Todoroki, lips were thinned into a flat line and brows were furrowed in worry. You saw from the side how sad Todoroki was when he was melting the ice he just created.

I get that you want to defeat him with your all, Izuku. But please...

You felt the ice finally evaporated and this made you sigh in relief mixed with worry as the thought passed your mind.

...don't break yourself that much.

Then when you're all settled, you shouted in a firm way—not letting yourself slip with a breaking voice. "Todoroki Shoto moves to the second round!"

Then you sighed, hands were falling to your side as you watched the robots take the frozen and chilled Sero to your grandma while Todoroki was walking out of the messed up stage.

The next fight, which was for Kaminari and Shiozaki, ended in a flash (you see what I did there? Eh, eh? No? Sorry.) with Shiozaki winning the match. Iida and Hatsune were the next, so you were kind of excited for this. To see a friend fight on a battle, you couldn't help but to internally cheer him on. Although it seemed Iida...was a little off.

"The first round's just about half-over! Next up is Iida Tenya of the Hero Course! Versus... Covered head-to-toe in support items! Mei Hatsune of the Support Course!"

You sweat-dropped as you saw him wearing all the support items, keeping in mind that this is Iida so he might have a reason to wear it...but still...

"How's this match gonna go? I mean, what is that...? Looks like Iida's also equipped with support items?!"

You crossed your arms, putting on your teacher-mode on as you huffed, raising a brow towards Iida. "Iida, support items are forbidden for the Hero Course students. You have to pass a request form for those before you go in the competition."

Iida was shocked at the rule—but it made sense since it was the first thing why they had to wear P.E. uniforms instead of their costumes.

"Oh! I forgot! I didn't think it'd be a problem seeing as how Aoyama wears the belt of his..."

You tugged your lips into a thin line before looking to him. "He passed a form for the support item. So it's an exemption."

He lightly bowed his head in apology towards you, sweat-dropping a little bit as he started his explanation. "I'm terribly sorry, then! Except...I was touched by my opponent's sense of sportsmanship!"

You narrowed your eyes at his words, finding it to be very...sentimental and youth-like.

Nemu-san might like this kind of youthful speech. She always does...she's Midnight, the R-rated Hero after all...right?

But Iida still continued, "Although she's a member of the support course...she came to me and said, 'if were to be seen as equals, then we should fight on equal footing.' She gave me these items to use! Her earnest spirit...I could never look down on it! That was my thinking!"

Ah...Well, you're Iida after all, so no surprises...

With a sigh, you gave him a small smile and let your hands fall to your hips. "Well, I guess I can allow it. If both parties agreed on it...well, why not?"

And with that, the match started.

You were surprised and quite...confused when Hatsune began to talk loudly—even with a mic as if she was an advertising lady somewhere in the skirts of the mall or something. You just watched as the event unfolded, eyes narrowed and brain fried at what Hatsune was doing.

Iida...I'm sorry for allowing such act.

The epic happening soon ended, and so Hatsune stepped out of the bounds. "Hatsune is out of the bounds! Iida moves to the second round!"

You can only humorlessly chuckle in both amusement and pity for Iida who was tricked by the great Hatsune. "This might be...my fault. Sorry, Iida." You deadpanned to yourself, shoulders were kinda slumped in disappointment.

The battles went normally went on and on...

Kirishima and Tetsutetsu got a tie, where the winner will be determined using an arm-wrestling match. Then the las battle soon unfolded and came. It was already Bakugo and Uraraka's fight.

This fight was, of course, might be...dangerous. Who said it isn't? It's Bakugo we're talking about. He once sparked your angry state when he took it to far to Midoriya, and you won't ever let him do that same thing again. Uraraka on another hand...is the complete opposite of Bakugo. She's gentle and cheery, always cares for the people and things around her. But she's now weak.

She's not weak.

The time the fight with Uraraka and Bakugo started, you were observing the match. You furrowed your brows in worry of having Uraraka be hurt, and she's even recklessly charging with all her might. Not that you hated the will of them giving up, but if she's not careful...

She can break.

It depends on how Bakugo will act in the end for sure. But Bakugo isn't the type to take his enemies low-key and worry about their weak and pathetic self—he's a hard-headed person after all.

Both in the meaning of not sentimental, and practical and realistic.

If he's going all out—he's going all out.

That's Bakugo.

Uraraka is determined, and she have a good plan, seeing as the skies were almost covered in rocks and debris Uraraka had stored from attacking Bakugo. The heroes that booed Bakugo...? They were strangely ticking you off. They're very inconsiderate of what was going on—it was as if their treating Uraraka like a poor girl. It honestly frustrated you. Uraraka is a wonderful person and she's strong. It was almost foolish for someone to judge her like that when she can do amazing things. She did fantastic, she did great...but when Bakugo exploded away all the rocks, you knew Uraraka was out of commission.

She already passed her limit...a long time ago.

When Uraraka fell to the ground, you held a hand to stop Bakugo after checking Uraraka. You let out a breath of relief because of the minor injuries she had—it wasn't that serious. You gave her a bit of your strength so she can still move around after being healed before you stood up and gesture for Bakugo's victory.

"Uraraka is out of commission. Bakugo moves to the second round!"

Then you leaned, tapping her shoulder as you smiled towards her, "You did a great job, Uraraka."

Her eyes were brimming with tears but they never fell, "(Y/N)-san..."

The robots soon took her away and so the tournament moved on. Kirishima and Tetsutetsu settled their match with an arm-wrestling—and Kirishima won. It was rather a dramatic event, so you couldn't help but smile at the manliness of the two.

You heaved a deep breath as the second round started—as if to take all the things away out of your mind and made it clear and sharp.

You were the coordinator. You were going to decide heavy thing as the match continues. The flames of the competition were getting brighter—fiercer and hotter, and you were going to settle that flame. If ever it bursts and suddenly burns, you're going to drench it with water—stop it, no matter what.

That's what you want to say to yourself. But then, having Midoriya fight for Todoroki with all his might and all his will, even if it breaks his bones or exhaust his power, he would be willing to take him on. This fight was going to be intense for sure. It wasn't just a battle after all—it was about slapping Todoroki and make him see what he has to see.

Show them what you've got, Izuku.

For a second, Midoriya glanced at you while walking towards the ring, giving you a lopsided smile—maybe in reassurance that he will be all right.

Show me, my knight.
