Looking over at the fallen paint brush still soaked in paint I explained my plan to the three cards and Chris.
Signalling to the cards they ran into the open towards the wet paint brush. Glancing over I saw the queen arguing with one of the guards coming he had touched her when just before they had been metres apart. With each of them dipping their feet into the paint they ran round the bush and in front of the queen making a trail for her to follow.
"Eeeek mice, off with their heads" She obviously thought they were mice as she squealed and squeaked at their sudden appearances. Either way it gave me and Chris a chance to eat some of the cake to return to our normal size and escape. Hand in hand we ran round multiple corners through the strange maze.
What felt like hours but was probably only minutes we saw sight of a forest only a few yards up ahead. Nearing it we could hear the screeching of the red queen get closer. Without hesitation we done into one of the bushes so as to not be seen. A few seconds passed and she emerged from where we had come looker even redder than before and with her hair a complete mess. In front of her barely a few feet ahead were the three cards supposedly taunting her.
"Catch those paint covered mice so they may lose their damn heads for ruining my hair" she screeched.
Displeasure was clear in both her facial expression and voice. Giving a small wave I signaled to the cards to show them where we were. With a small dive they disappeared into the bush beside us. Another minute passed and a series of cards came round the corner most likely to see to the queens orders.
As we watched from the bush I couldn't help but feel immense fear at the thought of being captured by this wicked queen of hearts. Reaching into my pocket I pulled out some cake so that I may shrink myself so that I could no longer be seen. Taking a big bite I put the rest in my pocket then remembered.
The cake would make me grow not shrink.
Looking down I saw I was growing at an alarming rate. Looking over I saw the queens back was turned as was the cards. Soon I was the height of a small tree which I guessed meant that I was about two and a half metres tall. Luckily my clothes had some how grown as well so I was still clothed thankfully.
Looking down I saw Chris staring at me in shock at the size I now was. Turning my head slightly I watched as the queen turned I'm time to see me stop growing.
At first all she did was stare at the sudden giant that stupid before her almost seeming to instantly forget all about the three mice she had only just wished to behead.
A few minutes passed and she seemed to compose herself and look at me in an almost fascinated and curious manner.
"why I have never seen a head or person as big as you my dear I must have you as a member of my court. What's is your name my dear?"
Looking at her I couldn't help but feel disbelief at her kind and sincere she sounded but I knew I couldn't tell her my real name so I made decided to make one up.
"My name is Lucy, Lucy Heartfillia."

I hope you guys like the update and thanks again to ApocalypticEliza for the inspiration for the beginning of the chapter so thanks a lot I would have never have thought yo something like that by myself.
