Dedicated to @Butterlipz my second wattpad friend for being sweet, caring and considering me like her elder sister.

------------------------------------

Next day starts with a bright sun,

Promising new dreams and turn.

Sky rejoicing in morning's birth,

Sparrows chirping in their mirth.

Nonetheless the day had planned to give me another shock.

Waves of dizziness rocketed my head,

I couldn't budge, I couldn't walk.

All I could see,

Things rotating around me.

I felt cupboards jamming up with the walls,

Tables & chairs getting into a brawl,

Curtains performing a dance,

I feel myself hypnotised by a trance.

Fans whirling like a humming top,

Roof collapsing and banging into the floor,

My bed turning into a couch,

I stand there with a slouch.

No! It wasn't an earthquake.

No! I wasn't drunk.

It was a 'Vertigo',

A syndrome making my nerves to and fro.

Holding my head I try to look around,

But I couldn't concentrate,

I couldn't balance my body.

"Mom Dad", I shouted feeling helpless,

They came rushing towards me,

Holding me, making me lie on bed again,

They pour on me questions of concern,

Unresponsive, I kept flinching my eyes.

I felt like throwing up,

My brain revolving like a ferris wheel,

After an hour of constant blows,

I sat there with deep sorrow.

Sorrow on the sudden turn of events,

Sorrow on the multiplying list of my illness,

Sorrow on my moments of pain.

Two years passed,

Since the terrible vertigo attacks,

I still felt jolts of giddiness,

Unnerving me for a second or two.

Miserable,

Moody,

Dejected,

Weak,

I felt in My Moments of Pain...

Brief Note: Vertigo is a subtype of dizziness caused due to dysfunction of the vestibular system. The patient has the sensation of objects in the surrounding moving or he/she is moving.

Hope you all like it.

Thankyou :)
