The tears streamed down the both of our eyes as we both tried to take in what had just been said. We sat on her bed, eye to eye, across from one another. I held her hand in mine.
"I'm sorry..." She managed to choke out, "I never meant to do this.. And I get it if you hate m-."
I quickly cut her off, "I do not hate you, because... The feelings are mutual... I didn't know how I should tell you, but when you said something I just got overwhelmed because I agree..."
Her frown turned into a beautiful smile, like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. I couldn't help but to feel my own lips curl upwards as well.
She pulled me in for one of her infamous hugs and held me tight. I gripped her back as if id never let go of her again.
Betty cooper liked me.
And i liked her back.
Without realizing, I pull away from her embrace and look down at my hands. I processed every single detail and thought I had since the first day in the fourth grade when I saw the beautiful girl next door, til now. It blew my mind.
"You okay, y/n..?"
I jolted our of my trance, "Oh yes. I was just thinking..."
"About?"
"Well..." I bit my lip, "Can I kiss you?"
My cheeks got as red as her experimental scarlet lipstick, as she hit her lip.
"Of course you can..."
I leaned in slowly, trying to keep my brain from overdriving. As our breath collided, I felt her warm lips sink into mine. Her breath smelled like minty strawberries, and I was living for it. She placed her hand on my jawline and I placed my on her waist.
Kissing her felt so natural yet foreign. We drew ourselves closer together to feel the full effect. She laid me down on her bed and trapped me with her legs. I couldn't help but to smile underneath every kiss which made her laugh.
Her body gradually moved up and down as she straddled me. I couldn't help but to throw her shirt off. I had been longing to feel her body heat on top of mine for years. Her skin was soft and smooth and my fingers traced her figure. I could feel her shudder under my touch and it gave me an unknown sense of pleasure.
After making out for a sold 9 minutes, Betty removed herself from my body. She sat perched on top of me and I smiled at the sight.
"You're fucking gorgeous." I exclaimed.
