The sight of my old home came into view. The Leaf Village. Years ago I had left my home taking my precious kids, and husband with me, we needed to find the cure, and fast.
Hizashi, Aisha, Akio, and Mikeala had grown up so much in the past 6 years. They've become so strong, and independent: we truly are an unstoppable family.
Finally, I stop at the gates. All the reasons not to return bounce through my mind.
"Neji," I whisper just loud enough so he can hear.
"I know," he tightens his hold on my hand. "Me too."
"Mom, hurry up. Are we just going to stand here, or are we going to walk in like normal people?" Hizashi asks.
"Kids, give your mother a mome-"
"Izumo wake up. Go inform everyone. . . I'm home."
