Riley Carter was a cheerful girl who had her life planned out. Until a traumatizing incident forces her to uproot her life and changes her into an emotionless robot.
Now a completely different person, she transfers schools and bumps into the infamous Ryder Wilson.
Ryder Wilson is a pain in the ass who would rather stab himself with a fork than converse with Riley Carter.
Riley suspects Ryder's job isn't what it seems to be.
Ryder knows Riley's hiding from something.
Once these two are put together, all hell will break loose.

As you can see, one of my characters Alec does not have a character aesthetic and that is because usually the character appears once or twice in the story. This does not mean he isn't important, it just means that he's not really a main part of the story. Just a little reminder because in my other books I might not always put this note : )

For example: A girl named Jane is in Unsteady and Jane appears in Falling Skies again.

I will try to explain as much as I can as to not make it too confusing for my readers, but the book may contain spoilers if you just want to go ahead and read them in any particular order. : )

At the top of each chapter there will be media, however it's not really important and it will only be GIFs of the characters.
Just under the chapter title, you will see a quote from a song and then the song underneath it. I suggest you play the song so that it can set your mood for the chapter, however if you don't want to go this then it's perfectly fine.

Thank you for giving my book a chance. I have taken Unsteady down and re-uploaded it countless times just because I thought I was too immature to write. This is my first book and it may not be the best book out there but I hope you can enjoy it anyways. I have been planning these books for quite some time and I thought it was about time I set them free.
