Erza grinned as she entered the familiarness of the Arena. It was time to check out the annoying things Tide left her to do. Seriously though, this was from her mission. Why can't she just solve whatever was in the box? It was like accepting to do paperwork files like the King and then shoving them to her last minute to 'check' it and basically redo the paper.

But then again, he was the King who always made annoying visits during her precious instruction time.

Erza mumbled to herself for a bit before flipping the journal page to the page Tide had bookmarked as 'Stuff'. Way to be specific, Tide.

"Use Gold and Silver keys first. Then Obsidian. Then Iron. Then Copper and lastly use the Glass Key." Erza read aloud and followed the instructions. Opening the box to reveal another box.

She then used the black key and unlocked another box.

After the black key, she used the Iron Key.

To reveal another box.

After the Iron Key, she used the Copper one.

To reveal another freakin' box.

Now, the innocent box wasn't mean at all. (It was a box! How could it be mean?) But Captain Erza Knightwalker, one who runs on a very tight fuse, was not amused. Not the least bit.

At the edge of her temper, she used the Glass key and unlocked the small box.

Inside the box was a dark key that went from black to its grey tip.

Curse those keys and boxes! What am I supposed to do with a tiny key? What? Fight with it?

Erza howled in rage and chucked the nearest thing, a poor vase, out the window. It resulted in an inhuman growl sounding from the other side.

Shoving the keys into her secret pocket beneath the ceremonial armor, she peered curiously over the edge and saw ruby red eyes. Staring up at her.

It was a pack of very grey wolves, yet these wolves were not flesh and blood. They were clearly pieced together by a brilliant hand and a brilliant mind. The ultimate weapon where no one gets hurt except the enemy. Right now, however. The wolves thought everyone was an enemy. Or was it a distraction? An act? A fake attack so that they could worm themselves into the Kingdom?

She looked farther and saw the limp body of a gardening maid with a flower pot by her side. Her blood feeding the plants she was supposed to nurture.

She whisked away from the window and ran towards the place she came from. The King was in danger! No, wait-The Castle was under attack!

"GET YOUR SORRY BEHIND OVER TO THE GARDENS! DON'T LET THEM IN THE CASTLE! SECURE THE DOORS! PROTECT THE GUESTS AND THE SERVANTS! SEND PLATOONS TO THE ROYAL CITY! BE ON LOOKOUT! HURRY UP, YOU SORRY EXCUSES FOR SOLDIERS! WE'RE BEING ATTACKED!" Erza yelled as she barged through the castle, like a raging inferno, most of the soldiers were smart enough to cling to the walls in her wake.

Soon, after yelling all of Edolas awake, she trampled through the hallway and into the meeting room just to see King Jellal and Aglor, or whatever his name was fighting a trio of the mechanical wolves.

"Your Highness!" She yelled, trying to grab her king's attention before snarling at the incoming beasts, "COME AND FIGHT SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE, YOU MUTTS!"

As if sensing a challenge, two of the beasts darted towards her and flew at her with their rusty limbs. They had the iron gleaming bodies of some sort of mechanic attraction.

Smirking as the familiar feel of a fight rippled through her trained muscles, she grabbed the airborne mechanism and smashed it into its partner. The clang of the iron against iron rang through the halls. She felt a large amount of pain from the loud sound it had caused, only the guy, Algor, seemed unaffected. Even the machines themselves seemed to be hesitant to move with such noise.

Suspicions clouded her mind. Was this a planned attack?

They were made of iron and steel, maybe even bars of Titanium. They had sharp rusty teeth and claws. They were faster. They felt no pain. They were hard to beat.

She had nothing but her armor, a scarf, and 8 keys. She was at a disadvantage if it were anyone but Erza.

But it was impossible for someone to murder in cold blood as many people as she did without getting caught and killed in the name of Justice. It was impossible for a woman to make it to the tops of the Royal Army in the reign of King Faust. It was impossible for Erza to survive being blasted off a giant land in the air and crash back onto the mainland. It was impossible for Erza to meet her parallel self in another world. And fight the other.

By now she had done so much of the impossible, it was only improbable, so with her ruined soul (if she still had one) she swore herself to the Kingdom Of Edolas yet again. Right now they needed not The Fairy Hunter to bring them hope and maintain order by whatever means, executing those who were a small threat. They needed a certain bluenette King that had abandoned them before only to return and defeat Lord Dragneel.

They needed a hero. To save them all, they needed a hero.

Hero.

She snarled like the hunk of metal heading her way. Taking her long blue scarf, she taunted it expertly before jumping into the fray and hitting everything she could. The scarf was tied around the neck of one mechanical wolf. She smirked as she tightened the knot.

She pulled and secured it.

"What? The mighty Knightwalker is going to try to CHOKE an animal with no heart?" The Aglor dude sniggered.

Faust's sake, this guy just kept on getting worse. Will the King mind if I hit him? Accidentally, of course, with a giant metal wolf-like machine?

She grinned maniacally and laughed like chaos. She jumped back and did a backflip, strengthening the scarf and then pulling on it with her combined momentum and strength. Like a wrecking ball, the machine was used against its own and metal crashed with metal.

Two went down with one hurl. Another one went down when she brought the tethered wolf down on its comrade with the force that cracked the ground and left a definite crater in the Earth.

She swirled around with the blue ribbon as if she were dancing with it, twirling, light, free. Metal against metal. Grunts of failing gears and system errors. She dashed protectively in front of King Jellal and the representative.

Three wolves rounded the corner and started for her. These three were HUGE. Easily the size of a standard army squad-

Shoot, no time.

Erza fell back on years of instinct and uncanny battle moves. Lifting her hand, she lashed the tearing fabric of her scarf, creating a whip-like noise.

The wolves whimpered a bit but didn't stop attacking. Erza slid right under the leg of one of the injured wolves and struck with the element of surprise at the other two.

After a few moments of struggle and a lot of close calls, she managed to get both wolves to crash into each other, head on.

Swinging, jumping, punching, tearing, all while looking in the direction of her king. Once the two wolves were reduced to pathetic pieces of metal, she looked back and saw the wolf dodge the representative and lunge for the king. Only to be held back by one Erza Knightwalker and swung over her shoulder.

"T-Thank you, General Knightwalker!" The representative of the really cold territory stuttered.

Erza nodded, before turning and kneeling before her King. "Your majesty, are you okay?"

When the king didn't reply, Erza rose from her position to take a few steps closer to him. As if drawn to his face. His handsome face was not scratched one bit, no sign of injury and definitely no internal injuries. Those amber eyes of his were still as calming as they were before.

Erza spared the king a tiny sympathetic glance before turning to hide a small blush on her face. "Those metal mutts were nothing. Right?"

"Yes! You destroyed our Titanium Wolves of the Timbers with a scarf. This...This is unbelievable! Thank you very much for the rescue!"

Erza scoffed, "You could have tried harder to hide it." She moved at lightning speed and soon stood behind the Ace with a sharp shard of metal at his neck. "You are arrested for an attempt on the King's life. Your verdict? Death with the rest of your mutts, Algae."

"IT'S ACE!" He said indignantly.

"An assassin caught red handed should give little to none commands. Especially when I am holding a sharp metal object at them," Erza said as she pressed down on the shard of metal, "You would think common sense would tell you that."

"But I guess some people are just forever stupid. What made you think you could attack the Capital of Edolas, when I'm in charge of the protection protocol?"

Knightwalker grinned at his terrified face. She liked the line of blood she had marked on him.

Slow updates. Very slow. But I will finish it. I promise.
