"Hey, how do I look" I said to my sister as she was putting on her wedding dress
"You look beautiful, listen the grooms best man needs a date and your single, so???"
"No Laura, I'm not doing that" I started laughing while she had a serious face
"Come on Minnie, please for me???" She came to my knees and placed her hands together
"Ok, Who is he?"
"Brandon Arreaga, he's his best-friend from Texas"
She showed me a picture of him and I nearly felt weak at the knees "oh my god are you serious HES SINGLE??" She told me to shh and I did so
"I'll text him and see if he will go with you"
We talked and drank wine for a while until it was time to go. As I made my way down the stairs running, my shoe fell off behind me and I ran up to get it. Someone was already there before me.
"I think you dropped this?" He said holding up the shoe.
"I guess so" I said playing with the hem of my dress.
"So is this the part where you run away and I have to try and find you to fit this shoe?" I laughed and he gave me a smile. "I'm afraid not" he bended on one knee and looked up at me
"May I?" I nodded and be placed the show on my foot carefully
"Well I'll see you down there?" He waved goodbye and so did I. I went down and thenMe and Laura got pictures together and I walked down the isle with her as she only wanted me to do it.
I sat beside the bridesmaids and I could see Brandon at the opposite side. He smiled at me and I smiled back, giggling a bit.
"I now pronounce you, husband and wife, you may kiss the bride"
Shouting and laughter could be heard throughout the venue. We all then went to the dining area and we all sat in our arranged seats
"L, I thought I was sitting beside you?" She smirked and I turned my head in confusion
"Well, I though it wouldn't be no harm to put Brandon beside you? Because I saw how cute he was acting around you.Oh, speak of the dev" "that's quite enough Laura" I said and we were both laughing really loud
"Am I interrupting something?" He said sitting down beside me
"Brandon have you met my sister, Minnie" "I've acquainted her yes, but do I know her,no" he smiled and I smiled back
"Well, Minnie, Brandon. Brandon, Minnie. Now that's all sorted you guys can go dance because it's not my time yet" she pushed us onto the dance floor where we were greeted by relatives and friends of the bride and groom
"So, can you actually dance" I said to Brandon watching him walk down
"I know how to freestyle, but dancing isn't my forte" while pushing up his glasses he extended his hand out towards me and I took hold of it and he brought me onto the dancefloor.
Slow sweet music was playing in the background as we danced together
"You're really good, Minnie. Do you take lessons?" He twirled me under his arm. "No, I just practiced with Laura all the time because we're both helplessly bad at dancing" be bowed before me and kissed the front of my hand.
"Would you mind?" He said again extending his arm for the next dance
"Ok. But please slow done a bit my feet hurt" he laughed and carried on dancing
"So this is like a Cinderella story?" I looked at him and he pushed his glasses up again
"How?"
"Well, a normal boy meeting a beautiful girl, they dance their way I to the night, she looses her shoe BEFORE the dance? It sounds like it don't you think?"
"Whatever you say, but I'm not beautiful" I blushed and hid my face from him. He lifted my chin and smiled slightly
"Yes, yes you are"
